You can see exquisite paintings from many legendary artists from all over the world esp from our own Indonesian legendary painters like Raden Saleh, Affandi n many more. They didn't tell me if we're not allowed to take pics, so i actually have many photos. But after i read other comments i just find out it's not allowed. So won't publish it to respect the museum

a great museum to understand how artists (both from Europe and locally) saw Bali and the Pacific. a good complement to the Museum Puri Lukisan in Ubud

No air conditioner.... Hot inside. Otherewise, very nice art collections. Not allowed to take photos or most of the exhibits.

Didnt know what to expect with this high rate entrance fee. Dusty sculptures... no one to ask fir guidance..but, yeah, nice collection.

too costly n not flexible... being govt owned should be less costly. it was also empty, so i doubt about its contents...

Not a lot of explanation of the exhibits, and way to much white man art. If you want to see a bunch of white men's paintings of Southeast Asia, then I guess this is okay, but if you are hoping to learn anything about the amazingly rich local Balinese art scene, Balinese traditions, or how Balinese art has changed over time, you'll be sorely disappointed.
Also note that the place is not climate controlled, and the cafe only has Sponge Bob SquarePants ice-pops, or the local equivalent.
Definitely bummed that we wasted 70rp each on this. Don't bother.

Nice Place ! For local and foreigner ticket IDR 70.000, and if you have student card IDR 50.000
The lardgest art museum in Asia Pasific.
