329 steps down the cliff.. you will amazed with the beautiful water.
Its very nature, and unoperated with any company. There is no toilet, and food.
Be prepare for your own towel/mat/sunbed, water and light food.

Cool little beach spot. Away from the main crowds so no too many sellers, just a few
Insisting ones. Good workout to go up and down the steps. Small cave.

Beautiful hidden beach, the local ladies will keep approaching you to sell the bracelet and sarong, just kindly reject with smile and they are ok. When you reach down to the beach, there are ppl offering massages service under the rock. The beach are clean and sands are so fine. Lesser crowd and quiet, good place to relax and chill, bring along water and food but beware of monkey

A hidden beautiful white sand beach. Clean and less crowded. No shops around

Just awsome. Its one of the hidden beaches in Bali. So you will hardly see people there

Quite place and very clean. Once you’ve conquered the hundreds of steps down to the beach you will be see the beautiful beach with white sand.

Beautiful beach, but you need to go down a long set of stairs, and going back up is a challenge. Those stairs are evil, I tell you! Many surfers also come here because the wave is nice.

This beach is one of the hidden paradise in Bali. It's located near Pandawa beach. You have to walk down the stairs for about 300 meters. The beach is very beautiful, with its cliff and small cave. The sand is white and clean, also the wave is fairly huge. This beach is a paradise for surfers. You can also swim and play near the shore.

Beautiful beach! White sand and amazing sunset. There is quiet a few stairs going down, making you sweat in the hot and humid weather. But maybe because of that there is only a few tourists. There are local women trying to sell overpriced bracelets and they are extremely pushy, more then any other "street sellers" that I have ever encountered in Bali. There is a large cave too, perfect to get some shade. One of my favorite beaches in whole Bali!

Nice little beach with a fair amount of stairs to walk if you want to check it out. Small fee to get in like everywhere here. Not overly clean but still a good view and great breeze. Little shop nearby to get a cold coconut and cool down after the trek.

Gr8, long climb down for the beach and up. Small about 50 meter beach but good for surfers. Secluded with minimal crowd. Make sure you carry your food and water to the beach. Only 3 stalls/warning serve a bite at the top of cliff.

A beautiful, secluded little beach that requires a little effort to reach. You must descend an impressive amount of stairs to reach the beach, but are rewarded with beautiful blue water, big waves, and 2 big shady caves to hang out in while not swimming (no umbrellas needed). The waves are big but still swimmable.
The beach is smaller but not TOO crowded. There are also a few locals trying to sell stuff.
fardhani binarsanti (01/09/2017 13:21)
The view is amazing, not too crowd. You can't really swim here though because of the corals. The challenge is, you nees to go down on hundreds of stairs to reach the beach and climb hundreds of stairs to go back to your parking car. But it is worth it.

A "secret" beach free from the sunbathing hordes. Perfect for people who want to explore Bali's beauty. At low tide, you're able to see numerous sea creatures in the coral tide pools. The waters are tinged green, hence the name. The cliff presents an impressive and picturesque silhouette for photographs. Be warned that this beach is rather low traffic so it is difficult to catch a taxi out of here. The beach is accessed via a staircase which could be difficult for small children or elderly to scale. The view is definitely worth the effort though!

Such a beautiful beach in Bali. There's an entrance fee into the parking lot and quite some stairs to climb but definitely worth the visit! Go when it's low tide though, or else it'd be kinda tricky to walk around the tiny beach with waves crashing into you left and right. Sadly, it's an emerging tourist spot, so there are increasing crowds for sure. I also would NOT recommend it to anyone who has low blood pressure/difficulty walking.
Kevin Colyer (25/06/2017 03:44)
Great place to sit on the beach or enjoy the tidal pools at low tide. Not a great beach for swimming...the seabed is rocky and covered with live coral like most of south Kuta beaches. For such a small beach that is somewhat difficult to access there are a surprising number of trinket vendors pushing various wares. The parking lot / entrance is home ro many monkeys that are very entertaining but will grab any bags you are carrying so be careful.

Unique beach with huge rocks and caves, which make for cool photos. The stairs are a challenge, but the views are helpful distractions during the climb.
There were macaque monkeys in the parking area and along the stairs. More cool photos.
The only downside to this beach trip was the incessant salesforce of local women pushing beads and sarongs. It was difficult to relax while they shadowed tourists and essentially begged for purchases.

