We just finished our romantic catamaran evening cruise.... Only one couple. We cruised, dined and we were treated like king and queen...Perfect in every way. Amazing crew.

We took a day cruise with this company to Lembongan island and it might have been more fun if we were senior citizens, because that is who they cater to. There are also many many Chinese people who take this tour, so they separated us at lunchtime and said we (non-Chinese people) were not allowed to eat on the Chinese side. We saw activities advertised like kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, and stand-up-paddle boarding so we thought it would be a very active day. All of these events take place within a small sectioned off area and for the snorkel/scuba the visibility was maybe 5ft... and there was nothing there. The tour required that we pay extra to scuba dive and we were glad we didn't pay after seeing how small the area was, where they were limited to swim. We tried to take SUP boards out and then were told we had to stay in a small area right in front of this resort on the island. We felt trapped on an island with nothing to do, so we just slept on chairs by the pool. The chairs next to the water are reserved for the senior citizens' tour group and there's nowhere to sit on the beach because the water hits the wall separating the top chairs from the bottom beach. On the boat ride there and back, many people also got very seasick, throwing up the whole ride. As soon as we got on the boat I asked for a cup of tea, which we were told was provided to us on the boat... And the man at the counter said they were closed. I then asked a woman behind the counter for tea and it took her 15 seconds to get it for me. So I didn't appreciate the poor service from the first gentleman behind the counter, especially given the exorbitant price we paid for this trip. Next time, we'll just take a fast boat to Lembongan and see the island for ourselves. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

Absolute rip off! You go up and down the docks/harbour over and over again, nothing to see but supply, ships and oil tankers.
Pick up, Staff and boat were excellent.
We were unfortunately on a trip with a very very large group of Indians. As we were the only white people on the boat we were racially abused on several occasions. Being pushed and told to move (Not asked! told).
We should have been told that we would be joining a very large family group.
The food was not Balinese food as we have eaten before it was predominantly curry and curry and curry. Tried desert but all gone!!! You have to pay for drinks. Never, never again, avoid.

Cruise experience was good, lot of activity perform here. I am selected reef cruise.
People done scuba diving and snorkling both.
Both have good for activity and also experienced by us. For scuba trainer with us and 1st they guide us after that diving done, for whole activity of diving give 1 hour. Unlimited banana boat ride & slide here.
Food also available on it. Team of Bali hai cruises are too good they are cooperative and helpful for whole thing and also polite in nature as per my experience. If anybody vegetarian please book lunch with cruise booking. Travel journey of cruise 1 hr for go and same time for come.

The cruise is lively and food is good.. you can have good time with your partner there..

Booked a cruise to the pontoon in Lembogan for a "full day" of fun but was unable to do ANY of the activities due to issues with arrival/depature times. The Sales Manager has refused to respond to my email outlining the situation and request for compensation after paying well over $300 AU. VERY disappointing.

The village tour was not a tour, lunch was very ordinary (warm salad, cold BBQ), there was no afternoon tea provided despite this being advertised in the bochure. And poor communication by Bali Hai staff.

Michelle Krine (13/09/2017 02:43)
My husband and I went on the reef cruise, and while we definitely enjoyed our time, we found that because the pontoon is anchored quite a way off the shore, it is a little difficult to enjoy the snorkeling to see any fish or marine life up close as it is quite deep. The optional extras are very reasonably priced, and include parasailing and scuba diving. We did a trip over to the island which is simply beautiful. We weren't told that you were to bring your own towels, which we thankfully did anyway. They are available for rent, but I found this pricey. The buffet lunch is plentiful and filling with an option for everyone. We enjoyed our day but would choose to do the beach club next time.

Love all activities at Bali Hai Cruise!
All staffs are so helpful and friendly, definitely come back here next time! And thanks for taking care of my daughter when we enjoyed 20 mins of Aquanauts!

price too high, lunch very good, local people not so much considered, they more serving the foreigner rather than the locals

Punctualy picked up from Anvaya Hotel by a pleasant and friendly driver. Warm welcome by Bali Hai Cruise. The onboard sundowner entertainment followed by buffet dinner and an excellent extravaganza whilst night sets in was awesome.

It's as expected from the brochure.. The pick up was on time, food was abundant with an ok quality and the activities are great.. A bit suggestion for you, dont forget to take your anti motion sickness pill, 2 hours cruising in the morning could take a toll from some people..

aditi agrawal (14/06/2017 06:55)
worth every penny. you will find this place surrounded by all the Indians. even in their menu you find plenty of Indian food. They serve nice drinks too. nice ambiance.

dhaval shah (13/06/2017 16:47)
Don't know about other cruise companies around. But this isn't among the better cruises I've been to.
Indian food was not good. Mutter paneer had no paneer. Chicken was chewy and a bit stale. Rice had no salt at all and dal had extra salt.
Despite that I give 3 stars because music was good and it sailed a long time for an evening cruise.

Beach Club Cruise - Sold as having a kids club starting at 11am with fun activities and games for the kids - when we got there this did not exist.
There was a face painting and treasure hunt after lunch that lasted about 20 minutes.
Lunch was very average..
Staff weren't helpful. We went out to drag in the banana boat as the staff member was not assisting and just told us where we should sit on it. Because of the breaking waves at the beach this just meant getting skittled onto the coral. I'd expect them to at least have helped given we had kids we were trying to load on.
I wouldn't do this again. Total rip-off for the price, which was unfortunate as the kids were looking forward to it - and described it as hell.

