One of the best hakka restaurant in Jakarta, rather hard to find but it's worth it, not too expensive too.
The owner can give you suggestions on what to order, though at my visit he also rejected some of our orders because he said we didn't know what we order, it's different from our expectations, etc.
Overall a nice visit, will come again sooner or later.

Really recommended foods here. But the place is rather difficult to find. And the resto owner is a bit stiff

serving since 1925, an explorer's travel. the place is the pits with no hope of renovation, but entirely authentic unlike some modern establishments, all is forgiven after dining steam chicken, buttered fried chicken, seafood noodle, and other kota favorites..owner takes snaps to post on fb and Instagram.. reasonably priced, a hidden gem in kota

Love the area around, so unique . Wong funkie foods are always the best for me. So many delicious food to choose. Try the “gurame asam manis”, “lindung ca fumak”, ayam rebus , haisom . I sometime bring family and friends to eat , and nobody disappoints with the food. Come weekdays to avoid longer waiting time for food.

You will need a lot of patience in this place..came here recommended by a friend, but quite dissapointed. waited almost 2 hours until first menu came. The food is honestly over rated.. Not bad, but also nothing special.

The taste is below expectations.. and the owner didn't treat you well... Eat here because the online ad describe this place..But the reality is not.. first and last

Difficult to find, at first glance doesn't look like a resturant. Food was great and peeps super friendly. Go if you get the chance.

Difficult to find, dirty and expensive. Wouldn't have visited the place if not because of a family member brought us there. The owner was arrogant and the staff were rude. They were only nice to the person who made the order and gave the payment money. They ignored and were rude to the rest of us that were sitting on the table.
Food were standard Chinese food. Some even sub standard. Lack of taste. Location was difficult to find and way to go there was through small, dark and dirty alley. So many animal poos along the way. Not one thing is legendary about this place. In addition, it was so long to wait for a table since the place was so small. It was so squeezy inside, not enough space to move. Very uncomfortable.
Come on guys, you need to lift up your game to stay in the competition. At least get a decent place that is clean and easy to reach. Be polite and courteous. The rest will follow. At this stage, I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Very old chinese eat house, located literally inside an alley.. Some might find it pricey.. The taste is acceptable..

Most of the staff was rude. Been here on saturday lunch and survived the waiting game. Stood for 90 mins outside on sunny day to get into cramped seating. The taste is comparable to angke restaurant, but half the price.
I guess the owner has a fetish with calendar because it is one of a kind scene on the restaurant wall.
The fried noodle was okay. It was fragrant but bland.
Fu mak was very similar to angke
Angsio tofu fish was legit.
Came here with 2 of my adventourus friends, but we agreed that was one of a lifetime experience.

The restaurant is literally located at small aisle. You should park your car outside from the aisle entrance and walk around 200 meter.
It is not recommended to bring young kids.
The average service time is 1 hour plus, counted starting from your order.
They serve a bunch variety of meal thus suggested you better do some research prior you come to save your time there..
Recommended you bring snacks as you will experience 1 hour waiting time...
The taste....
It is really traditional hakka style... just to manage your expectation... personally I still prefer Angke restaurant..
The price.. on average is 70k / meal..
If you looking for an insta photo spot.. forget it... I'm hardly to find one..

A trip for tummy and history. A kind of food you need to taste at least once. Don't forget to have lots of your friend coming with you so you can taste their wide variety of food

Hidden Hakka gem in kota. Getting there is quite a trip but best lindung fumak in town. Interior has not changed the last 50 years or so but local regulars swear by their consistency in serving killer Hakka dishes

Superb!!! Surely one of the best traditional Chinese home cooking in town. The taste is incredible and the price is reasonable
