My girlfriend booked our vacation here via Airbnb for 5 nights, I have mixed feelings about the hotel and believe 2/5 stars if fair.
Aryasa was a fine host and a pleasure to deal with, he even arranged for us to be picked up at the airport which was a welcome relief. After a little trouble trying to find our driver we were off to our accomodation. The rooms were very nicely sized and the service from the front desk was great, the Balinese people truly are lovely.
Unfortunately the room did not match the service, our room seemed quite tired and worn out, the shower was difficult to use and seemed cheaply made. The toilet was similar, the unit was one of those fancy Japanese toilets but none of the features worked, the toilet roll holder wasn't bolted onto the wall properly and the paper roll kept falling on the ground.
Aryasa also gave us a number to dial on the phone if we needed assistance, the DVD player didn't work (no remote) so I called up reception and no one picked up, I had to walk to reception and ask if we could get it fixed, the girl was lovely and said no problems. We waited in our room and no one ended up coming, we asked again the next night and a man came an hour later, thankfully we got it all fixed eventually.
The pool in our villa was lovely, a great way to refresh ourselves! the gardens are cared for with great detail but there was a lot of paint falling off the walls, it seems like they don't care for the appearance of their walls at all.
Wi-Fi barely worked, the bandwidth was so slow that it took a long time to load even the most basic website, Aryasa said we could come to the lobby to use the wifi if there were any issues but unfortunately this didn't fix anything, I had to tether my mobile phone to my laptop to finish some business during my stay.
The hotel also organised scooter hire for us which was great but not very competitively priced (still very cheap but expensive for a scooter by bali standards) it is usually 30,000-50,000 Rupiah per day but we were charged 100,000 Rupiah per day.
I wouldn't recommend staying at this location as you would be able to find something much nicer for the price we paid ($150aud per night)

Terrible place, would not recommend going here. Made the mistake of staying one night, did not enjoy at all! Looks like it was okay 20 years ago but hasn't had any money spent on it since - dirty pools, poor breakfast, aged room etc. We found it so bad we ended up going back to the other hotel!

The villas situated in Uluatu in a great location, wonderful view in the middle of the forest.
Swimming pool was a great addition, but needs cleaning, as in rain season it turns green quickly.
Service was medium, for 200€/night hotel. There were no TV in rooms, bad Internet, hotel phone numbers not reachable, interphone in the villa for room service was not working..
Anyone interested in visiting this hotel, need to check if the issues above have been resolved.
