This place really looks after their horses. They have clean, cool stables with hay and water on demand. Very professional approach. My daughter had two lessons here as we dragged her along on a quick surf trip, away from her beloved ponies and this was the bribe we had to offer. Will definitely bring her back again in future.

Went here for a pony camp and it was amazing! The price is reasonable and the stable is clean and neat. Workers there are like a family together and very happy together. Food there is not bad 👍👍 just that the riding lessons could be a little longer maybe? 😂 recommended for families 😊

The reason Royal Sport horse Bali is so superior to the others places available in Bali is there passion for the horses. The horses are treated like Queens and Kings, with no expense spare in the care of each horse. The Horse Owners and clientele also receive specialise care . As they offer a range of instructors , trainers and experienced grooms. Royal Sport Horse Bali also offers the opportunity for riders to experience involvement in the day to day care and preparation of the horses, which is so important for the riders to understand that horses are living breathing animals with feeling . It is an absolute pleasure to see the encouragement from each rider and the owners, as they socialise in the Cafe that over looks the floodlit arena. It has the effect of The Hotel California.......You will never leave !!!

The place is nice and well-maintained, with a lovely mini-farm full of rabbits etc.
The horses look happy and cared for.
For some reason they wouldn't let me do the beach ride. Whatever, let's go for the ricefield ride. Which was nice, except I paid for 1 hour and we were back after 40 minutes...
Feels like an extra effort needs to be done there...

Really nice place with good quality, well trained horses.
My friend and I had a 45min schooling/jumping lesson. We had two really beautiful, well schooled horses and had a really lovely lesson.
The yard is really nice with big open stables, sand school, wash area and seating area. The horses are really well looked after and the few that we rode/watched being ridden were very well behaved and well trained.
I would highly recommend this yard, the staff are really nice and the horses are beautiful and well mannered.

The best experiences ever. I took the lesson for 1 week nd got lots tips. The horse are well trained, arena is just perfect, the coach (Pak Ilham nd Pak Darman) are the best coach I've found, the atmosphere is so friendly and relax, and the owner soooo nice. For sure I will miss the moment being part of this Club. ....

ROYAL SPORTHORSE BALI (04/01/2017 06:10)
This gem boutique stable has undergone metamorphosis since the new owners took over the place mid 2015. Not only the stables became bigger, cleaner, lighter. the whole approach has become more natural, so the horses are happier and healthier. The collection of horses is the highest quality in Bali. Dutch and Danish Warmbloods, thoroughbred, Arabian, it's all there. The funny ponies are friends with all children.
Great place for learning to ride, rice-field tours and close to the beach.
Kids are able to touch, groom and pet the horses, rabbits, goat, chickens, turkeys. they have the day of their live!!!!
The new big arena is the finishing touch, this place is where horse-lovers meet to ride and talk about horses

One of the best family gathering places & a loveable horse ridding experience. Rice field rides or Beach rides, you Choose :). Always have special camps for kids and groups...

Its a nice place for horse riding. Has a small petting zoo with rabbits and a goat to keep kids entertained. Also a nice place for ricefield tours.

I highly recommend that people avoid this horse riding adventure - they tried to rip us off!! Firstly - We paid for a certain time frame, an invoice stated what we had paid for and we were ripped off at least 40mins riding time
Secondly - we wanted to HORSE RIDE! not be lead around like a bunch of kinder garden children (my sister nearly fell asleep it was so bloody boring)
If you want to enjoy your horse riding experience I recommend avoiding here!
This review will be posted on other forums (conveniently) We can't find them on trip advisor but we will continue to search - so no other visitors waste their time and money here!
Only redeemable quality was - when we confronted them about ripping us off they returned the money for the service they did not provide!

We booked this place through our hotel, who I trusted to send us to a reputable organization. Boy, was I wrong. First, the tack was all wrong. The girth wouldn't go tight on my horse and when I complained I was told that "she's had that saddle for years; it won't fall off." The stirrup leathers rubbed our calves raw. Also, the English tack might throw some people off (especially Americans) though my husband and I, who have been riding for years, are used to it.
The brochure stated that our 2-hour ride would go through the rice paddies and then a long ride on a "non-touristic" beach. It said nothing about the first 25 minutes being on a road. A very small road, with motorbikes and cars honking at us and passing in close quarters. At least the horses didn't spook at all the traffic.
My husband's horse (a stallion, like both of our guides were riding) understandably didn't get along with one of the other stallions. Then, when we finally reached the beach, his horse was prancy and kept throwing his head down, making it difficult to control him even at a walk. I offered to trade horses, which I did, thinking maybe I could do a better job. I couldn't. We are not beginner riders, mind you, having ridden on Safari through Africa and India, and ridden on multi-day trips in Spain, Portugal and several other locales.
Eventually, I got off and walked, but since that horse didn't even have proper ground training, I couldn't even walk him on the beach.
I totally agree with the other 1-star review -- avoid this place! The other review is for the map, not the establishment!
