If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Wonderful hotel with amazing staff. Very nice breakfast with Seaview by the pool. Can deeply recommend this hotel. From the reception, kids club, fitness center, and cleaning stuff everyone is just so friendly. Also at night you have very romantic sunset, special at the sunset bar and grill. Will definitely come back. Many greetings Marc

We had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental for 2 nights - very welcoming and helpful staff, and the renovated rooms and pool/gym and other facilities were fantastic. Great restaurant options available on site - and incredible local seafood available just 2 mins away on the beach. Hope to be back soon!

Excellent service. Good restaurants nearby. Clean pools, nice beach (directly in front of hotel). Have stayed at similarly priced or more expensive resorts in USVI, Florida and other places but the service here was much better. The spa appointments could be better. Sometimes they don't answer the phones. When appointments are booked they give vague directions about where to find the places and people nearby have no idea what is going on making it the opposite of relaxing. Actually just have up on my appointment instead. If you walk a bit down the beach from the resort there are piles on trash on the beach and people having trash fires full of plastic, dogs and horses openly shitting on the beach without cleanup. If you want equal service and a place that cares about the environment try Costa Rica.

Amazing place! Just in front of the beach with super cozy beach sits and beds! The night ilumination near the bar is such amazing, almost magic of lamps violets purpure and warm yellow. Some of the service team are super helpful. There is several cultural Indonesian events in the Restaurant.

This resort has it all. You don't have to leave the place if your intention is to shut down for a while. Food and 'experience' costs can mount quickly but can be managed if you take advantage of special offers. Food, drinks and staff are absolutely first class.

What an amazing hotel and location on Bali! If you are looking for a magical sunset, this is the place to go to. Stunning views from the hotel pool and a short walk down the steps to the beach. Service and rooms were great. Good gets a little boring after a few days but there are plenty of restaurants outside of the hotel. They even have a kids club offering a variety of daily programmes. A definite place to go back to.

We stayed for a week in January 2018. The hotel is undergoing some renovation to update rooms and such but everything we needed was open to use. the staff is top rate and they did everything possible to make our visit perfect. The Sunset Bar on the beach was our favorite place to hang in the evening. Great vitas to the spa also. We enjoyed walking up and down the beach and there were many good places to eat and meet the locals. I would come back again.

We had 5 nights here this month. We were given a free upgrade from an entry level room to a Club Suite. This may have been to do with the renovations in the Club wing that were underway but there was hardly any noise and the minimal noise that there was occurred during the day so was not intrusive at all. The service was superb. The gardens are huge, spectacular and run right down to the beach. Would definitely revisit.

A absolute highlight of our honeymoon on Bali in July this year! We arrived at this luxurious, ocean-view hotel after staying already the whole previous week in another 5-star-hotel in the mountain area, so our expectations were rather high. And we were not disappointed - this was an absolutely fantastic stay! The hotel is incredibly clean, the hotel grounds are perfect - each blade of grass is perfectly cut! The staff is VERY friendly! Despite the many visitors, we always found a great table for breakfast, either in the main area, or at the pool - once we even ate in the special pavillon which is usually only rented for special occasions - only because it was quite full in the breakfast area! The hotel grounds were huge and very, very beautiful. The Sunset bar at the ocean offers breathtaking views of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, while you are sipping delicious cocktails on comfy sunbeds :). The beach which is just in front of the hotel is very clean. A nice touch: 5 minutes of beach walk away from the hotel one finds 10 or so nice little seafood/pizza bars, where you eat on the beach - depending on the tide, sometimes LITERALLY with your feet in the water. The prices in these bars are 3-4 times lower than in the hotel, so one always has a choice. One can take taxis to the nearby party villages such as Kuta, for a very reasonable price - remember to ALWAYS ask the driver to switch on the meter! It will ALWAYS be a lower amount of money than what he asks as a fixed price!
We stayed at a Singaraja room, which was beautiful, modern and very clean, with a huge TV with sky (so we could watch Game of Thrones :)), a huge walk-in wardrobe and a large, beautiful bathroom. We got complimentary bottled water a few times during the day. As honeymooners we got also a bottle of sparkling wine, which we drank on our large balcony overlooking the ocean :)). Nearby our room the "Singaraja lounge" was placed, where at any time of the day the Singaraja guests were offered water and ice-cold tea, as well as some cookies, and books in many languages. The breakfast was very tasty and many different nationalities would get what they would like. The highlight for me was the pool bar, where you ordered and drank your cocktails or beer sitting directly IN the pool, looking at the Indian ocean...the Intercontinental was an absolute heaven and the high prices are well deserved! Thank you again! We hope to be back one day!

Best place for having lunch. Been here quite often and the food was really good. Never ever disappointed.

Dino Maiolo (20/08/2017 12:24)
Pretty nice, upscale place. It's huge and in Jimbaran. Weird situation with the parking. Couldn't find the Japanese restaurant because the staff gave me bad directions. I hung out on the grounds in front of the pool and behind the massage parlor and it was a real beautiful sunset setting. Overall, pretty impressed with the place, but I didn't book a room there. May try it some day.

