One of the best pempek place in town. I will recomended the one in kelapa gading and radio dalam. The price is a bit expensive for 1 meal, but still... always come back here because their food and the sauce is the best. The price won't lie 😀 So even though there's a thousand cheaper pempek store in jakarta, but this one is my first choice to enjoy pempek.

The best pempek in town. It also sells other palembang food.
For healthier option you can try grilled or boiled pempek. Not just deep fried as usual. The boiled pempek enhance the fishy flavor in the pempek
My favorite: lenggang panggang, tunu, boiled kapal selam (not deep fried), es kacang merah, es lidah buaya and also the fish cake (otak-otak) for the starters. The tekwan is also delicious. Roti canai with kari and the martabak is also available here.

One of the legendary 'pempek' (battered savory cakefish) in Jakarta. The outlet in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, is, cmiiw, its first outlet. It is next to one of prominent food outlet in this legendary well known culinary district, "Ikan Nila Pak Ugi". As far as my experience, there are two other outlets in Radio Dalam District and Bintaro Jaya, South Jakarta. You may find variety of Pempek, in this not too small not too big resto in Kelapa Gading branch. My favourite are a hot "Tekwan" (a fish ball soup with slices of mushroom, turnip and fresh shrimp broth). It would be my choice if i had a cold. Complete your experience by ordering any kind of fried pempek, but watch out fpr the size. It is big and of course, deliciozooo..

One of the best pempek (fried fish cake - Indonesian authentic food) in Kelapa Gading. They provide not only various kinds of pempek here but also another Palembang dishes. The waitress will give you otak-otak directly after you give them the order and it's up to you whether you want to eat it or not.
The pempek is nice, not too fishy. The cuko (brown sauce for pempek) is a little bit sweet, sour, and spicy.
They provide shredded dried shrimp in a jar at every table, so you can add it to your pempek as desired.
The price is worth the taste and the place is clean also.
