Superb. The best steakhouse experience I’ve ever had.

Dinner at Fire. Disappointing experience after reading the previous reviews. Too expensive, over rated, service wasnt that great. When leaving the too windy and empty restaurant we tried to get a taxi. The lobby was more or less empty but the “concierge” had difficulties getting a taxi and was incredibly arrogant. Living in Indonesia for 8 years I hv never experienced this attitude/behavior (and this is a 5 star hotel?!) .. in short: Try another hotel/restaurant

Great steaks, lovely space and exceptional service from Rai and the staff here!! We got the kawami grain fed wagyu with 9+ marbling (200g at ~$130). Expensive but so good! The meat is really tender and melts in your mouth. My only gripe was that the steak’s doneness wasn’t perfectly even throughout the steak with the outer parts more done than the inner portion, and the “crust” of the steak was just slightly over cooked. The meat came with a special platter of Himalayan rock salt and Tasmanian black pepper which the staff will grate over your plate for you. For drinks since we didn’t want any alcohol, Rai recommended LOL (lychee, orange and lime with soda water), sounds normal but it was quite refreshing! Desserts wise: their signature chocolate sphere is nice, very rich and heavy, but not recommended after a heavy meal. Try their green tea panna cotta, it’s light on the palette and not too sweet, which I personally prefer! Got surprised by my partner with a birthday cake, and they came over with singing and a really yummy slice of chocolate cake! :) thank you!

Service was exceptional, when the staff had time to see you. Considering the price of a mid-tier steak is almost double that in the flashiest Australian restaurant - you would have expected it to be cooked the first time around. When the said steak returned, it had been double-salted and double-grilled, so my AUD$75 porterhouse was now a solid medium, rather than med-rare. And the salt level was over the top, so much so, I needed a glass of water right after to help get the ocean taste out.

The wagyu striploin was dope. That grade 7+ was grilled to perfection and taste amazing. So thick yet still 'crispy' on the outside and very very tender on the inside. I've been to many top class steakhouse but I gotta say that it was one of (if not, the) best piece of steak I hv ever eaten. Compliment to the chef.. Service was top notch and ambience was very nice.

With-out doubt a very lavish venue "W hotel in general", and looks stunning at night with all the dim lights. But not so happy with the food specially given the price in FIRE @ W hotel.
Staff are friendly and nice no complaints there.
We ordered a basic meal which cost us 707,850 raphia = 71 AUD. for 2 "that's pretty expensive for bali"
The Food:
Veggie juice + mango Juice = 45,000 rph each was ok.
water 760ml = 7,500 rph
Javanese yellow curry = 240,000 rah that's $24 AUD for that price we were expecting something amazing really disappointed with the food. we had better curry which cost us 55,000 to 65,000 and taste way better. sorry guys that's just not acceptable for a place of your stature!!!
w parmesan potato Gnocchi = 180,000 rph came Over cooked+ additional olives ( not specified in the menu) and no asparagus and no parmesan as mentioned. I really don't like olives guys!!! so politely told the waiter that i not a big fan of olives but heard they were really good for you. and told her about the missing ingredients. I thought she would take it back but instead she bought a side of parmesan and asparagus.
from my experience if you are missing some of the ingredients you would do it again???? i doubt any place would just give you side of missing stuff and be like, there you can mix it !!! bad practice specially for such a high end place.
my recommendation to you guys: if you don't think you can do it well "DONT do IT" you are only inviting negative reviews to such a beautiful place.
