Environment was amazing. Be sure to make reservations. Felt that the starters were much better than the main course.

Always great food and service. Best fish restaurant in Bali, and one of the few that has an original Balinese view like it used to be back in the days

Great place for a meal / drinks.
Evening time will be perfect for a meal/drink facing the paddy field which gives u the feel of Bali with awesome view
Attentive service by the staff
The sign on entrance should be bigger ; otherwise people might missed it

Had such a great dinner facing the padi fields. Pictures does not do this place justice. Service was attentive, prices are reasonable for a fine dining. Drinks are great n there is bar area as well.

A beautiful dining experience in Bali. We enjoyed every moment. The food and service was just about the best we have enjoyed here. A dining must.

Nice view of a small intimate paddy field from main dining area. Food is decent but nothing to rave about. Rather decently priced compared to other establishments in Bali.

Food amazing, service exceptional, atmosphere and venue wonderful, view over rice field a sensational touch. Went here for dinner with my fiancé and enjoyed every minute. Thank you Sardines Restaurant.

What a setting! The menu is excellent and quality of dishes matches it’s good reputation. Good service generally from here and be sure to make room for their excellent selection of desserts!

The reservation process was disappointing. My boyfriend called and talked in Bahasa Indonesia, the receptionist said we could make a reservation, but hung up without asking our details. Few minutes later, I called and talked in English. She became very helpful. As a local, we were offended.
The food was delicious but overpriced.
The sunflower garden was very beautiful though, so these stars are mostly for it.

Lovely food, great venue, service good though a bit over attentive, ridiculously priced for Bali. Enjoyed it, sucked up the bill!

The best restaurant in Bali. I highly recommend visiting if you are in Bali. Service team is Excellent. Food is delicious and beautifully done. Sauce and ingredients are well balance and fresh. I had the grilled quail, tuna sashimi, grilled octopus, suckling pig, Sea bass, grill shrimp and fish. Dessert was amazing with the mini tasting. Try the lava chocolate cake with 100% local organicly grown cacao.
A gem in southeast asia.

The restaurant is located next to the road, in front of a field of lush sunflowers, with ducks and quails by the side. Service staff are very friendly, seafood is very fresh and well grilled. The salad pairing is well thought out too. The only slight downside is the price which is a tad bit high.

Outstanding! My favorite restaurant in Bali. Food is delicious, surroundings beautiful and service friendly. Never disappoints.

Best meal I've had on Bali. Salad was super fresh and seasoned well, the wild mushroom ravioli with ricotta and risotto was amazing, and the snapper was perfectly cooked. The Pinot went really well with the fish. 10/10, will definitely go there again when back in Bali.

Fantastic food and service in a nice setting. The serving sizes are good although you'll probably want an entree as well as a main. Well worth a visit, just be aware it's not cheap.

I went to this restaurant a few times and i have never been disappointed.
Its a seafood restaurant. all dishes are amazing. The seating looking at the rice field is beautiful and well kept. the service was amazing.
a little bit pricy for bali but worth it. great for a romantic dinner. One of the best restaurant in Bali.

The natural view of paddy field makes your dining experiences much more better. The food was okay but not excellent, a bit pricey compare to other food at the same level. The waitress was unfriendly to the guests. When I was here and wanted to choose the table for lunch, she said that the table that I choosed wasnt ready yet and it would take so long. The truth : it was only take less than a minute to set the table. Fortunately the other waitress helped me to have the table I choosed, the table facing the paddy field. Overall you should try this restaurant

Simply sublime
This was the most amazing dinner experience. The setting is absolutely surreal, beautiful balinese setting backing onto a rice patty adorned with lighting and illuminated umbrellas. The service was excellent, wanting for nothing but the food was beyond excellent. Largely a seafood menu, I was in a party of five, all having different dishes, all rating their selections 5 star. This is something very special, it provided the my wife with a most memorable 50th birthday experience (the cake was lovely as well) and all of us with a special dinner to remember. Congrats on an amazing restaurant

Beautiful setting for a fantastic seafood restaurant. They have some great art in the garden with lovely views of the rice fields lit up with lighting.
Exquisite food, we all absolutely loved every piece of food. Great service and cocktails too. You can have dessert on the couches in the garden, which is a lovely touch.
Can't wait to go back here.

