" Salah satu tempat paling favorite saya di Bukittinggi. Walau ramai tapi suasananya sangat menyenangkan. Best time menikmati jam gadang adalah saat malam hari dimana jam gadang akan berubah ubah warna lampu dan terlihat lebih indah. Udara yang sejuk menambah nikmatnya menikmati Jam Gadang di malam hari. Ada hal yg paling saya suka ketika berada disini malam hari, saya bisa melihat awan putih embun yg terbawa angin dan ada 1 keluarga pengamen yg memainkan alat musik dengan nyanyian khas minang.

" Anywhere place in Indonesia, government always failed to put a special site as Special place as like they are. Government mostly do not appreciate the destinations site as a important matter. Various Food sales, kid toys sales such balloon, local traditional toys, many souvenir they free walking around and it's completely make me uncomfort. When I take a picture I can't take the view as clear as I want. So? I'm speechless.I'm so hopeless the government can think this matter, and fix it up as professional manner "

" First timer here in another city icon! A bunch of crowds with tourists and local people taking afternoon stroll with various local food sellers. I remembered I tried a local snack called Kerupuk Siram / Kerupuk Leak if I'm not mistaken. It's a cracker made from cassava, served with Padang's curry sauce and rice noodle. Sooo tasty!!!! It can be found around the area and only costs 4k idr! "

" Good place but crowded, beware of your stuffs from stolen such as your hand phone, wallet, bag and others things easy to stolen, I had this uncomfortable time , my phone stolen here by some one pretending to help me when my car have problems with tires parking beside the Novotel , just he said i will help you and then I will call my friend but I don't have pulsa I can't make a call, Stupid me too much trust to stranger i have my phone to call his friend, but then he run away my phone, after I login my Google map I can see where he stop and Switch off my phone, beside the building of This Tower clock...again beware for crime here , take care all of your stuffs carefully and should the police also take care this place by watching the crime here...Need police to have a stand there as my suggestion. " Selalu menjadi tempat favorit saya untuk jalan-jalan keluarga. Apalagi sejak taman sudah dirapikan, bisa ajak anak2 yang baru bisa jalan buat latihan. Sayangnya ciri khas jam gadang sudah berkurang. Pedagang "Karupuak Kuah" sangat susah ditemui karena diawasi Satpol PP. Padahal ini menjadi salah satu ciri khas di Jam Gadang. Saran saya, jikalau memang adanya pedagang asongan ini mengganggu keindahan, lebih baik Pemko Bukittinggi menyediakan corner khusus bagi mereka yang ingin berjualan bisa pakai izin dan sewa yang murah. Agar mereka bisa mencari nafkah dengan nyaman, dan keinginan wisata kuliner jajanan unik pengunjung juga terpuaskan.

Saya ingin sekali nonton tapi masih belum kesampean. Terakhir saya ingin liat randai dll, ternyata sedang ada acara beatbox battle. Dan saya kecewa. 😅

When you walking around it you can easily find many of tradisional food such as rendang, kerupuk sanjai, pisang kapik and many more. There is a bung hatta garden beside it.