Great resort! The Intercontinental goes a step above and beyond most other resorts. Tough to beat if you want to spoil yourself.

Gorgeous, Professional, Warm

This is a beautiful resort to relax and feel special. The staff are spectacular and the breakfast is impressive. We stayed our 2nd time for a wedding anniversary and were spoilt as if we were truly family.
Highly recommended

This is an amazing place, our room was one of the newly refurbished, luxurious and clean rooms which was a pleasure to stay in. There is a variety of restaurants, and effort can be made to accommodate dietary requirements. The beach views are great, and the beach is not too busy (there are restaurants with tables on the beach just up a bit). Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a spectacular resort with brilliant service and food selection.
The only downside was a lack of activities for our 10 & 11 year old kids that were also traveling with us. Anything to keep them occupied was at an additional cost whereas the Four Seasons (also a 5-star resort) included activities as part of the service.
The kids club activities were geared to little kids (up to 7/8 max) and even some of the activities within there were at additional cost!
The library had no appropriate books or films so was difficult to keep kids entertained besides the pools.
Having said all the above though, loved the resort and its adult facilities.

Spectacular resort with great service. Nice location right on the beach and very nice pool. Decent selection is cuisines for dining choices. Large rooms and comfy beds.

Tim Owens (02/04/2017 07:02)
I love the service here. The rooms could use a face-lift but the beautiful grounds and accommodating staff make up for it.

Fantastic hotel and beach front property. I would highly recommend watching the sun-set from the properties beach-side bar.

Had a short but great stay at the Intercontinental in a Club Room. Included assistance with immigration at Denpasar and transfer to the home. Room looks directly out over main water feature in the centre of the hotel. Will definitely stay longer on next visit.

I spent 3days in this resort. What an amazing place, beach and staff. First time, I got room with two floors, but I had changed only in a floor. More bigger and garden view! I walked around the resort, what a big resort and many pools 😍 I'll come back again one day, promise💙 so thankyou Intercon.

Rob Jeffrey (08/11/2016 12:04)
I had the most amazing stay at the Intercontinental. The staff (as with most Balinese people) are very friendly and welcoming. The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. Our room faced toward the centre of the hotel complex and each morning I would look out to swans in the stream and lizards soaking up the sun on the rocks. Their is a great pool with a poolside bar, lush green lawns and obviously a wonderful beach which is groomed daily by two cows towing a rake (nobody wants bumpy sand). The hotel has amazing restaurants but is also flanked by many beach side restaurants with more traditional food for great value. The hotel obviously isn't cheap but the facilities and service you receive is first class and good value.

Great resort. I stayed in a Club room. My experience was amazing. The food was to die for, the view from the club pool was breath taking, the unlimited drinks deal that comes with the club rooms was great, the club breakfast was incredible and the staff are so nice.

When you wake up and walk down to breakfast, there is relaxing traditional Balinese music. The gardens are beautiful and atmosphere is relaxing. In InterContinental Bail, you are truly in paradise.

I have been to muiltple other hotels and resorts in Bali, but none have been able to beat InterContinental Bali. If you have the money, stay at InterContinental, best resort in Bali (In my opinion).

André Siqueira (05/09/2016 11:45)
Although I would not say the beach is great there, the sunset is unbelievable!
The hotel structure and service are extremely good. No bad things to say!

The Staff and Service here was fantastic. My husband had to be rushed to
Hospital on the day of our departure. Our butler and driver stayed with us
the entire day and then brought me back to the resort after my Husband was admitted. The Staff and Management were very kind and caring over the next four days and this is what made me cope so much better with my Husbands illness. The Resort is beautiful and tranquil with many features
that please the eye. The service was superb, the rooms very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and will return to this beautiful Country and Resort.

I've stayed at this resort twice, the first time in 2004 then in 2007 loved it in every sense! The staff were excellent, the breakfast a real feast and the facilities well cared for and meticulously kept! If you're looking for a relaxing stay within stunning settings look no further it truly is amazing! Thanks for your brilliant hospitality can't wait to visit again :)

This is the best place to stay in Bali for sure.
Beautiful sunset, clean pools, stylish rooms, good stuffs, everything's fine!

Michael Chang (31/12/2015 11:02)
This is one of the best resort I have been to. The setting is probably the best in Bali, fronting Jambaran beach facing west with glorious sunset everyday. The landscape is beautiful and relaxing with plenty of pools. Although the property is 22 years old, it's very well maintained. The restaurants offers Balinese, international, grill, and Italian of very high quality. The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. Looking forward to go back soon.

The InterContinental Bali Resort would have to be the best place to stay in Bali by far. If you are looking for a luxury resort in a great location on the beach look no further. We stayed in a club room which was spacious and furnished beautifully. The restaurants are excellent and service is something you could only wish for in Australia. We have rebooked and will be staying there again shortly. Wita Handayani in reservation look after our every need and we can't wait until we return.
