A restaurant with romantic setting at the end of Jimbaran beach close to the airport. Tables are placed far apart on the beach. Highly recommended for couples that fancy some quiet space for themselves. We ordered from the set menu. Food is amazing and fresh, portion is very generous. The picture below speaks for itself.

VERY Poor service and average food.
Restaurant was in a poor state and not well maintained.
They mixed up our orders and service was so slow I could have gone fishing my self. Had to wait nearly an hour to get water served.
Don't know how this place managed to get so many good reviews on Google.
To top it off they tell us that their credit card machine is not working and expected a group of 10 people to pay cash.
Could have told us this when we booked or even when we arrived.
Would not recommend this to anyone.

Staff service was extremely poor. There were no clean utensils provided (in fact, we had to take the clean utensils from the next table just to speed things up). The price paid for the dinner (2 sets of fish, prawns and squids, 2 bowls of clear soup, 2 tiny plates of fruits) were 1.5 times more expensive than dining in a 5 star hotel. If you stay at Seminyak area and you want to get to this place, be prepared to spend at least 1 hour and 20 minutes in a taxi to get there (1 way!!) as the traffic is extremely bad. This restaurant is not worth the time and money spent.

It was my first time and I really like that place. An awesome place with beautiful sea views, smart setup and very tidy. This restaurant is very highly recommended with good service. The food was very delicious

I went to Bawang Merah Beachfront restaurant for first time with my bestfriend and we loved it. We loved the decor, we loved the food, we loved the service, we loved the placed..
Grilled fish were amazing!
I will definitely be back!

Love it.. Perfect place right on the beach, very nice to have dinner by the beach watching the sunset 🌇 and the food is great, we had the seafood basket it was delicious.

Wouldn’t waste your time or money. Overpriced, three meat menu items not available making it difficult for those that dont eat seafood. Overall very disappointing experience.

Amazing food and great dining experience right at the beach front. Very fresh seafood and relaxing atmosphere! I would definitely come back here next time we visit Bali!

Unfortunately it was raining earlier and they had moved all tables under the veranda. Here is was hot. Should put some fans. The food was average as you would find anywhere in Bali. The sunset, well, this can be seen anywhere along the west coast.
The scenery was nice, there is a jetty nearby. The beach was ok but could use a bit more cleaning up. They did provide a cultural show during the dinner which was nice.

Food taste is average. But the view is nice. You can arrange a romantic dinner here on the beach. Lights from the boat makes it more interesting.
I will give 5rating when you can provide us a good wifi 😉👌

Beautiful lunch at Bawang Merah Beachfront Rest. Stunning vuews of the beach and it will be more beautiful during the sunset, the water was calm and the beach was so clean.

We had a romantic honeymoon dinner here. The food was very good and cooked perfectly, and the sunset setting with a table on the sand was nice. However, the restaurant could have been in better shape for the price paid, as it offered no ambiance and was in fact somewhat run down. For example, the bathrooms were in bad shape considering the €150 pricetag for a romantic dinner for two.

Very nice husband/wife owners! Smart business-folk. They offered to send a driver a far distance to pick us up if we promised to spend a minimal amount of money (which we gladly exceeded by a great deal). It sounded reasonable to us so we agreed. And when their usual driver unexpectedly became unavailable, the owner's themselves came and got us! AMAZING service!!!!! Their wait staff was incredibly attentive without being intrusive and the food was easily a notch above the other larger Jimbaran sunset restaurant. The presentation was at least TWO notches above it as well. At the end of a long and lovely evening, we were returned to our villa full, happy and blown away by the experience. Pick THIS place if looking for great seafood near Jimbaran Bay at sunset or anytime. They deserve the business..

This was the best place for the best meal of our holiday. Seafood and fish were beautifully fresh and cooked superbly. Highly recommend especially for a special dinner.

Found the place by chance, but happy that we did. Price wise it's on the cheaper side. Food was delicious and service was good. They even have a Balinese dance to entertain you while eating. Wish it wasn't raining and we can sit outside by the beach and not on the patio.

Honestly i love the place here. Sunset is really beautiful and the food is nice. They also performed balinese dance and i love to see Bali's traditional dances. But i would love to see if the staffs are kind and welcome us well. Overall it was really a great and romantic dinner i've ever experienced! I will come here again

This is dining at this best. Superb food and service. It doesn't get any better than this and we love it. It's a brilliant restaurant and we cannot fault it. Meals are always intresting, staff very attentive. It was our second time came to this place and we recommended, for traveller who came to Bali.

Close to the airport. I wasn't entirely satisfied with my grilled fish. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it definitely wasn't as fresh as I expected it to be. The location is great though.

Absolute horrendous service. Driver is late due to traffic, driver came around earlier cannot find my place. Take taxi here please. Which is the excuse? Even this simple arrangement cannot be sorted out I cannot imagine your resturant services.
I could make my own way to the resturant if you have been straight on the arrangements instead of keeping me waiting.

I had tried to hunt for the best seafood in Bali and since the review for this restaurant is so good, I had decided to give it a try.
Upon arrival, the restaurant looks deserted with just one couple in it at around 6.30pm. We are greeted by a row of empty glass fish tanks that already makes me feels uncomfortable.
We sat outside the restaurant by the beach but under the shelter and ordered the lobster package that comes with a snapper, KING PRAWNS , 2 lobsters, a few clams and calamari.
To my disappointment, the sea food really not up to the bare minimum standard. Lobster taste like frozen and over cooked and trying to cover up with sauce. Why I highlighted King prawn is because it is the mini size of King prawn and over cooked. Snapper is fresh but not enough spice and seasoning to bring out the flavor.
The only things I like were the avocado drink and the calamari, what a shame!
In summary, if you are looking for nice and fresh seafood, this will not be the place for you. I should have listened to my driver to bring me more choices in Jimbaran.

Delicious seafood at a pleasant and relaxed restaurant. Beautiful scenery, friendly service, gracious Balinese dancers. Fish cooked perfectly. We had a great night out on the beach.

Unfortunately ... My fiancé and I were very dissapointed on this occasion , we booked online thinking we "would" have had an experience in the busy candlelit beach front seafood restaurant .. We were sadly miss informed ...(as we looked over to the "busy seafood candlelit restaurants)!!!! Yes it was beach front "near airport" Yes we had seafood .. "Lobster taste like rubber boot " 3 prawns "rubber boot " tiny fish "app red snapper " very nice !!! 1 jimbeam at 15ml ..... Not correct measure at $9:50 a glass .. After telling non English speaking "crew" not just one staff member "but ALL ... And then the $150 bill at the end ... Bad experience .... 😞.

Staff are thieves. Left our camera they confirmed by email they had it. When we went to collect we were told they had sent it to head office. On contact with them they knew nothing about it. Next day Manager had left !!!!! Expensive food and thieving staff. Find somewhere else.

Nice scenery and useful place near the airport. Fire dance performance is also good. Cuisines are little bit overpriced compared to Bali's rate
