This place is beautiful but very expensive... especially the food.. Their staffs are very couteous... It's a calm and beautiful place to relax... once you have good savings... :P

Room was dirty still had cup stains on bedside/walls and the pillows had stains and bad smell. Really disappointed, food/drink expensive, we thought we had booked breakfast but found out we didn’t and we’re told we had to pay a ridiculous amount. Then our room was terrible it really put us in a bad mood for our last bit of our holiday. We talked to the staff several times regarding our issues.... the next morning we were offered a new room but at this stage we just wanted to leave...we were told no refund would be given for the remainder of our stay..... after talking to our booking company later that day we finally got a refund. The only one good thing I have to say is the boy that escorted us to our room was lovely.

Absolutely hated this place. The photos make it look impressive but it’s really spread out and all the good spots are crammed full of tourists so impossible to relax and take it in if your looking for anything more than a quick spot to take a cool picture. The reception staff were super rude, I think they don’t like western guests, it’s really catered to the Asian market. The food and drinks are insanely expensive and not even good. I’ve been to Bali several times and stayed in tons of hotels here and this is my worst experience yet. I’d rather have Bali belly than stay here ever again. Bali has so much more to offer than this soulless tourist trap. Trust me you will be happier staying somewhere else

Nice hotel sharing fantastic facilities with Ayana. Our room was just way too far from the reception and main area (restaurant and pool) - make sure you ask for a room closer
They have large beds but the you'll need to sacrifice a nightstand which I didn't particular like. The pools are especially the private beach are amazing.

A huge hotel complex in lush grounds with restaurants, pools, spar, and a train to take you around the grounds. Beautiful rooms with balconies, fabulous breakfast and various restaurants. Rimba is the quieter of the two hotels in this complex. More than just your standard accommodation. Pure luxury.
Casey Huang (11/04/2018 13:31)
Staying at RIMBA was absolutely amazing! The rooms were very clean and had all the amenities I needed. The resort had so much to do, I barely had a chance to do everything I wanted. All staff members on property were very respectful and friendly. It was a blast staying there, would definitely recommend.

I have never been at any hotel which couldn’t figure out how to use a credit card (I have Visa, MasterCard , Diners and Amex)! So to “charge” bills to our room we had to pay upfront deposit in the front desk - not a big issue normally, but they couldn’t also figure out have to pay back deposit on our “debit card” and would therefore pay in cash! A BIG no go for a currency I can’t use anywhere else and since it also was our last destination, it simply didn’t make sense. As a result we only put in a fair but smaller amount.... Big mistake! Two times we ended up in situations where we had hit our limit - first time was after ordering room service for dinner. Then our dinner arrived we had to go and find the front desk and put in more deposit (cold food as a result that night). Second time was after visiting Kubu Beach... We had ordered some cold drinks (less then $20) and ended up having a man escorting us to our room to pay in cash - a 10 minuets drive each way.... not to mention that we was hold back and therefore missed the first shuttle back.
Please keep in mind that we are talking about a 5 star hotel... no trust what so ever! we didn’t experience anything like this at any of the others hotels we visited in Bali.

The first impression when I entered the place, I was like, "am I still in Bali?" Because, the place is so different compare to many luxurious hotels in Bali. The entrance is surrounded by trees, it was like it has it's own forrest. There's also a pathway where people can jog among the trees. And also the park, we can just sit there with our friends, have a little picnic with foods and wine for hours. It's a great place for families to have an "epic holiday".

Absolutely stunning. Beautiful. Peaceful.
The only negative is the rock bar. I think if your a resident at the hotel you should have priority over other customers, and the staff kept telling us to wait for a table and and hour later they still were telling us to wait.
We left to the sky bar. Which was a perfect last night.
Thank you rimba 👍🏻

Absolutely a must visit !!! My husband found Unique Rooftop Lounge on Google and we decided to go for it. It is located in RIMBA... a great bar and some delicious food. People are friendly and extremely helpful. RIMBA is a vast property with many restaurants and lounges.. We ordered for vegetarian fajita and tacos along with wine and whiskey... bit on the expensive side but the ambience makes up for it !!!!

We went to Bali for our honeymoon and Rimba was the last hotel we stayed at out of three. It was amazing staying there. So many pools you can choose from and the private beach was beautiful. They upgraded our room as well because it was our honeymoon. They also gave us a little gift and cake to go with it when we got inside the room. This place is very expensive but if you want your bang for your buck this is the place to stay. The staff are very friendly and greet you whenever they get there chance. Free shuttle also to go anywhere in the resort made it helpful. Will definitely visit Bali again

Hill room is not huge but really comfortable. The room service is excellent, and the breakfast in Rimba is rich and great for little ones.

Great resort at the perfect location. Awesome pools, very good for a family with kids. Really enjoyed our time here and very affordable room rates.

The most highlight point is the Hainan Chicken Rice in the restaurant and the California king size bed. I think this place was running by Chinese because there was a lot of signs written by Chinese.

Great place to have your wedding... Just attended my niece one. Wonderful setup and decor.
Ronald Luu (03/09/2017 13:02)
Bottom line, great resort with great amenities! Part of Ayana resorts, Rimba is economically positive alternative with all access to the Ayana amenities including Rock Bar, Kubu beach and numerous pools. The garden view room was spacious, private and very clean! Staff are all very nice and very accommodating. Food is great, although can be very pricy, especially for Bali. Would definitely recommend to anyone and plan for a return visit.

