This is a review of the restaurant of blue point overlooking the sea. Nice sunset view. Delicious milkshake. Just below (or beside it) there’s another bar called single finn which seems more crowded

This is a hotel which occasionally holds weddings and wedding photoshoots. Or maybe a wedding venue which occasionally takes guests, I'm not sure. All I know is that there is s non-stop parade of brides and grooms waiting to take pics at the pool (which is the coolest feature of the hotel). Today we had to LEAVE the pool because of a wedding party. Bummer.
The room is pretty cool (at least the one we got) and appears to have been renovated recently. There was music close to the room (out of the hotel) all night and you just can't make the room dark enough even with the blackout curtains. Restaurant is ok but pricey compared to other locations in Bali ee visited on this trip. Of interest to the surfing community Blue Point Beach is really close.

A run down room with huge crowd of tourists mainly from China. Service is mediocre, and the security guard is just too damn rude!
budiawan sihotang (04/03/2018 14:45)
it is necessary to upgrade the service as it is very difficult to transport only local transportation while the technology is sophisticated and those who work near the hotel area refuse to accept taxis Online, for example like uber and they charge quite a bit for tourists who want to use transportation out of the area of the hotel and the beach, just like the transparent mafia be careful for tourists if you want go to there!!

Not a good Hotel at all. the View is Great but that's all. There are busses of Day Tourists that come to the pool and taking pictures. Plus there are handful of wedding Photoshootings at the pool. So no relaxing at all. The Rooms are run down.
We left at our first day!! There are no restaurants or beach in walking distance.

BED BUGS! LOUD MUSIC! TOOTHLESS and UNEXPERIENCED BABYSITTER!
We have had an awful night in our room! We have booked the deluxe room for us and our baby. The room is right next to Ulu cliff house and the beats pounded until midnight. Not to mention there are bed bugs in our bed. All three of us are covered in bites and were itching all night! We are absolutely shattered.
To make matters even worse, we asked the hotel to organise a baby sitter. I assumed it being a higher end hotel they would use a quality babysitting service. WRONG! A Balinese women off the street had been arranged (the type of person who would of gone through our possessions) She had no babysitting experience, no teeth, smelt, could barely speak English and tried to hussle us for more money.
We sent her packing fast as there was no way in hell we were going to let her care for our 9 month old.
The reception were barely apologetic and when confronted they just stood there.
I am so disappointed that the morning staff used such a poor service. And even more infuriated that the afternoon staff and security let this women into the hotel. She should of been atleast escorted to us and/or for us to come and collect her.
We would of much preferred the hotel were just honest and didn’t offer the service than to scoop so low!
We were so excited to stay here and have been utterly disappointed by the above issues.

The location is amazing and we got an upgrade to a villa and this was really special. 2 free drinks free breakfast alil more than we expected to pay but the location is beautiful. With a special someone I’m sure this is a place to remember.

Could be cleaner. Bottles in the bushes and trash wasn't picked up around the pool. Otherwise could've been perfect. beautiful views. Pool closes with weddings and they were booked on Saturday we went with 4-5 weddings. Book a villa with private pool to avoid being stuck without a pool.

The scene is okay but the resturant staff's atitude toward the costomer is so terrible. We had lunch here and it seems that we are the servant. So terrible!
Joe Sale (16/09/2017 10:32)
Lunch and swim package is excellent value. Great pool, average meal included but still well worth it for 180.000 IDR each.
Leila Luchtenberg (06/08/2017 12:49)
Good but old and could be cleaned better, specially the baths. Buses of chinese tourists that were not staying in the hotel would come just to take pictures of the edgeless pool and that was really uncomfortable + weddings. The food is also really bad. But the staff is friendly, the view is amazing so it was worth it.

Rooms were a little run down but access the the amazing pool, breakfast and views was totally worth it
Adalin A (11/07/2017 06:33)
We go there for sight seeing and waiting for sunset. We were charged Rp100,000 voucher per person to just get into the restaurant though we can redeem the voucher with foods and drinks.
As we do not stay in the hotel we can not get the access to the swimming pool just to take some pictures.
For drinks and foods only, better go to Single Fin restaurant which is just beside this property and offers better sunset view.
Recommended to stay in the hotel but not for casual visit.

