Fantastic service and great food. Surf guides are great and always having fun which makes for a good atmosphere. I will return and majority of people I met staying there were all repeat customers.

I have been going to this camp for over 7 years now. Have been with mates, my partner, and solo.
Have always enjoyed my time there in the water and out. They seem to be always trying to improve the experience, any my opinion is they are!
Would highly recommend to surfers of all levels.
The food is always fantastic, the accommodation is superior, and I have met some really awesome people from all over the globe during my times there !...
I will be be back again soon.

Stumning beach with white sands. This beach is quiet and romantic place.

Great surf camp in Bali for advanced or beginner surfers. The routine here is simple they take small groups to the best waves twice a day. Often they are first in at breaks that other people can't access at that time.
Breakfast and lunch is included in the accommodation price, then guests go out to one off the great restaurants within walking distance of the camp.
Non surfers are will catered for with a nice pool and on site messages.
Andrew and Ina who own the camp keep things running smoothly and ensure guests have the best trip possible.
The only downside is it's nearly always booked out, so get in early for your holiday.

This is my second trip to Bali and second time staying at Padang Padang Surf Camp. It has been another wonderful experience and I already can't wait for my next stay there. Where to start - The food is amazing, the staff is so kind and friendly, the surf instructors are the best around. I can't fault this place at all and truly find it to be my own version of paradise. Whether you are looking for a full-on surf vacation or you want to mix it up with some relaxation by the pool, a nice massage or two, this is the place to be.
I need to add a few comments specifically about the surf instructors. Each time I have come to Bali, these instructors have been able to exponentially increase my surfing abilities to levels that I thought I would never reach. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a long way from where I want to be, but I would never be able to accomplish the same jump in skill level on my own or with any other instructors in my opinion. They challenged me to push myself and I now have the pictures and videos to prove that I've surfed the biggest waves of my life thus far. I should add that I never once doubted my safety and that despite pushing me to new levels, I always felt that I was in extremely capable and safe hands. The separate post-surf photo reviews were also a real bonus and aid in improving my surfing. They were able to really pinpoint what I was doing wrong and what I needed to work on, all the while also having a really fun time in the water. These guys are the best and I wish I could take them with me on every surf trip, but I guess I will have to just keep coming back to Padang Padang to have the best surf experiences possible.

I visited here again In October with my soon to be wife who I met at the surf camp 2 years before.
After speaking to the the owner I think that we will be the 4th couple to have met at the surf camp and later gone on to get married, it must be something in the water or is it just the great location and the very like minded people visiting.
From my previous stay there have been a number of improvements, one of these is the tennis court that was looking very tired before and now is good enough of the likes of Tim Headman, and if you are stuck for someone to play Andrew the owner is always up for a few sets.
The food keeps on getting better and better each time I attend there are now regular deserts which are great. The BBQ is something not to be missed every Friday with a selection of BBQ'd fish, meat and vegetables that are all finger licking good.
There are a few new surf instructors he that are all very consistent and as always have a great smile ... my wife had the best surf of her life catching some great waves at Temples and Green Balls, with the added video analyses of the session later in the to help everyone try and fix those little faults.
We used the camp for our pre and post wedding location making this stay perfect for us.
I am struggling to think of anything that I dislike about the location and service, it's deff a little bit of Paradise in Paradise.
You will find some great restaurant near by all with in walking distance or if you book during the day with the staff they will arrange for the driver to take and collect you which is a great additional service they now offer for the restaurants just that little bit further away, if you are more of a walker i would recommend you take a torch to guide you.

You may have read the often-repeated advice online about where to learn to surf in Bali. It goes something like this… “stay away from the reefs and head to the beginner-friendly beach breaks of Kuta/Legian/Seminyak”
Having now been there and done it, I can tell you that advice is wrong.
Why would you want to learn in the busy, unpredictable, surf-lesson-factories in Kuta when you have the option to discover surfing in the predictable, uncrowded, crystal-clear waters of the Bukit peninsular, surrounded by incredible scenery and great people.
The location of the surf camp is fantastic: 2 minutes from Padang Padang beach which is used as an indicator of the size of the waves around the peninsular. This meant that we didn’t have to waste time driving around hoping to find suitable waves as the incredibly knowledgeable guides/instructors knew exactly where we’d find perfect waves based on the tide, wind and current swell.
After a hard day of surfing, the camp compound proved to be a perfect place to relax and get to know the other guests staying at the camp. Hammocks and large sofas spread throughout the grounds and set well back from the road provided a perfect place to lounge around and read a surf magazine or treat yourself to a massage.
Breakfast and lunch are included in the price when staying at camp. Breakfast is often actually two breakfasts with a light offering of bread and jam, bananas, tea/coffee available before early morning surf sessions with a proper breakfast served later in the morning.
Lunch at camp is absolutely delicious and is different every day, based on Balinese dishes and cooked by the fantastic staff at the camp. Ina - quite rightly - doesn’t like food being wasted but if you’re somewhat of a food disposal unit like me, there are always second helpings available… and third helpings… and fourth!!
For your evening meal, which isn’t included in the price at camp, there are many options in the local area. There are several very nice places to go for dinner within walking distance of the camp and for the price of a short taxi ride, you can venture slightly further afield for even more variety.
We stayed in the cheapest rooms at camp during our first week and were very pleased with their quality and cleanliness.
We decided to extend our stay at camp having had such a great time during our first week but unfortunately the rooms at camp were already fully booked. This wasn’t a problem though and a room 2 minutes down the road at alternative accommodation was arranged for us.
If you make an enquiry and find that the rooms at camp are fully booked, don’t let that put you off as the accommodation they will find for you is still very nice and you’ll still feel very much a part of the camp with access to all of the camp facilities during the day.
Enjoy your stay at Padang Padang Surf Camp… You’re not thinking about going anywhere else are you?!!!
