The hotel is only beautiful from outside.. Rooms are not up to the mark. Bathroom is even worse. Food is OK. Breakfast is pathetic. Looks like they spend all their money beautifying the reception area and boardwalk.

Brilliant family holiday destination. The rooms are good, the cleanliness is well above normal Bali standard and the gardens and pools are fantastic. I particularly like the lounge which is very quiet and good for me to get a bit of work done. We will be back.

This hotel was great, The room we had was very spacious and very clean. The location is very central, next to the famous Waterbom park, next door to discovery mall and on the beach. The atmosphere is great and the gardens are very nice. But I warn you if you need wifi this may not be your best choice you can only get it in public areas and its still slow.

The swim up bar & beachside bar are great. Lots of food choices. Lovely gardens and water features. Overall good value for money.

if you prefer a quiet and relaxing hotel, and if you love gardens, bali garden beach resort is a perfect place to stay to. great food, nice staffs. neat and comfortable garden view rooms. squirrels on the trees. they also have villas, near restaurants and bars, 10-15 minutes walk to the mall.

I celebrated my Birthday here it was amazing. They were nice, the hotel has 3 beautiful swimming pools and one with a bar. The beach that its facing is just gorgeous! They were extremely courteous to have sent me a bouquet of flowers. And a cute note. Loved evrything about it.. ♥️

All-round good hotel. No wifi in rooms unless you pay extra but it is free in the public areas. Good quality service, excellent staff and delicious meals. Would also a couple more modern things in the room such as more power plugs, update bathroom however still a great hotel.

Nice place to stay. Has bar fridge (not stocked) & safe in room. Ensuite pretty good with bath, shower & no problems with the hot water temperature and flow.

The grounds are amazing. Lots of nature and cool balinese statues. The restaurant overlooking the beach is awesome. The rooms are okay but nice enough and how much time are you going to be spending in the rooms anyway? They have a really nice adult only pool and the hotel connects right to the boardwalk which is great because you can walk right down to the mall and along the boardwalk. The staff was very nice. I really enjoyed my week here. Met a lot of cool Australian people as well.

The hotel is older but very beautiful if you love nature and you can walk out to the beach. The buffet breakfast is really amazing esp considering I don't actually eat from buffets but there are fresh pancakes and an omelet stations.
There are many Australians here because it's so close. The staff is fantastic. Be sure to pay a little extra for an upgraded room and you do have to pay about 4 dollars a day for Wi-Fi. You couldn't ask for a more convenient hotel! Beautiful, the grounds are breathtaking and all around very lovely. It's isn't the most luxurious hotel, it doesn't have the contemporary western design many of the others do. It architecture, look and feel is very Indonesian and we loved that!

Was having a great time and would recommend this resort for close proximity beach ,shops and restaurants. Unfortunately I became very sick after a meal at the hotels Boardwalk restaurant.
That spoiled it for me!

An amazing hotel with fantastically helpful staff.
Great location just on the edge of Kuta beach, good for them hungover morning surfs.
My room was kept tidy everyday by the cleaners, they stocked it with fresh towels, soap and water and the aircon kept the room at a nice English summer temperature of 18 degrees.
Great selection of food and drink for breakfast like fresh fruit, bacon, eggs, cereals, freshly cooked pastries, and most importantly coffee.
Three nice and well maintained pools one with a swim up bar which can get very interesting after a couple of beers.

Had one week there and it was amazing. Loved the wide range of food in the included breakfast buffet. The staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything. The pools were exceptional with a swim up bar and one peaceful adults only pool. The extensive gardens and water features created a serene environment in an otherwise busy and bustling part of Kuta. The restaurants attached to the resort also provided us with our best dining experiences while in Bali.

Had one week there and had one of the best and easiest holidays. Would definetly recommend 10/10 to anyone considering staying there. We were a family of four who thoroughly enjoyed the food, cocktails, massages and very friendly staff. The highlight of the stay was easily the location as it was very close to the airport (yet heard no planes), shops and beaches. A quirky extra that the cleaners did each day was a shaped animal using towels each clean (every day). My family will definitely be booking our next holiday there!!

Nice place, next to Discovery Mall and in front of Water Park and most of all Kuta beach behind the hotel. No need to cross the road.

Nice location. To see the sea you have to walk a little from the resort. What I hated was no WIFI available in room. For WIFI in room it has to paid. Its a basic feature which is available in most of the hotels now.
Room is big enough. Decent breakfast.

