Nice beach with good potential. We rented an umbrella beach bench which was ok. There is no other facilities here. Be sure to bring your own food and drinks, there are vendors though. There's no security to watch over your belonging so be careful. The beach is a lot less crowded compared to Pandawa beach and far cleaner. And there is no mobile phone signal.

I love the beach .. very nice view and perfect for tan your skin. I rent the umbrella + chair price around Rp100.000 (7$ or 6€) *last visit 19 April 2018
you just can leave once you finish. if you hungry they also can serve coconut water and some food. You can ask and see the menu maybe. 😁👍

The road to the beach is beautiful and pleasant to ride. The beach is pretty good. Waves are not too big so you can swim. However, the beach has not much facilities as coffees or showers.

One of my favourite beaches in Bali after Sindu Beach. It is very pretty. I am so in love with these amazing spectacular sandy white beach! The best time to visit this beach is by afternoon ❤️

The Ocean forms in places a sheltered pool which is ideal when you have small kids or just don't want the hassle of waves. There are a few stalls near where you park your scooter so that's handy.. Plus the cliffs provide shade on the beach. Ideal place so to spend an afternoon!

Very safe and shallow at low tide and perfect for kids. Rougher at high tide but partially protected by reef. Check the cliffs further along for small cave and sun protection before midday. Reasonable food and drink available. Watch out for the numerous wedding photographers in the middle of the road coming down.

Breathtaking view of the sea from the high cliff. The winding road to the top of the cliff would remind you of those in movies. Very clean place, perfect for wedding photo shoot. Sound of the waves, sunset view, beautiful view, nice roads, refreshments at the base of the cliff...you have everything for a perfect day out with your loved one.

This beach is one of my favorite beach in Bali. long white beach (it's actually very long) with cliff feature. many spots if you're into photography and there is one spot where merchant selling foods so you can have something to chew in the afternoon while watching the sun sets. you can swimming in some areas and some other areas are rocky so you probably wants to check that first. the best thing is that the beach is free and there's no entrance fee.

Beautiful beach, getting here on a bike you get to see some stunning views! The roads there are very bumpy and a few patches aren’t even a road but big rocks. Drive carefully !
A clean beach, renting chairs and a parasol costs 100K - bit more than on some other beaches but worth it.
Huge waves and low currents. Nice for surfing or just relaxing.
You can buy cold drinks along the beach!
Lots of cool small caves that you can crawl into!

Huge limestone cliffs are to be driven by before you reach the beach. Actually two, but small. Melasti Beach is under construction, so in a couple of years it will probably be crowded. Today it is almost empty and without the nowadays usual fee. Don't forget to bring your camera. Amazing views.
KaWai Woo (06/11/2017 17:16)
Beautiful limestone walls for our pre wedding shoot. Think they are improving the attractiveness of the location by building sidewalks during this period. So do quickly visit before it gets too tourists infested
Rens van Daalen (31/10/2017 05:05)
The surroundings are stunning. A good road running through the high cliffs. Almost no one was out there except for people taking wedding pictures. Highly recommended!

Very quite and clean beach. The rout to reach here is very sinic. One can find place like private beach here as it is not popular commercial tourist place but if one want to really enjoy beach without anyone disturbing you, this is the place.
Rajkumar Manoharan (24/09/2017 17:24)
Best Private Beach with zero crowd. We were pleased to witness a beach wedding ceremony. the view from the cliffs gives chills. if you want a quiet place with no sellers and stuffs, this is were you should be.its not that shallow so non-swimmers can also get in and have fun.
Putu Novi Arfirsta Dharmayani (05/09/2017 13:36)
Nice view from the cliff, you could see the road across the cliff. You should try tipat cantok in here, cheap and delicious. No fee to enter this beach.
Reezky Pradata (05/09/2017 13:06)

