Near the beach. Stinky, old bathroom and no hot water at all. Stains on bed linen and very worn towels. Nothing in common with "paradise".

If you're looking for cheap place next to the beach - this is the one for you (place rather for surfers). Located rather in the middle of nowhere, but there is a new market with ATM in A 1 km. No hot wather though :(

They don't allow Uber or Grab to come to this area, and walking out is impossible due to biting dogs on the neighbouring streets. Therefore you're forced to rent a bike or take really expensive taxis at the hotel.

Lovely friendly staff and close to the beach. The wifi wasn't accessible from my room, nor could I get any kind of internet/telephone signal. It's really out in the sticks and cost 400k (IDR) from the airport.

If I can give 0 as review I do it. The rooms are OK but there is a big problem here. They don't allow Uber, grab, go jek to go in this area. Since it is the farest in, closest to the beach you can't walk out of the area to grab a uber. You have to use their transport or you re stuck in there. For example from there to thee airport it cost you 300k whereas with Uber you can get it with 60-70k. Uber or grab drivers are scared of this gang because they threathen them or even hit their car.
We tried to use Uber or grab to get out of there and after 10attempts of drivers cancelling our request, we started walking with the backpacks. Then lucky us there was a bluebird taxi dropping someone. And after hiding in a corner so no one see the car, we agreed to use meter to go to nusa Dua beach. The driver was really scared of the locals. He kept saying that he s scared all the way.
Aparently this Uber thing is still new in Bali and in all towns there are these gangs (we be been nusa Dua, Kuta as well. But in balangan is the worst.
There's nothing to see here so not worth the hassle of going there. Beach is empty and not much tourists there.
If u can avoid this place.. we went because we didn't know how it is. Lucky we made it out without being ripped off.

Good location, front of Ballangan beach, simple rooms, but nice breakfast.

nice spot, BUT, the only way to get here is by taxi and then once you're here you're stuck! there seems to be some sort of gang controlling the taxis to get out and they will use intimidation and threatening behaviour to any outside transport that comes in. it's pretty disgusting behaviour, they're just trying to fleece tourists who have no other option.. better just to avoid the place altogether

Stay away from this place please !!! You can see from most other reviews that there is nothing but crooks and thieves here. This is the type of place that gives paradise a bad name and makes people regret traveling. A complete monopoly like controlled scam where once you enter this place they will not allow you an option to leave without paying their outrageous fees for poor service. Look elsewhere.

The location next to the beach is the only good thing. For indonesian standards, it's overpriced. The bathrooms are in bad condition. The showers are cold and don't really work and the toilet flush was broken.
I wouldn't recommend it at all.

NADA RECOMENDABLE.
They've a rental motorbike service, 60.000rp/day, but when you leave the motorbike there, they ask you 150.000rp for take you to your hotel, and the doesn't matter how many days you had the motorbike.
If you say them that they can give you a cheaper price, they laugh and don't pay you attention.
IS NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.