We have stayed at Bali Garden several times and will never stay anywhere else. The location is amazing Waterbom park across the road, walking distance to Discovery Mall and Matahari not to mention the many shops and markets on the way. Great vicinity to catch one of the many boats out to the reef for surfing and no busy roads to cross to get to the beach.
Rooms are a good size and comfortable, we always pay the extra for a Deluxe Room with a balcony and facing the garden rater than the street. The bathrooms are a little dated but clean.
The Restaurants and bars are full of welcoming staff always smiling.
The Boardwalk Restaurant has the best food with first class service, be sure to ask after Kasdi our favourite waiter.
Tari Spa both inside and outdoors are amazing and so cheap.
The pool areas are all well looked after and I just love the one at the front near the ocean. There is nothing better than sitting watching the sun set on the comfy lounges out the front with a cocktail in hand.
Thank you Bali Garden for another great holiday and for the beautiful flowers delivered to our room for our Wedding Anniversary.

The place is really amazing. Ambience is so good, with all the squirrels and birds playing around their garden. The room is good too, very spacious. They also serve good buffet breakfast. The staff is nice and very accomodating.
The only setback is they don't have wifi in their rooms. You have to pay 50,000 rupiah per 24 hours, and it is not as fast as their wifi in their lobby.

Bargain. 3 pools. Beach. Great breakfast. Great room. Comfortable. Helpful staff. Bathroom was a good size and functional but needed updating. Good access to everything but quiet 👌👍

We are still in Bali Gardens as I post. Just love this place,our first time here at this resort, we will definitely be back next year. You can do as much or as little as you like, the boardwalk at the back of the resort is fantastic for meals looking out over the ocean, so peaceful. Shops and Waterbom park right on the doorstep. The only complaint we had was the beach towels need replacing .We will be sad leaving this place in three days time

This was our first time at this hotel, for my 65th birthday. The hotel management sent a lovely bouquet of flowers to our room for me, thank you for that. Discovery shopping mall is right next door. Very convenient. That's the good bits.
We arrived at 10.25 pm, hungry, and there was no-one available to convert currency for us. So we decided on room service - too bad, kitchens close at 10.30, so off to bed hungry.
The next morning we went to get towels for the pool and this is the first hotel we have stayed at in Bali where you have to pay a deposit for a towel - 50,000 rupiah. The girl in the shop stuck her nose into a conversation my husband I were having, and during this conversation she took 100,000 rupiah for our towels. When the conversation ended, she insisted she had not taken it so we had to pay again. We went out and bought our own towels.
The air conditioning in our room packed up after 3 days, so it had to be repaired. It packed up again 1 week later, and had to be repaired again. The ceiling in the bathroom had a huge stain, which was dripping water from the room above. We were offered another room, but with 3 or 4 days to go we could not be bothered packing, moving, unpacking and then packing to go.
There is virtually no service around the pool. If you want a drink or something to eat, most times you had to go looking for someone to place an order.
All in all, very unimpressive, considering it is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Will not return to this hotel for our next stay.

We just got back from Bali, we stayed at Bali gardens resort with my partner and our 9 month old baby. They are all very happy to accommodate any needs for you. The breakfast is awesome and the resort I'd something out of a movie.

This hotel was a bit of a let down. Kuta is a bit similar to Vegas or Atlantic City- lots of lights, people and noise. I did not like the area though it was a great overall experience.
The hotel is a bit of an oasis away from the chaos and craziness.
The room was a bit run down. I did not like the beach. The pool area was nice.

SMELLS OF SEWARGE VERY BAD .BREAKFAST VERY ORDINARY MEALS AT BOARDWALK OVER PRICED AND POOR QUALITY ESPICILY PRAWNS.JUNK. LOCATION EXCELLENT.STAFF EXCELLENT.SUMMING UP OVER PRICED FOR MOULDY OLD ROOM AND BUILDING IN NEED OF BIG MAKE OVER.WOULD NOT STAY AGAIN.GROSSLY OVER PRICED.

I'm torn on this review. I guess this hotel is a good value for the price? I chose Bali Garden for it's gorgeous traditional architecture and location directly on the beach. The garden, pool area, architecture and staff were quite amazing. The restaurants and buffet breakfast were really good! (Alcoholic drinks are super sweet and weak - but this is the case all over Kuta). The bathrooms just killed this place for me. Gross. The beach access is alright, but beaches are all totally covered in trash. Not Bali Garden's fault. But gross. Beaches all over Kuta, Legion, Seminyak and Jimbaran (the beaches we visited) are totally covered in trash that washes up from the ocean.
