I cancelled my booking and decided to go to another hostel. A guide met us at the entrance of Bukit Lawang and took us to the owner of Ida House (despite us saying we wanted to go elsewhere) and the owner started getting verbally rude and aggressive because of the cancellation. He called me 'bloody crazy' a couple of times whilst following me about 10 metres to tell me off for cancelling. Disgusting behaviour. Quite scary.

A bit noisy at night because of the disco in the sorrounding area. Clean and generally ok, but mosquito net is broken and the bed too soft

The forest and river was awesome. Very fresh and original. You can do fun activities and get peacefull here. Please do research first for hotel and other place.

Tiene una hermosa vista, la comida en el restaurant es muy rica. La atención es espectacular y el treking que ofrecen es maravilloso.
