Owner serve all guests very nice and friendly. Food although need time to cook cause freshly made but all food taste fresh and delicious. Location easy to find beside the street. Its an open air resto, sitting here are very comfy and homey. Serve all menus Indonesian till Western. Recomended to eat there when come to Tuk Tuk.

The foods are a bit pricey but the taste is worth the price. We tried BBQ grilled fish, sweet and sour prawn, pork roast. All tasted so delicious.

Very nice food. You can try the western selection in here as well. Very friendly service. Can be a bit busy, so expect to wait a bit for your order. But it's worth it

Thank you very much for your hospitalization. I came to the restaurant for a lunch and liked the food. Then I came back to the spot for a dinner again. I climbed the mountain, got stuck in the mountain while it was raining cats and dogs. When I came back to my hotel I took a shower and straightened to the place to ease myself wiz a beer and wine. Tonight I come back again. You should try a variety of dishes, food, and smiles. Buy you dare not to expect great 5-star restaurant’s service and complain. Just go easy because u don’t wanna ruin ur vacation on tiny matters.it’s a very good place to settle for your dinner after a series of attractions you enjoy during the day time.

Ordered the 'fried fish filled' from the 'authentic' menu and was treated with fish and chips. Was pretty good but not what I had in mind. Decent wifi.

Small but cozy environment. Visited few restaurant at Samosir, so far this provide us the best fried rice and pork stick. At least not too salty or using too much of MSG.

Decent food and service at a reasonable price. If you are interested in Western food, then this is the place to go. If you want local cuisine, then go elsewhere for better prices at a similar quality.

Most of the hotels in this are of Tuk Tuk do have a small menu in their resturant for breakfast, but for Lunch and Dinner, you should "eat out". Jenny's is ONE of the many great restos within 100 meters of the hotel.
Great food ant ANY time of the day, and is allways full during the main meals time, which reflects the great cooks.
One thing I did notice, there are three small restos with 50 meters of eachother, and if one runs out of a product, the staff just go to another resto and "borrow" from them. Great business community interaction here :-)

The pork steak comes with very delicious gravy, grilled fish also very nice. Small and cozy restaurant decorated with multinational bank notes. Friendly staffs and with very affordable price.

Nice view, lots of menu, but don't come here if you aren't ready to wait for around an hour for your meal to be served..

This is the TOP pick by lonely planet and the grilled lake fish certainly did not disappoint its fame. Very generous portion! It is a whole fish and very finely spiced. Will strongly recommend.

Food are ok. Serves beer. Like their bbq lake fish and water spinach. Bring insects repellant if you r visiting... Staffs are helpful and friendly.

Overcrowded due to #1 TripAdvisor rating but unable to manage this crowd. It's too popular now among foreiners to manage them all. They put more tables at nearby foggy grill area but it brings more problems. Mixed orders, forgotten dishes and drinks looks like normal there. Food was good, but nothing special. Fresh fish you can find in this area at every corner. The best fish with local homemade sambal sause we ate at the restaurant just wall to wall with Jenny's when we were not able to get into Jenny's crowd at our first day. Weekend, holidays any foreigner youll see at the street after 6 p.m then you'll see there. But no local tourists which prefer other places with no crowd and better food.

This place is an okay to go place. Food is served good, but the service took very long. I wait for around an hour and half to get my food.

Average sweet and sour chicken. It wasn't as good as I expected as the place was rated number 1 in trip advisor but maybe because their especialty is fish and not the sweet and sour dish.
Service was a little slow despite only having 2 tables occupied in the restaurant.
Took us about 5 to 8 minutes wait time to get our bill.