José Fernando Calcerrada (26/04/2017 08:25)
Did the reef cruise for 100 USD, don't think it's worth the money. Snorkeling was poor, banana ride was crap, I bet I can swim faster than that. Activities ended up before 15.00. I don't recommend it for that price.

Nicholas Deeks (14/04/2017 14:04)
I did Lembongan beach tour in 2009 and 2017, including snorkelling, banana boat, village tour, pool, and BBQ. All pretty much the same however a few things weren't as good this time. High tide and heavy swell made disembarking at Beach very dangerous, particularly for children and elderly. Village tour is now a tour to an empty block of land behind some dodgy shops since seaweed farming has ceased. BBQ was tasty except prawns were a bit green. Didn't get sick though. Boat trip was nice. Take precautions if you are susceptible to motion sickness

Best cruise in bali

Anuj Patel (28/01/2017 09:06)
Not at all professional. We had pick up from our hotel, they were not on time. We just kept calling and they just kept fooling us that driver is near by your hotel. They never showed up, I am still having booking receipt. Wasted my time and money. I could have plan something else.

Went on the 3 island ocean raft cruise and it was amazing! We were picked up from our hotel on time by a friendly driver and taken to the boat. There we were met by a lifeguard who helped us select our snorkeling gear and taught us how to use it. I had never gone snorkeling before so that was a big help. The crew on the boat were energetic, funny and created a great atmosphere on board. The ocean raft cruise is fun and is definitely for those who love speeding on the ocean and don't mind a few bumps on the way. Definitely one of the more adventurous cruises they have. You won't be bored! Totally worth the price

Went on the reef cruise. Turned out to be an excellent day. ~1h boot ride (with bar) to a pontoon to swim, snorkeling, scuba diving, banana boat ride, glass bottom boat and a island tour (somewhat boring though). The included buffet was OK, but not more.
Good prices in the bar and friendly stuff all around.

We did the sunset dinner cruise, after wanting to do the five course dinner cruise we were told it was sold out but the sunset cruise is the same so we thought ok but it was no where near ok.

We got picked up and dropped back that was fine however our van I wouldnt call what they claim it to be as new yes it had ac but def not new. Then we waiting around at the harbour for a long time were given a welcome drink - just some juice nothing to brag about, then after finally boaring late we were taken up the the top deck to sit on some uncomfortable seats if you want view (the view was nice to start with) then finally without warnings we could go down to the lower deck to eat.

The lower desk was very cramped and lines were long to eat the sub par food, I tried most things so to be unbiased but I could safely say I didnt enjoy anything but the curry that was ok. The bread rolls were stale and the chicken for the salad was too dry to eat, the potato gratin was a sloppy wet mess with no substance, the chicken main was very sweet and dry too and the fish fishy. The "dessert" was dissapointing with a couple of fruits and some little cake bites that tasted like nothing.

Then you come to the entertainment, the band who played at the start and the end were good I enjoyed them however the main preformance could have been enjoyed a bit better if the music was blaring so much it was screetching and giving us a headache we couldnt enjoy the out of time lip syncing performance to the terrible song choices - to be fair the performers were friendly and did try it was just the poor taste in music and the loudness that really ruined it.

The cocktail I got was so strong I couldnt even enjoy it, the only positive of this cruise that goes no where is the staff were always very friendly but for the price you pay it is no where near good value especailly when there is all the amazing food in bali you could be eating instead of this, please dont do it

Frank Saunders (18/02/2014 00:47)
We booked the Reef Cruise through the St Regis Hotel on Monday the 3rd of February 2014 , we did request the Ariscat Cruise for Thursday 6th of February. I was party to only to the conversation at my end, and now must assume in light of our experience today only the Reef Cruise was available.

The pick up at the St Regis this morning was on time and the trip to Benoa port was done efficiently, once we arrived at reception chaos reigned, we were given no instructions except to queue behind a line. There appeared to be staff in abundance, but only one person attending taking money.Any other direction was minimal.

On board the vessel again no direction was given the vessel was very crowded but we managed to find a table on the bridge deck set for three, but six people shared. The staff who were under extreme pressure kept smiling and we were able to enjoy coffee and muffins.Despite the being busy all the crew were always polite and most pleasant.

Now we come to the nub of our unhappy day. We are two aged gentlemen and this sort of cruise should not have been sold to us, the target market is young people, and families with children. We were unable because of our agility to join in the many activities on board, except for the submersed vessel.

Lunch was not very appetising, undercooked and cold. The behaviour of the young people sitting down for a meal was not acceptable they were so loud that I asked them to be quiet, they were in a dining room not a disco or beer hall. Would you believe the effort of a grumpy old man worked and they were silent and respectful for the rest of the meal.

Somebody from the crew should have done this for me.

In conclusion, the Reef Cruise experience is not suitable for we, of a certain age, and more publicity in your brochures should emphasise this.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to have my say I hope what I have written will be of use.
