Clean and largest in Indonesia. Nice facilities. Many retail stores, although some have not yet opened. Things were a bit negative is for an airport as new as this, the quality of materials and workmanship of several details of buildings should be this improved

The new modern look building have big potential to be the pride of the nation. Its amazing that the air condition is actually cold. The minus point: The information girl at the small counter just before exciting the bagage colection was not smart and can not give the correct direction to the gorden bird counter.

First time here. The size fits the name. But it's still under construction mostly. The entry point is at the end of the dropping point. Got in on upper floor and the boarding lounge on the lower floor. Lack of signage but there are many information center and nice people that can be asked for direction.
There are many lounge on the waiting room. Small but comfy. They even got kids playground.
One thing I feel really different here. The people. They're more kind somehow than the people on other terminal :)

Ever here in old Terminal 3 (now will become pierhead of new Terminal)
The old terminal was great with modern architecture. The signs also clear in big size. Boarding area feel like in big expo but still classy and give me wow effect. The boarding area was comfy although it is hard to connect wi-fi. The praying room was small but it still okay.
The new terminal seems giant and glorious from outside. Unfortunately, many news and photos told if it has many problems like need more light, lack of seats, flooding, traffic jam, wrong art placement etc. Hopes the airport operator(AP2) will fix it soon. At least as comfy and nice as old Terminal 3.

Why do they call it 'Ultimate'? I don,t get it.. You know that feeling when u have to renovate the house, because there is no other option anymore to ignore the short-comings and then you finally have the money together and start and then cannot wait anymore to see how it looks like, even when you know that it,s just half-baked and just barely passes the test..? That,s how it feels, and you know that all the rest of the due work will not happen anymore in time because you,re too busy to manage the massive task on hand first and the whole plan will fall apart. So what,s left are quick fixes like setting up better signs so that people can find their way around, turning down the AC so that people don,t get a cold while waiting (actually that is really strange: how can you improve your carbon foot-print with a massive space like this to climat control, from that PoV this building is a atrocity to common sense, but then again...). Why do start something 'temporary' when you should do it right in the first place? Oh and one more; why were the windows not cleaned before opening, they look like they have never seen any water after the glass left the factory. Considering the design of the fronts, that task alone will require some time to do. Let,s wait and see how this 1st and last impression of our country will look like once it,s completed, if ever really...
I stand corrected - it,s just bad design and horrible planning and a total mess. But again, you have no other choice as passanger than to suck up the incompetence and endure the failures for the times to come..

Restaurants charge 15% on top of their menu price.
food in two restos I've explored was not frwsh (ex: fried rice wasn't freshly fried and chicken was fried too many times before.
After the passport control prices are in usd only. Cosmetics chocolate cigarettes and alcohol.
No bottled water available.
So passengers cannot go back , because they passed immigration.
This is a AirAsia-only terminal .

Great design! much better than the previous terminals. The signage are clear enough to see and understand. But maybe they need to improve their services, such as: more seat for passengers (not only in the waiting area but also from the check in area), lower temperature for the main air conditioner, etc. But I think they're still one of the best airport in Indonesia. Good job.

This terminal is better than the other terminals. More comfortable, cleaner, and tidy. I like the interior design. But the waiting seats could be improved for comfort

I have visited 22 countries and have never seen anything like this: I'm at the boarding area right now and there is only a drinkable water tap in a room with 1,000 people. In addition, there's no place where you can buy a bottle of water... There are just two shops selling perfumes and alcohol + chocolates. Also, the screens don't display when your flight is boarding.

It's better than the other terminals; cleaner, more comfortable. The restaurants are indoors, separate from the check in counter so you can still be with your friends or family inside the building, unlike in T1 and T2 where most of the common area are outside.
