A European standard university that you can't compare to other Indonesian universities in terms of the quality. 90% of the lecturers are foreigners - mostly those who are also running a business in Bali so they really give real life examples from their own businesses. The curriculum of the studies have been developed thoroughly as it follows the curriculum developed in the Netherlands. Stenden have existed for more than 100 years in Netherlands, that's why.
I'm a student here currently taking my 3rd year in the Netherlands - yes you got the chance to study abroad for a year! isn't it fun? :)
Okay to sum up, I did not regret entering Stenden at all!

What Nick is describing here you can ignore. Here my opinion of what I experienced during my minor Event Management together with several other happy students. Very professional colleges and classes, interesting guest speakers from all around the world and teachers who come from the workfield. Furthermore the unique way of field based learning definitely prepares you for the working field after your studies and gives you the opportunity to learn what it is to work like an event manager. After all teachers and the management really know where they talk about and are besides this they are kind and fun to work with. Several field trips are made to visit professional event locations and several nice and fun events took place all organised by the University. Rafting, visiting of national parks and local villages included. Once in a lifetime experience....

Future applications or anyone who is interested in Stenden University Bali: please beware of the lack of professionalism at Stenden University Bali. I was accepted to this university and they offered me a scholarship (with the conditions that it would not change) however, after further correspondence a few months later they tried to change this agreement. They are very nice people, however, they lack basic foundations/regulations to prevent professional miscommunications such as what I experienced. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a bachelors degree program.
