My boyfriend and I had a really nice 4 day stay at Kamafari surf camp. The surf instructors are super friendly, expert and patient. We were both beginners but we managed to improve and catch some waves in a very short period of time. Also the staff at the camp was very helpful and the food included in the price was basic but good. We really had a very good time!! Totally recommended.

Super nice Camp. Very friendly Staff and fair prices. We had the ocean View room with Air condition. Air condition = no moscito ;) very nice stay. We will Come Back.

I spent one week here and had the best time! The staff is really lovely, everybody is friendly and helpful. You normally have breakfast and dinner together with the other guests (if you wish) which gives the whole camp this Kamafari family feeling ❤
Getting vegetarian meals at the camp is not a problem, even vegan is mostly feasible. There's also plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants close by that you reach best with a scooter (can be rented at the camp, about 3€/day).
I had never surfed before and took only 3 lessons but thanks to the instructors and the good conditions for beginners I stood on the board on day one and was able to catch some waves. Even though I'm not the sportiest it was really fun!
We stayed at one of the Ocean View Rooms with AC and a separate bathroom. All was very clean and tidy and in good condition.

Great surf camp run by lovely people. Super comfortable and perfect small size. The surf lessons were also well run and taught. I hope to go back.

Good alternative for South Bali stay. Days are nicely paced with surf class in the morning and epic breakfast. Dinner menu is fixed but changes every day. The place is nicely maintained and scooter rent is cheap. On the negative side only cold showers available.

I had a great time for the people i met there, and the surfing teachers... but the service on the hostel was very bad... especially the cooking lady, who always put a bad face when i asked anything for her, also yelling in her own lenguaje.. i would not come back, but like i said the other travelleres were great and nice, as they usually are in these kind of places...

Amazing Place in padang padang. Good food, friendly staff and a verry familiar atmosphere. Surf lessons are really good, i saw many People there surfing for the First time, and they have been greatly improved after a few days. The bungalows are really nice, balinese style. Best Surfcamp i ve ever been!

Kamafari Surfcamp is the perfect place for taking surflession or guiding! The stuff is very friendly and you stay close to the culture there. From the camp you have a great view to the ocean and the vulcanos. I´ll be back to Bali and of course the Kamafari soon :)

Thanks to Kamafari Surf camp I’ve had the best time ever on Bali. The camp is amazing. It’s really comfortable, low-key, has a great atmosphere and the best view ever! It’s a perfect place to meet new people. You can hang out in the big lounge area with TV and playstation, play pool or just relax with a bintang on the couch after a good surf session. The surf lessons were really good. I think I improved my surf skills (which weren’t really good) a lot after one week of lessons. After that I could just rent a board in the camp and try on my own or visit the beautiful beaches like Padang Padang and Balangan, which are really close to the camp. Thanks to the staff that made me feel like home, I had a perfect holiday!
