Its ok hotel..away from noise but close beach and middle of everything...looks a bit dark but beach side is nice!

Tranquil, lovely rooms, great restaurant, great pool. The not so good but didn't really bother me was the toilet kept getting blocked, the roof was leaking in the bathroom after heavy rain. Housekeeping kept missing little things here and there. Overall if you want a nice place to relax and feel you are in Ubud and not Kuta then this is it!

Beautiful place we have a deluxe suite I believe my only complaint is that there's no private pool, however we checked out another suite that did have a pool but it was much smaller. This one has a terrace a spacious bedroom and bathroom and a kitchen area the living room is also huge. A tv in the living room and bedroom. The roof is absolutely beautiful looks like wicker or some material like that. Although it is now raining outside and not a drop has seeped in. Also there's no spa here however they can arrange for guests at a local one they reccomend. The outdoor pool is huge and only a few feet away from the beach. The grounds are very beautiful.

Very nice place - small and relaxed. Personnel is very kind and helpful. Only disadvantage - very near to airport (you can count all takeoffs and landings 24h).

Rooms are in urgent need of refurbishing. Rooms should be kept cleaner... we found some animal dump as well and bedsheets were full uf dead bug larva. Balcony sometimes was full of sewege smell. Breakfast is really ok, though once we were delivered only half of it. Staff very friendly, though sometimes was difficult to communicate with them. The private beach should be better cared for...
Worst thing though is the very noisy Mosque nearby.....

The only good thing about this resort is that its hidden. Nothing else. Service was dissatisfaction. Communication with staff was dissatisfaction. Breakfast was nothing special, i expected so much more, I stayed at sandi phala February 2017. An experience i wont forget. Very dissatisfied, considering the amount you pay, for a resort that doesn't meet up to its stars.

I stayed at the Sandi Phala for a few days as part of my honeymoon. The hotel is OK although I felt the room could have done with a bit of TLC and it wasn't the cleanest. The staff didn't look too happy and were not the easiest to converse with either.
The package I booked was a bit misleading (honeymoon package) complimentary bar consisted of some water and two cans of juice and an "attractive souviner" I never received. The Ma Jolly restaurant was nice though.

Beautiful room, once of the most peaceful and gorgeous pools I've ever had the pleasure to swim in, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended.

It's a beautiful resort to take a rest and relax with hundred of plants and trees inside the resort. And the staff is friendly too.

The beauty of The Sandi Phala is the sheer ambience and the comfort. Tucked away from the bustling Kuta market, the resort is an ideal setting for couples or a small family. The food was good and the hospitality was excellent. A great place to be for a couple of days in case you are dropping by at Kuta
