Highlights
1. Many viewing points are available in the area from where you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountains
2. Don't miss to walk along the shopping street located near the restaurant
Must to do items
1. Tasting local food, my recommendation would be to enjoy the hot ginger milk tea.
2. Shopping - you can find traditional clothing and hand made antocraft for a decent price

Main tourism destination in West Java.
Nice scenery around,
Good main crater not far from parking lot.
Extra careful for children and elderly people.
This place is completely with many souvenirs store, must do hard bargain for got a best price.
Recommended place.

If you're looking for a vacation, this place is good. This place is easy to get. Don't worry, you don't have to walk through the mountain, there's road for your vehicle at tho top of mountain.

Entrance fees too expensive but nice place to take photo. Beware when local people offer taking picture because it was not free and you have to but very expensive item that they sell. Just rejected nicely when the offer taking picture

Convenient but they need to provide a convenient store fo the visitors. The most i love is only some steps from the parking lot to see the main crater. Going down the track of the gift selling areas gives awesome sightseeing

The volcano is only weakly active (good thing really) but it does have a plume of steam and smells of sulphur dioxide. Usual range of tourist targeting momento sellers will be available to sell you rocks, jewellery, hats and traditional products, but I found it interesting.

Legenda Sangkuriang pasti sudah pernah kita dengar waktu kecil. Ini lah perahu yg ditendang oleh Sangkuriang sehingga menjadi sebuah gunung yang elok. Fasilitas lengkap, parkir luas, restoran, souvenir, mesjid yg besar, dan pemandu wisata. Dengan harga yang tidak terlalu mahal, anda dapat menikmati nya. Datang lah ketika weekdays agar lebih sepi dan harga tidak terlalu mahal.

Overall is good, you can explore many place in here. Unfortunately you can't go to Upas carter because of poisonous gas. It has been closed since 2016

It's a really good place to visit. You get to see beautiful nature. You also could get good quality of selfie stick for cheaper price.

Tangkuban Parahu is one of the famous mountain in West Java Province.... also well known in Sundanese Legend...Sangkuriang. Nice to visit to see large crater. About two hours from railways station by public transportation. The amazing highland with amazing panaroma in North Bandung. Surrounded by tropical rain forest..., almost a full day the weather in this place cold, foggy, and windy. To anticipate the situation it's better for you to take/wear jacket.

Awesome cold places to chill out.
Try bring some good shoes because there are a lot of steps here especially if you want to get a good photos. They even offer a horse riding, printed photo on the spot and some souvenirs stuff.
A good place for sightseeing especially if you love natures.
Be wary the smell, try getting a masker here if you don't like brimstone smells.

Beautiful view of sulfur crater....large crater so the visitor can see the crater in some point of view, fresh air and beautiful panoramas. The facilities are complete enough. There are restroom, mosque and canteen which sell snack and of course some souvenirs seller.

The area is worth visiting. There is a large volcano and wonderful view and there is a market for popular purchases, snacks and a mosque.
Walking to the hot water is about a kilo.
Admission is 200 rupees

Really good destination to escape from city congestion. It provides a truly unique scenery of nature. Besides, there are some shops for buying souvenier in the eve of the hill.

I visited this place on the weekend just when they opened the gate at 7:00. The entry ticket was 35k per person, 17k for motorbike, and 5k for parking. In the morning, the view was spectacular, you can even enjoy fresh morning air and thick mist, I think this was the golden moment and worth every penny. Two hours later, the mist was gone and more tourist were coming. It was time to head back home.

A stratovolcano caldera at approximately 6000ft that offers the amazing view that only nature can provide.
However, be aware that foreigners will pay the entrance fee of 10x what a local would pay. That being said, the view is definitely priceless.

My favorite tracking track since i was a boy. Multi spot great scenary. Relative safe for an active volcano. Don't forget to bring jacket/ coat. But, yes, it's too commercialized now.

Stunning view, and nice to walk around. Merchants aren't very pushy and the place is quite clean. Only the natural sulphur smell may be bothering, so it might be a good idea to bring something to cover your nose & mouth with. Lots of tasty food around, and for a good price too.

This place has it's own folklore. Story about a genie who tried to marry a beautiful woman if I remember correctly. The view is nice just too commercialized that you will see so many local people trying to sell souvenirs or berries everywhere you go.

Great place with great scenery. But you have to rent a car to get there and it's better to prepare yourself to walk up and down the hill. Better not to go with kids nor elderly.

It is a summit of a volcano mountain that can be reach by cars.. or even busses... you can see a panoramic view of another mountain ranges like gunung gede from here.. at the other side is a view of the crater of gunung tangkuban perahu itself...

Nice place to visit if u at bandung, take 2 hours from Bandung. And there is entrance fee i can't remember how much. Beautiful active volcano.

Nice view and a bit cold. There are local who will tour you for free here but together with them are those who sell things. Be careful if you want to buy the things. Always bargain. Overall the views are amazing!

A great place to visit, because the nature is marvelous. However, the big minuses are -- they charge foreigners ten times more than locals (200 000 rupiah) and there is trash everywhere. They don't take care to preserve this beautiful place. :(

Impressive crater and nice hike around but hefty fare for foreigners (extra for hot springs, hence 4 stars), the 2nd crater is actually closed right now due to volcanic activity.

People say it's a typical tourist trap in bandung.. But if you never see any vulcanic crater before, I'd still recommend this place. Preferably not during school holiday seasons.
It has funny smell but the view is great!

They upgrading the facilities, the access are great..eventhough hiking was the very best experience you can get so you can roam through the forest and all the way up to the creater and top of tangkuban perahu and it quite save (if they say so because the volcanic still active) because if it not save they will close it and there is a lot of sign so the chance you will get lost are small..

It was a really good place to visit. They offer much lower price for the locals, but the price for international tourists is waaaay too expensive. I once took my friends from abroad to this place, and we ended up going back because their international price was waaaayyy too high
