Good coffee. Good pastries. What else is there in life!

Absolutely delicious food and great setup! French styled food with a local flair. Miss it already!

Croissant was lovely and a true croissant. Superhealthy Bowl was ok, the smoothie side was pretty frozen so had to wait a while to eat it. Long black coffee was terrible, like brown water.
Other people's baguettes and pastries looked great. I think a place to come to for these things and they will be good, for other breakfasts and coffees there are so many better places in canggu.

Excellent French bakery that has real baguette and pastries, eg pain au chocolat, croissants.
I had the breakfast burger which was delicious, they add their own sauce on top. Coffee is good too. And there are lots of desserts which I will have to come back for.
They also do all day lunch so u can come here whenever you want

I regularly eat my breakfast here - very tasty! My favorites are the homemade granola bowl, the smashed avocado on top of a thick bread and the smoked salmon with spinach and cream cheese.

There is a selection of gourmet sandwiches including croissant, brioches, bagels along with organic bread rolls.
Plus of course there are some delicious looking patisseries, including chocolate mousse, chocolate cake, eclairs and coffees.
Monsieur Spoon has established itself as the best bakery in Bali. They have disrupted the bigger establishment such as Bali bakery.

Every time I go in here the kitchen staff are yelling loudly and the wait staff are playing YouTube vids that clash with the music that's on. It's not a nice environment inside... But the patio is great and the selection is good!

Despite being a chain restaurant I really enjoyed the lunch we ate here. There is lots of killer cake and the coffee is good but the main event was a simple ham and butter baguette which was easily the tastiest bread I can even remember eating, either in- or outside of France. Chapeau! 👏

I felt in love with their chocolate cake! You have to try it even though it's not that cheap but it's definitely worth the money. I also tried two different tarteletts which also were amazing and tasty. If you have a sweet tooth you have to go there!

A Frenchman in Canguu couldn't be happier! Good coffee and good croissant! Great.

Coffee was ok but was served cold instead of hot. We were waiting for our desserts for about 1 hour which is very disappointing. The place itself is very cozy with comfortable seating area outside

Very good place for a European style breakfast. Fresh ingredients and chill atmosphere. Highly recommended.

A popular breakfast/lunch spot in Canggu neighborhood. The French toast is big and delicious, a total hungry crowd pleaser. I have not seen anything bad came out from its kitchen.
The place is busy since 9am till lunch time. Service might get a bit slow especially if you sit outside and the house is packed since they have limited staff.
Smoking sitting area is provided and quote spacious. They have a parking space for some cars and bikes behind the restaurant.

We are walking from our villa in Canggu all the way to this place only to get a very delicious croissant ever. On the way to this place we stopped by at one coffee shop and took plain croissant but the taste was very poor at that place. Then we really expecting for a great one at monsieur spoon... and finally after more than 2km away we can taste that very very delicious croissant! Great taste monsieur spoon!!!

Founded by passion. Baked with passion. I eat passionately. The most delicious croissant in Bali.

Yes pastries and croissants are very good, but service was horrible, the waiters were super rude. One almost bumped into my wife and did not even apologize. The other did not say a word to me as I was buying 3 items. It's also quite expensive compared to other places.

My fave place for breakfast or just having some coffee... nice place
Risty Sabbry (18/06/2017 12:24)
Actually i love their pastries and the coffee was okay but their staff is only friendly to the foreign guest, as a local guest, to be more clear as a Balinese, i was so disappointed bcs they look down on us. Hope their staff don't do that again to other local guest. So disappointing!

Outstanding food and pastries. Good coffee too. Wifi is ok but not the strongest to get some work done. Fab garden too. Staff is ok
Jess Gillett (18/04/2017 08:30)
Waited over 45 minutes for a bowl of granola and two smoothies. They were busy but we had to repeatedly ask where are food was and it was always 'just coming'. Really annoying experience.

Really good Coffe and nice dishes.. prices are quite expensive! Friendly staff!
Marcus Pearce (29/03/2017 07:44)
I had the ham and cheese baguette. Delicious sourdough bread and good quality ham and cheese. Simple good flavours
Taco de vries (25/02/2017 15:18)
Popular Cafetaria with upscale crowd, good food, reasonable service, bit expensive
Jana M (11/02/2017 01:51)
I love the outdoor sitting they offer. Staff was very friendly and you can really have a rest there, without being disturbed all the time. Iced Latte was great and the Crossaint is just awesome!
Jessica Alvarado (16/01/2017 07:21)
I absolutely LOVED their pastries and croissants!!! Incredible lemon tart! The hazelnut chocolate mousse cake was to die for! We ate dessert there nearly every day! The coffee was OK
Gj Endlich (28/12/2016 02:29)
We ordered online. Prices where different online (almost double when we had to pay when delivered). The juice was half full! . Overpriced for the quality!
PartyTigress (12/12/2016 08:33)
Proper croissant best have it warm. Sour dough was a winner.
Love the selection of pastries and hearty bread.

Now I know why my wife loves it here. Breakfast menus are really good. The atmosphere, the garden feels, the coffee, everything is just fit perfectly.
marcello stanley (16/07/2016 04:04)
great small bakery with nice al fresco table. Fresh bread and either jam, or smoked salmon and some other option as well.
They have parking space at the back.
Careful of the birds :D
ayu nanda (27/06/2016 02:08)
I like the garden side, nice place to have small gathering with friends. Thank you that they have parking car behind even not so big but enough, because if parking in front will disturb the street. Tasty cake.
Amélie Scheffler (17/06/2016 08:49)
Good bread, croissant and pastry (try the lemon meringue tart). Service can sometimes be a bit slow. But it is worth the wait. Very nice outside garden
Steven Heath (20/05/2016 15:02)
Can the service be any worse in this quirky locale? Go to Deus et machina across the rd any day.
nicolas piellard (17/05/2016 00:44)
Very positively surprised to find this place (thanks to the villa owner advice).
Garden was nice and even a bit cool.
Pastries were amazing ( especially compared to any australian bakery :))
The cakes ( chocolate and almond/raspberries) were awesome
The cappucino was decent ( coming from australia again ... it's already an achievement :))
Baguette was ok too.
Looking at the choices, we really wanted to try everything.
Intrigued by the dark pastries ... will try next time.

Best pain au chocolat in Bali ;)
Mathieu Cervety (28/10/2015 12:25)
I order a (frozen?) baguette, which was hard, a brioche ham & cheese (they did have any more brioche) the sandwich was dry and cheese didn't taste cheese and a pain au chocolat aux amandes which was ok. Please do something!
