Similar to a western supermarket. Not huge but has everything you may need. High hygiene standards in the fresh food department which is something really hard to find in Jakarta. It is expensive, really expensive if compared with local supermarkets or convenience stores.

A huge supermarket selling fresh groceries & other things supermakets usually carries. The Foodhall Kitchen cooks & serves ready to eat food inside this supermarket.

An alternative option when you didn't know which to chose ;D

An upscale supermarket in the upscale shopping mall. Shopping here feels like going to any similar supermarket abroad. Many expatriates shopping here as well as some locals who try to find some items that not widely available elsewhere.

Food Hall Kitchen is a buy-what-you-eat concept in the middle of a supermarket. You buy the ingredients of what you want to eat and then ask them how to cook it.
There lies the problem, what food you ask they prepare is sort of Russian roulette. Don't ask anything complicated. Or you can opt for set meals from their menu.
Food hall kitchen service sucks royally... slow and not preemptive. It's apparent that they are understaffed, or do not care enough.
Otherwise the place is nice enough, clean and bustling. It's a supermarket, with all the impersonality and amenities of one. Prices of the produce are higher than the average or traditional markets, but the quality and the variety of the produce are also above average.