Great if you want an isolated Bali experience. The resort is big enough to enjoy for 2 full nights. Excellent restaurants, and a complimentary buggy to take you around and explore.
Ikhsan Ramdan (30/06/2017 00:58)
Nice room. Nice swimming pool. Good that we can also use facility from Ayana
Karina Palle (18/06/2017 13:12)
Great family resorts, very comfy room with the best rain showers. Many great restaurants too choose from. Relaxing atmosphere. Great for a 2 or 3 day getaway.
Denis Guillot (14/05/2017 08:03)
Beautiful resort. Great service. Quite expensive though. Plenty of good restaurants and bars.
Ariyada Vadasz (03/05/2017 04:36)
The staff are so polite and everything is incredible from the food to the swimming pool to drinks at sunset at the Rock Bar. There's a tram to get between both locations. Anything you could need, you just ask the staff. I don't understand why people are complaining about how small the rooms are. There's a massive bath and gorgeous bathroom. 12 swimming pools and 2 water slides. 2 fitness centers.
I do have an issue with the fact that the female staff (at Unique and the Rock Bar ) have to wear mini-skirts and tight tops while their male counterparts get loose pants and shirts. The women should be able to wear loose pants and shirts.
Marilina Luna (24/04/2017 01:55)
Everything about this place screams quality. I had a lovely one night stay at this gorgeous paradise and enjoyed every second of it. Views and room are breathtaking and the best of all is that you can go around all the Ayana hotels. My only complaint is the ugly robe and shoe selection that this room carried for guests.
Al L (06/04/2017 00:35)
Couldn't be more pleased with the rooms, multitude of pools, and people. There is a shuttle for transportation to all the facilities. Rumba has some great restaurants and pools to enjoy, including a water slide for kids and a rooftop spa. Food is expensive, but it's convenient eating at the resort. Also, don't miss the orchid, which is a great place to get tea and pastries inside a cold, temperature controlled glass greenhouse full of orchids.
Carl Yan (31/03/2017 02:06)
Luxurious hotel, everything is pretty decorated.
Charges are expensive for the services like restaurant and spa. But the quality won't let you down.
Madhav Bhagat (20/03/2017 06:12)
Perfect place to laze around. They allow non residents in the pool and the staff was extremely cooperative. The floating cushions meant that we spent more then 3 hours chilling in the water. Food and drinks were descent and not too expensive.

An absolutely amazing place to stay. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are immaculate and the facilities are top notch. The pools are incredible and the photos in the brochures match the reality.

Will definitely come back to this awesome place in future. Staffs are very friendly and customer oriented, foods are great, facilities are abundant, unlimited devices wifi access everywhere within the premises (except on the private beach). Family friendly.

Amazing jungle retreat. The lounge area in the lobby has two round lounges within a pool. Uber awesome! Staff are very friendly. You can truly feel relaxed. The rooms are quite modern ,stylish and very clean!
Sagar Kanta (29/08/2016 14:27)
Private beach, a rock bar at the edge of ocean, infinity swimming pool, forest all around. You can easily spend 3 days only in the resort. A wonderful romantic getaway..
Hats off to the staff there. Hospitality at its best.
Sahil Parekh (13/07/2016 00:48)
Cannot fault this place! Absolutely lovely facilities and staff. Definately a great place for families and couples. Great for people looking to get away from all the crowds in Kuta and Seminyak. Staying here you still have access to all of Ayana's facilities.
Jason Morgan (03/07/2016 06:26)
Amazing place, close attention paid to every detail, relaxing, a bit pricey but worth it many times over.

One of the best hotels in Bali. Good location, great rooms, and great pool. Good for families and a bit more lively than next door Ayana
Andereas Tjoe (22/04/2016 14:47)
Love this hotel. The service is superb. Friendly and helpful staffs. They hand over mineral waters for free when we were at the pool side. I remember the moment I climbed up from the beach, it was tiring and hot because of the 220 steps, they offer us cold tower and cold drinks. For free. That's how they capture my heart

We love this Resort , we always finish our holiday in Bali at the Rimba . We have stay at this resort 3 times and love it . We love how it is apart of the Ayana and you can use both resorts . The Rimba has amazing pools , we do pool jumping all day . fantastic kids pool and the adult pool is our favorite . We always get upgraded and treated like VIP , the staff go that extra mile to make sure your stay is enjoyable . The rooms and grounds are immaculate , it's a great romantic holiday or family holidays . My husband always takes his own beer there and they always supply him with an eskay filled with ice , happy man . Would recommend this hotel its money well spent , pure luxury !!

It's a nice resort--if you're looking for a place that will take care of everything for you, this is it, and you will pay for it to. The Rimba is located on the Ayana resort grounds--it's a closed resort, which is nice, you can actually walk around, and have access to all the facilities at Ayana, which is a 5 minute shuttle (free every ten mins) away. There are 10 restaurants on the premises--the ones at Ayana have better food than Rimba. You're at a resort, so you are paying about 2-3X more for everything than you would on the island (ie a large bottled water will cost about $3 US instead of $1). Rimba is the modern hotel, Ayana is the traditional (like four seasons) one. Both are beautiful, staff is plasant, and it was a nice way to end the trip, although you can find smaller paces for 75% of the cost nearby too.
As a tip, Uber is usually nearby, which is a much cheaper alternative to a taxi (ie $3 ride to the airport instead of $20).