Good one! But stairs are a big problem, around 300 stairs!! People who have heart and bad physical condition should think twice:)
Hayley Andrews (15/04/2017 17:51)
The 330 step journey is worth it for this beautiful beach. I think lots of surfers go here but they are far out and don't interrupt having a swim. Take your own food and a sarong or towel to lie on. Beware of monkeys at the top of the steps.
Treacia Tj (13/04/2017 12:09)
Nice beach but... if you never exercise, going down is the easy part. Going up those stairway ...well good luck... pain all over your thigh the next day 😢
priyo pratomo (14/03/2017 09:05)
Not many locals know this secluded beach. Not even our rent car driver.
You need to take steep stone stair to get to the beach.
Pristine beach with only 1 or 2 food seller.
Worth visit for those who are looking for quiet and clean sandy beach.

Search Green Bowl beach on Google maps and follow the route, you'll reach easily. There's parking area for car. Walk down the stairs....a lot! Then you'll arrive at the attraction.
So beautiful....if you come in the tide time, or if the wave is big enough then you must wait the wave back to the sea before you walk down to the cave, be careful....
Going back to parking area need some effort....but it worthy....

beautiful beach and has a natural landscape, road to the beach you will meet a lot of wild monkeys. the beach is clean and there are no cafes like the other beaches in Bali, and there is a large cave that can be used for shelter. to reach this beach, you have to descend the stairs, fairly exhausting
Derek York (15/01/2017 11:15)
Cool beach. The walk down wasn't that bad. Have to go at low tide however. And there were some annoying ladies on the beach trying to sell us stuff.
Veronica Deby T (13/01/2017 08:01)
It was very tiring to go downstairs and upstairs. I highly recommend to bring some food and water. But it has paid off! Very beautiful beach, the sand, the ocean. A lil bit crowded.
Peh Shin Tan (09/11/2016 12:00)
The view is great, sea water is very clear and the beach is clean because there is not much crowd here. There are a few caves along the beach where you can rest under the shade of the cave to avoid sun heat.
To access the beach, you have to walk down roughly 330 step of stairs. To walk back up when leaving the beach can be a challenge for some people. This could be partly contribute to the low number of visitors.
Aurélie K (20/09/2016 01:30)
Nice quiet beach. Beware if you come with a taxi, get off the car before the last turn if you don't want to be charged extra fees for the car.
Adrián Lara Moreno (15/09/2016 16:24)
Awesome and not crowded beach, reamky clean water and cool place to snorkel as well. It upset me that you need to pay entrance and the beach is not even clean. Bring some water for climbing up the stairs on the way back :)
Elisabeth Bauer (14/09/2016 08:14)
Beautiful, but you have to walk so many stairs down. But it's a lovely walk down through the forest, with a great view of the sea and the monkeys too.
Irene Susianto (08/09/2016 09:40)
Amazing place. Very beautiful and clean beach. You have to go down a few hundreds stairs to fond the beach, but it ia worth the effort.
Zsolt Bakó (14/06/2016 05:06)
The most amazing beach I have found in Bali! It's not the easiest for swimming, but still suitable and the view is beautiful
Abhishek Rathore (07/06/2016 07:03)
Nice Beach. But lot of Stairs down to beach. So not a easy way while coming back.
Alang Alamsyah (06/04/2016 06:12)
Bakal puyeng takendol-kendol dah sepulang dari sini. Mata mijer kunang-kunang. Tangganya ebuset.
Pantai kecil tapi menyenangkan. Kalau sudah sorean bakal adem. Karena matahari terhalang pohon dan tebing. Saya suka. Tapi bulenya malah geseran mulu kayak bekicot ngejar sisa-sisa matahari yang masih nempel di pasir.
Griksa Gunadarma (03/03/2016 02:36)
Beautiful beach, but you cannot swimming in there. The name of Green Bowl comes from green alga/sea grass. Just stay away from monkey, and protect your little shining things like glasses, hat, or snack
Ocha Sidabutar (25/01/2016 06:15)
You will have to walk down the stairs and if you're lucky you will be greeted by some monkeys. Haha
The water is green and clear and I love to dive here. Bring some food and water so you'll have energy to get back.. hihi