Just stopped by to find process and exchange currency. Food menu looked great, around here food is always healthy. Decent rates, rooms are clean.

Sea view at restaurant and at swimming pool is nice. But the room is sucks. Zero Maintainance and should be refurbish. Good place to enjoy.

Nice View but if you arrive early morning. Therese prion will not available or they are sleeping
hicham elouarga (20/04/2017 04:59)
The best view of uluwatu. The problem is the rooms are not that good.
Andrew Hitchcock (21/03/2017 22:42)
Older rooms could do with a refurbish. Broken bathroom fixtures. Pool area was really nice. And good buffet breakfast

I've got many clients choose this place for their wedding ceromony, the view is very good.
Vanessa Lopes (06/01/2017 05:05)
Restaurant is great! The staff algo great.
Pool area could be amazing, but they accept a thousand day visitants. It becomes to noise and dirty.
The "deluxe room" wan not clean. Stained towels and pillows. There are gaps in the doors, a gecko get into our room and pooped all over the curtains.
I would not recommend this place for a long stay.
Kaleb Juliu (26/12/2016 22:18)
The view is amazing well worth it for the long drive
Gayle Cash (22/05/2016 03:06)
We were going to book this for our stay at Uluwatu, so glad I read the accommodation reviews & booked at Momo instead. It was tired, rundown, in severe need of a refurb, and we didn't even see the rooms! The only thing going for it is the view! Do yourself a favour, don't stay here
evy anggraeni (01/05/2016 23:00)
What good about this hotel is just the foods and the pool view. The bathroom was dirty and moldy, the towels wasnt even white anymore, there was one bottle of shampoo that came just a half full. The hotel looks a bit old and need a bit maintenance here and there. The phone didnt work and the staff isnt quick to help you with the luggage when you just come. Wifi didnt reach my room too. The good thing is that they speak good english. You cant get a taxi out from this hotel, all the transportation is by a rent car which is double the price of what you would pay by the taxi. I was ordering the car by 5am and the car was late, it was a whole mess. I wouldnt come there again nor to recommend this hotel.
Olle Ekberg (25/04/2016 03:36)
Do not spend your money here!
The "Deluxe" rooms are a disaster. Smells, mold in the shower, stained sheets, holes in walls and ceiling. Electrical sockets without outlets, just cables hanging out.
Sure, the view from the pool area, overlooking the waves is nice but the hotel its self is a disaster. Not worth it.
Would not recommend to anyone before they do a mayor renovation!

Nothing else

This is the best spot in the south edge of bali to chill. I have visited this place so many times just to chill and relax,, enjoying some cocktails with oceanic view from the pool. Food and beverage is excellent, affordable, the chapel is lovely, the scenery so stunning too. Another good thing from Blue Point too is from last month they hold a pool party every sunday start at 3PM-10PM,,, i got this info coz i saw their postcard invitations for public which is set in some display stand rack somewhere in sanur area. This postcard invitations offer 10% discount ,, what a cool thing? i came once for that party and so entertaining,, wish i could spend my time someday on sunday to re-join them.

Terrible... i dont mind paying a decent amount for a good room and when you pay AUD$130 you expect a certain level of cleanliness and quality.
We arrived on 07.08.15 with another couple for 1 night. Upon arrival we were extremely disappointed in our rooms. We were immediately greeted with the lovely smell of a deceased person. The floors, walls, roof (and most importantly the linen) were mouldy. I have never needed to before, but due to the condition of the rooms we went back to the concierge and asked to be moved to a clean room. They must've known the condition the rooms were in because they 'upgraded' us to a 2 bdr suite.
The suite wasn't great. The linen was stained and the pillows stunk. We got new pillows and they were better. Half the lights didnt work and the showers were mouldy with constantly leaking taps. It was much better then the deluxe rooms we started with but nowhere near worth the $300 a night price tag.
We checked out first thing the following morning.
The staff were pleasent to deal with and the breakfast was edible.
The best things about the resort; 1. Next to single fin (awesome), 2. Checking out in the morning, 3. Free WiFi.
