The hotel is located on the sea shore. Very convenient if you want to go to kuta beach. The location is in a prime spot with a lot of traffic but still it is very quiet inside. The only problem is that the hotel looks a little old and needs renovation.

this hotel is in great position. staff are fantastic. rooms under renovation, pool big & more importantly, always clean. swim up pool bar. host Endra always ready to please. after 28 years can't see us going anywhere else. highly recommend.

Hidden topical oasis with room for improvement.
Watching the squirrels running around the massive tree eating was good to watch every morning. Also the fish feeding was a good touch especially for children. The staff were all so polite and friendly, they really make you feel welcome.
Their only let down and a big one at that was the food. Breakfast consists of dinner leftover and the room service was small, cold and definitely not worth the price, we should of gone to McDonald's up the road instead. Would of been nice to be warned of roof construction before arrival due to being in a moon boot but only complaints we had.

The resort hotel is right in front of Kuta Beach. One just has to cross the road In front of the hotel and you are on the beach. Nice swimming pool and restaurant facing the road towards the beach. You have a mini Mart convenience store in a walking distance on both sides of the hotel. Beach walk mall is right next to it. Overall prime location however the property seems little old as compared to their new cousin's like Pullman and Sheraton etc

Good place to stay. Old property so everything seems dusty and weak like the doors, bathroom, pool etc. The spa was good. Location is really good as it very close to the beach.

It's near kuta beach and airport. It's reachable if you go somewhere else.The facility is good.

Nice Hotel with fantastic and lot of breakfast variety. Nice pool along the restaurant and bar. Beach is just few seconds walk across the road. Nice place.

Nice hotel. Right in the heart of kuta. Beach is right across the street. Good live music, lovely restaurant. Food though was not up to the mark. Decent rooms and room service. Super cool pool area with a bar. Overall, good place to stay and superb location.

This hotel is old but still holds it's glory, being aesthetically located besides the Kuta Beach, Bali Indonesia. Price is reasonable, the service is good. The large hotel decorated with various plants makes it very soothing. The pool is nice and there is poolside bar where there is happy hour to save you some money!! Overall it's a good stay at this price. Environment is also nice.

This place is perfectly situated in kuta and has a great pool and a decent breakfast buffet. Staff is friendly. However the interior of the rooms are old and dated. Definitely not to 4 star status

One of the most incredible hotels I have stayed at. Rooms are very clean, staff is amazing, restaurant is reasonably priced and has delicious food with live music nightly, and it is literally access the street from Kuta Beach! I loved it here!

It is one of the best locations for family vacation goers. Nice staff. Good cleanliness. Choice restaurents in walking distance. Busy beach right in front. Popular shopping area close by. Staying at this hotel was good experience.

Most amazing and friendly staff. Always greeting with a smile and engaging conversation. The manager even accompanied my wife and I with a security guard to a money changer to recover some currency that we were short changed. Facilities and outdoor bar was incredible with the most amazing vibe. Highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel right by the beach. Great staff, an all perfect. Only missed a gym, but further all is just enough clean and great 👍👍

Location is excellent across road from beach. Room is adequate without being good. Balcony overlooks other rooms and only has bench seat not table and couple of chairs. Toilet crammed in and leaking. Safe not secured. Back unit block Noisy from business behind. Pool, bar and breakfast very good. More chairs and shade required however.

Would give the hotel 4 out of 5 stars. Cheap, decent rooms, nice people, nice pool, good bar and restaurant.
However they allow taxi drivers to be standing at the hotel - and they will drive you nuts!!!!
Taxi sir? Transport maybe? Maybe later? I'll take you somewhere later?
Even with nice responses they don't stop. After a 3 minute walk at the street and going back in the same taxi driver will go aggressive on you again. No chill.
Really not acceptable. If I wanted a taxi I would ask in reception or find one on the street.

Located just across the road from Kuta Beach. The hotel did showed its age but the surrounding was not noisy, staffs was friendly and the room was big and clean. The hot water was a bit hit and miss though, sometime it was cold and sometime it was scalding hot. Overall it was a good place to stay for a short trip with great location near the popular beach.

Mesmerizing... Apart from being 5 meters away from the beach, this hotel is conveniently located amidst all nightlife and popular tourist spots. The Beachwalk mall, which is located across the road to this hotel, is a haven to spend your lazy afternoons in. It has a wide selection of top stores and the food court is heavenly.
Now, back to the hotel. The hotel's premises are picturesque and it is built in traditional Balinese style with polished wood. Rooms are quite good and have splendid views alongwith a spacious balcony. Room service would be rated a 4 out of 5. The restaurant has a massive multicuisinal breakfast spread that is sure to fill you up for the rest if the day... the seating arrangements outside are a good place to relax in. The hotel's best element, however, is its swimming pool. It is maintained very well with crystal clear water, and a swim-up bar too. One may want to spend eternity in this pool.
Overall, this is an outstanding hotel that I would recommend if you want to be near the beach and near the heart of the city.

Overall it's a get what you pay for hotel, I'd read mixed reviews and also have mixed feelings 2 days into my 5 day stay. It could be a lot better if they picked up on the little things. A/c above a metal framed mirror, rusty drippings that aren't cleaned on the room clean. Cups with stained saucers. Breakfast is decent enough but seems to have peaks and troughs. Get there at the wrong time and you'll be left feeling it's inadequate. Food in the restaurant is good, but service could improve at quiet times. Water pressure in the shower sucks too!

This is an older Hotel so when I booked my week holiday I took price over luxury. However, I very much enjoyed my stay at the Istana Rama Hotel. The room was clean and did not have that musty smell usually associated with Bali Hotels. The bed was comfortable and the room serviced every day. There is a lovely ambience, especially around the pool.

Good spot to stay. There is a large pool and it is right by the Beachwalk mall. It's a bit run down but it's worth the price you pay.

The rooms are great, very spacious, the location is excellent. The bar slash restaurant has live music and great arrangement. The mall is very close and the beach is right infront of the hotel. The place is excellent against your budget. Highly recommended

Really lovely hotel and most of time really quite and relaxing. The staffs are really good and friendly. The atmosphere is like a big temple in to the jungle but in middle of kutaJust make sure that is not any event because can be quite busy.

The rate is quite reasonable for its strategic location.
The pool is quite nice and they have a terrace bar that opens until very late at night (maybe 24h?)
But I was quite upset with the check out service. I haven't checked out and it was still around 9 with me in the bath tub when a roomboy knocked and going inside although I have shouted "Saya sedang mandi!". That was quite upsetting.

For those are in budget, this hotel is highly recommended. The price are very reasonable and it is located at the strategy location - just cross the road for beach.