Unique restaurant in Bali with a french touch. Relaxed and nice, it's the perfect place for a special dinner!
Monika Lund (16/03/2017 02:21)
Great place, great food, great service. Only thing is they often don't accommodate walk ins very well, stating everything is fully booked, when we can clearly see the whole time we are there, that tables are free the entire evening.
Gael Nolard (02/02/2017 13:25)
If you have a minimum of gastronomic culture, DON'T GO!
It is overpriced and not really tasty. We paid 75€ for 2 dishes and a pity tiny salad with 1 glass of wine! My wife returns the fish because it was uncooked.
You pay for the deco and ... nothing else!

Great fusion of Europe and Indonesian food. Rice field in back of restaurant, extensive bar menu (for Bali), good art, creative menu, very good English.
Looses a star as prices are very high for Kerobokan and portions are small.
W.M.Liew (30/12/2016 16:39)
As the name implies, this is primarily a fish and seafood restaurant. Don't visit if you are looking to eat meat. Food's presentation is brilliant but quality is so so. Blaring pop music is also a let down. Otherwise a nice ambience, with good photo op at the back of restaurant. Expensive and no WiFi.
Phil Barton (29/12/2016 01:31)
Fantastic fresh seafood perfectly put together - up there with the best of Sydney restaurants - at half the price. Good cocktails, teas and deserts too
Dave Davis (04/08/2016 15:46)
Amazing seafood restaurant. Cocktails are delicious and expertly prepared. Staff are competent and prompt.
Had the fish and risotto and it was delicious.
Make a reservation for this place too. Or you'll get stuck hunched over on a couch eating your dinner like we were. Almost impossible to enjoy your food like that. Fortunately, this place is good enough to overcome that.
Quite the romantic spot too if that's what you're looking for.

Fancy and clean place with a great rice field view. Staff is friendly but not so much to the kids. They don't have kids high chair, just in case you are planning to go there with kids. Otherwise this restaurant is totally not suitable for kids.
Food was ok but too pricy. We ordered two drinks(one wine and one ice tea) two appetizer, two main and the end was about 100 dollar. I think for this price in Bali is really really way too expensive.
Overall, nice dining environment, not recommended to go with kids, for the price is not really worth it.

Very good food. Fresh products, nicely prepared. Very nice place and atmosphere. Large field of sunflowers.

Fine dining, great ambiance. Expect outstanding food and service. The menu changes daily, depending on the supply.
Highly recommended.
Lindsey Davidson (04/09/2016 05:28)
A divine dinner with wonderful service in a beautiful setting. This is the first time in the 6 years of being open that they planted sunflowers instead of leaving the ricefields our friendly hostess told us. Beautiful! The setting is so breathtaking that having a romantic dinner here is like you've landen in heaven. The flavors the different preparations of fish are spot on.

Wow, really enjoyed Sardine. Not just great food but a great overall experience. Lots of little touches made the evening the highlight of our Bali visit. Lovely ambiance overlooking the subtly lit rice field and the food didn't disappoint with great flavours and textures. Highly recommend an evening here.

GOOD STUFF
The food was really quite good. Portions are not particularly big but that isn't what the restaurant is banking on.
The breads served was toasted perfectly and the butter was just right. No salt and not frozen.
We ordered the Jimabaran style bbq fish and the Grilled snapper. Both were good but we liked the bbq fish most. It was served it rice that we would like to believe was grown on the paddy fields that contains the restaurant itself.
Ambience is obviously a selling point of the restaurant. The pictures don't lie.
BAD STUFF
Service was not good and the staff could not communicate well in English compared to similar restaurants.
Essentially, you are paying for the ambience. The same food and service would have been severely severely overpriced without the view of the small paddy field in similar modern restaurant.
Scott Lambert (17/05/2016 07:48)
The food here was wonderful and the outlook from the well designed interior of the restaurant over the rice fields outside is sublime. Service could be better though.
Nizar Noor (02/05/2016 20:42)
Great food, great view, nice atmosphere. Service is not bad at all but could be better.

What a magical place. Go deep inside to the end of restaurant where the terrace is next to huge rice field! OMG, the espresso Martini and Bloody Mary's are to die for 💙💙💙
