A traditional market offer many vegetables, meats, fruits, and flower. The price is competitive. You can bargain to get cheaper price.

Very good experience to be here. You could see the locals' transaction. They sell food, fruits, veggie, raw meat, flowers for praying ceremony. Very rare you find night market in Indonesia open daily and Bali has some more!
Enjoy Indonesia :) !

Quite neat for a traditional market in Indonesia. Dry. Orderly managed. Good market.

A very good place for Fresh veggies, fruits, local spices and flowers. Evenings are better to shop.

It is one of the most complete traditional market and also all the things we need is fresh. But like in othe traditional market in Indonesia the one that difficult to be perfect is the cleanliness

Cista Suryani (27/09/2017 00:10)
The biggest and most complete traditional market that specializes on selling fresh fruits, fresh meat, fresh veggies, daily supply for daily Balinese rituals/ceremonies, and other groceries.
The price can range from cheap to expensive, but you can always bargain.
On rainy days, it can be quite uncomfortable for people that are not used to shop in a traditional market ; there are puddles and trash that is carried away by the rain and sometimes, there is also bad odour coming from the sewage.

The biggest traditional market in denpasar, before was located in gajah mada st.but then been moved by the government due the fire incident..but some of the seller are still open their stall there, but most of them already moved to this new place..

You can find the international and local ingredients. Most restaurants and hotels in Bali depend with this market for their fresh supply. Don't expect too much about clean and neat local market.

Prepare yourself because this is a food market in Asia. So the health standards are not on par with western ideals. But you will find the best priced and freshest product in the area. Arrive early with everyone else to get the best deals.

Most tourists won't really need a place like this but if you love to cook and experience a market this is as authentic as you will find.