A really nice place to visit and chill. Also a good spot for photoshoot.
berkan ozturk (15/07/2017 00:40)
the path going down is a very easy to walk one, a bit steep but not dangerous.
there is some construction ongoing so probably they will make it more commercial eventually. it is better to visit asap. water is very clean and clear, not so many people around. around 3-4 o'clock, there is almost no waves, good swimming location.
Amrita Bhattacharyya (02/07/2017 04:57)
Beautiful beach..view of the beach and Indian Ocean is spectacular from the nearby cliff.Winding road through the limestone hills towards the beach is just awesome.A few small food joints are there on the beach..excellent place to witness a mesmerising sunset.
Stuart Kelly (20/06/2017 10:09)
Used to be a nice natural beach until roads were dug into the countryside and cliffs destroyed to make access for the masses directly on to the sand. Better than many beaches in the area but it won't be nice for long...
Sue Ann Siang (16/06/2017 04:44)
The place is beautiful but polluted with trash. Groups of men do nothing but stand and chat in that area collecting money from photographers taking photos there. Such a shame that these men try to make money from this place without cleaning this place up.
Wahyu Mutiara (11/06/2017 09:00)
The view is so fascinating. I love this place. U dont need to walk to see the panorama
gracia leona (10/05/2017 08:15)
nice view. not crowded. great place to sun tanning. It has shady areas so if you want to laying around without get tanned, that's a perfect place.
Alexander Kukuh (10/04/2017 10:49)

Serhio L. (05/03/2017 12:24)
Great for bathing and for kids. Mostly locals here, very few tourists. Couple of view points and very beautiful road to the beach. Great to meet a sunset.
budi muryanto (27/02/2017 00:18)
A very beautiful beach you find after long driving. It's worth every minute you spend to get there. It's still virgin. Even you can find small fish swim on the coastal area. Worth worth worth every minutes and every dollar.
Christian Hartono (07/02/2017 04:29)
Good place, beautiful beach. Visit there in a morning, it so relaxing!
Devi Yoga Indiyarti (22/01/2017 15:00)
A beautiful place. The beach is still very clean and quiet. Better go there before the construction finished. It won't be as nice when it's crowded.
Jack Buttowski (27/12/2016 13:15)
Not yet develop. Good for just chilling by the beach. No toilet though
Herlina A Sen (11/12/2016 11:48)
Easy to reach by scooter. Just remember to bring your own scooter and car as there is no transport or taxi here. This beach isnt that crowded but no warung around here, expect to bring your own drinks or snack, just remember to not throw the trash here.
Ahmad Anshori (30/08/2016 09:54)
A pretty beach surrounded by cliffs, it is easily accessible by asphalt road descending the cliff. There are only little hawker so bring your water here as you will not find any convenience store nearby.
There is still a lot of wildlife in the sea water, you could find tiny crabs, sea horse and colourful fishes.
Tips:
* Don't forget to bring your snorkel, as the underwater view is still beautiful
* Return before dark, the road is pretty dangerous
Pros:
+ Beautiful underwater view, perfect for snorkelling
+ Free to enter, free parking
Cons:
- Beware of sea urchin sting as you step
- No sunset view, as this beach is located at the southernmost part of the island
Robin (31/08/2016 14:05)
Amazing scenery, great bike ride. There is actually a good asphalt road here that isn't on google. Definite worth visiting.
Vincent Ivan Tanaya (31/08/2016 13:23)
One of the hidden beaches in southerside bali with stunning limitless waters and sunset by the cliffside
Graham Stone (14/08/2016 02:58)
Beautiful white-sand beach with coveted free parking! A little wild at high-tide but at low-tide you can explore the tide pools and swim calmly. Watch out for sea urchins. The sun sets behind the shore-side cliffs so it gets dark early and you don't really get to enjoy the sunset. Usually windy (and a little cold) August to September.
Groza Subhakty (09/08/2016 09:25)
The road access are very good and with smooth asphalt. Just be sure to keep at safe speed because its an open 200 meters cliff at most turns. The view is spectacular and many spots for good pictures. Use WAZE to get there and it will lead you to the most efficient routes.
Andre Mahey (13/06/2016 06:18)
Nice beach. Plenty of places to dip safely.

Beautiful Indonesia - Beautiful Bali
Southern Bali has a new decent BEACH you visit, the name is Melasti Beach. Precisely located in the village of Ungasan District of South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali
Rokas Lileikis (29/05/2016 05:05)
Agree Marco K. I saw this place in pictures and it was much more beautiful than it is now.
Mark Paulda (03/04/2016 07:28)
simply amazing to see the winding path cut into the cliff and equally amazing to watch a sunset over uluwatu from here.
