" The place has got a great garden and nice pool. The staff -very friendly and always smiling (as everywhere in Indonesia) and they knew enough english to communicate with the guests. The rooms are not as good as one the pictures- every day the staff came and cleaned our room but the room itself was humid and had crakcs which gave the impression that the building is old and not kept in shape. The staff is what makes this place so good. "

" Stayed here at the height of the holiday season. The staff was attentive and the breakfast was excellent. I loved the pool! The WiFi wasn't very fast, however. It seems there's only one router for the whole place. The location is also quite far from the main tourist attractions; Jalan Malioboro is nearly an hour to the south in moderate traffic. Otherwise, an excellent stay. "

" This was our lovely place to live on Java. It is not a 5 star hotel, but you get what you pay for - and we loved what we got! Beautiful territory and nice rooms, delicious breakfasts and great driver Dodo who speaks English very well!!! Mostly all the staff members speak English, and it is a great thing for foreigners on an island that is not very touristic place. "

" Best hotel experience we had in Indonesia. Staff is excellent, very polite and helpful. One can hire a car with a driver for a whole day for reasonable money and visit the city, the temples or arrange a trek to the magnificent active volcano, the Mt. Merapi. Restaurant serves great Indonesian cuisine and amazing tea and coffee, the garden with the swimming pool is also very nice. Rooms are big and comfortable. They also have a private wellness center and one can book a typical Javan massage. The only drawback is that it is far from the city center and one has to take a taxi or hotel car every time to go somewhere. "

" We had an amazing pleasant stay here, the hotel has nice and clean rooms and a relaxing swimming pool. The hotel restaurant (which was cozy and surrounded by a beautiful garden) was fantastic! We ate some of our best Indonesian meals throughout our whole vacation right here. And the putu ayu that you'll get for breakfast is to die for, so good!
