Hotel on its own is fine. But we have came across the most arogant man receptionist we ever meet. Problem with system when we booked 2 rooms online for 4 people it automatically gave us 3 rooms and receptionist didn’t know what to do with it repeating that he dont know and giving us attitude like we bothering him . So i have to call manager who explained and told us that is system mistake. Receptionist after asked at laught at us . At the end of our stay we extended one extra night as location was close to airport been told by woman breakfast is included in price ( which days we paid before) when on way to breakfast following day man receptionist start questioning me “where is Your ticket? Where is Your ticket” i told him I dont have any and he said to me “Well You have to pay for it” ( which we did , paid every morning) His approach was horrible making me feel like I’m trying to steal breakfast. The way he said it left me upset so I put down my plate and simply left. Grabbed my luggage and was making my way out of there. He actually came to complain again that I left my bfast there. So I have said because of his attitude and he was rude again. They are all friendly and helpfull only when manager is around! Will not return to this place and will not recommend to people I know

We ended up this hotel because it was included in our offer from Corendon and surprisingly and despite we did not stay as many nights as we had booked, it was the best place where we have stayed in Bali. The room is big, the bed is really comfortable and it is really clean. The towels are changed everyday and the room as well. The breakfast has a lot of options, Indonesian and European style, so you can have noodles or rice and also toasts and pancakes, coffee, tea, fresh fruit... The staff is kind and helpful. The swimming pool is clean and super big and you can use it till 11 p.m. :)The

Unexpected oasis right within bustling Kuta's main dinning and shopping area. Calm and relaxing athmosfere where you maybe wasn't expecting, nice breakfast and beautiful swimming pool in the centre of an old baldness style house, square shapped with open space in the middle to have precisely what you want most: garden and swimming pool. Great cost/benefits relation. Worth a return although if other areas away like Sanur are more attractive than Kuta

Very close to the airport. Good to relax after a long flight. Nice pool. not so great service and limited options on menue. But its a great value for a low cost hotel.

A hotel with great potential but very poor standards and maintenance. Wonderful friendly courteous staff and beautiful setting. This is a photo of how poorly this hotel is being managed- dirty plates of food at the entrance to a Deluxe room.

Currently still staying here and have done for the last 7days...booking was made online and we emailed to make some changes which was not any form of hassle...yes it’s a budget hotel but great place to recharge and rest ur head from all the shopping eating and sightseeing..staff have been amazing always have clean towels and water everyday..location is great mall just down the road close to a good $$exchange place close to airport just overall a good place...first time to Bali n I’m very happy with my stay ...thank you

For the price I think it's a decent hotel, basic needs are provided: daily cleaning, new towels. Breakfast also quite basic, but will do for a start of the day. Location also quite good, situated in an alley of a big road, easy to find by the neighboring mall

Nice place for relax,and cheap in the same time, but they need to bring a lot of improvements in the rooms and in the restaurant. The swiming pool is ok-clean.For 3 stars hotel is ok.

Our room is very noisy. We see the staircase from our balcon, and a loundry. : (
Can't sleep.
The next door start construction.
The Garden is beautiful. The breakfast is oriental: ) with much sugar.
Everybody is polite, an smiling. (Waiters, reception etc. )
The next problem is the bathroom, or shower.
The water is cold, or hot -can not mixed.
No electricity for hairdryer, and no hardryer.

Using application booking online showed differently as to what we booked for! So cancelled online reservation and didn't get the chance to stay here. Open lobby area invite mozzies despite of the spray

I got a room upon check-in that didn't lock so they immediately moved me to another room. I wasn't impressed and they moved me again to a renovated room a couple of days later. The renovated rooms are a lot better. Comfortable beds. I went next door to get some mosquito spray as there were a couple of mosquitos, problem solved.
My only complaints would be:
the shower is either hot or cold; and
try and get a room that doesn't face a wall near the stairs as the light beams through from the window above the door.
I found some guests to be very loud when they sat out on their balconies at 1 in the morning and were having very loud conversations, slamming doors and moving chairs. Don't know if it's because the noise echoes in the stair area. I had to ask people to be quiet. This was almost every night. One night this happened for 3 hours. So please have respect for other guests that need their sleep and be quiet.
Staff are extremely friendly and housekeeping staff do a great job. Loved how our rooms were cleaned before lunch time. Very efficient. The food at the restaurant is cheap and great.

Rooms smelt and were nothing like the pics on the website. No Wi fi in rooms. Breakfast was terrible

The double room is bad but the pool is very will, cuz it is so deep, can swing there quite ease.

Cheap hotel. There are many older people staying here who make it look like a cheap nursing home. Also some budget backpackers.
The electric jug in our room was rusty and disgusting. One drinking glass was missing, reception said they would send one up but never did. No teaspoons for morning coffee, no coffee packets either. No shampoo in bathroom. Only one bedside table for our double bed. The towels were a bit old. Everything in room a bit old, especially the disgusting rusty jug.
Breakfast wasn't as bad as the room, but only edible, not enjoyable.
Staying here might be ok if you really can't afford better, but after one night we decided we'd rather upgrade and have an enjoyable holiday. :)

Worst worst. Not even 1 star. I am staying right now..and 3 more days to go.. taken all money in advance.. and because i got deal from online booking they gave room on 3rd floor. Staff not friendly. Air conditioner not working have to stay like this. Bathroom smells so bad all my deo will b wasted spraying in bathroom. And friends do bring your country plug convertible they dont have it..and they dont pick up your call so dont try calng from room..

hi guys this is a great budget resort like it was 20 years ago really like stepping back in time with some of the same staff that started here the owners are about to fix her up she has a sister hotel in Ubud but could have better beds and better water pressue but hay allgood cause it has a big pool, close to surfing reef that takes a 5 min walk to get to with boats that take you out for 50 thou, 1 min to brand new shopping center Lippo mall the rooms are big with air con has foxtel breakfast is basic but fresh you can order omeletts soft boiled sunny side with bacon but for 30 ish a night, why complain its a 2 star in a third world country .We did 22 nights. There is a massage place out front 4 bucks full body a warung up street 3 doolars with a drink plenty of other restaurants around then there is the beach walk that you can take up to mattahari they have 20 year in a row customers going to this little hotel, a safe in office with a 2 key system so all good. Recommended for travellers used to going to bali and not winging about everything its a third world country guys and the people are absolutely awesome just ask and they will endeavor to help

There was no safe and the rooms where dirty and hot, very bad internet connection,green pool and rude staff
I spent one night and it wasn't by choice if I could have left the second I walked into my room I would have 👎🏼

Rooms smells a little musky but the pool more then makes up for it!

Bakungs Beach Hotel is a big hotel right near the beach. It is a 2 minute walk away.
I was surprised about how huge their pool is, and they have a nice outdoor bar next to it
with food. The rooms are pretty big, many have balcony, it was not what I was expecting for the price paid for the room, was very pleased.
I plan to go back there again soon and will write a better review. Thanks, John
