" Weekend is disaster for check in hotel. It's overload, waiting for empty room until 2 hours in lobby hotel. But it's okay since the hospitality of the workers is good. Clean and comfortable hotel. Hotel that blend with nature. Fish pond with the bridge near by swimming pool. Many trees there. For the bed room itself, it's quite good. There is bath tub. This is the guest who have baby looking for. "

" It’s surely the fanciest Hotel in town. With Amelia the quality is guaranteed. The surrounding are super noisy as the hotel is in the middle of one of the main roads. However the rooms are well sound proofed! The garden and the swimming pool are pretty. Restaurant is good too! "

" Old hotel but nicely renovated. Pool is great for young kids and family. Breakfast tastes good, but running out quickly. Room is not too fancy for 5*, but still comfortable. Bed is firm n nice, pillow is not comfortable - too high n seems old. Cleanliness can be improve, found some dust in the fridge cupboard. Bathroom is okay. Quick check in & check out process. "

" The hotel is about 45 minutes from the airport and is situated near the famous Malioboro shopping street. The deluxe rooms are surprisingly big and comes with shower and bath tubs. They provide bathroom essentials and towels are changed daily. Rooms facing the pool would probably give travellers a much peaceful sleep as the sound of prayers are blocked. Hotel is very clean with diligent staff making sure the guests are comfortable. Many thanks for the wonderful 3 nights stay. "

" The hotel is clean . Room is big. Request to fix up door of shower cubicle was responded promptly. Every staff from the doorman, housekeeping, reception, pool and restaurants is cheerful and attentive. Breakfast was fairly good but with room for improvement. The food in Chinese Restaurant was of good value. "

Beautiful designed garden and pool, not too shallow at all as some reviews here may claim. Food was lovely, a great place to spoil yourself! "

" The rooms are beautiful. The food in the chinese restaurant Ching San is mouth watering. We didn't expect to find such authentic Chinese cooking. It surpasses many Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. The chef's recommendations were great. The service was excellent. The price was very reasonable. It surpassed our expectations! We had a wonderful time, we ate there 3 nights in a roll and would highly recommend it to anyone. "

" The swimming pool is shallow and too small for swimming, designed for kids and family paddling around. The shower cubicle is not watertight we always ended up with a very wet floor. Good gym facility and restaurant. Breakfast is really good too. Staff are super friendly and helpful. "

" Reasonably comfortable but not of the same quality as other Melia hotels. Very inflexible on rules. Refused to honour Melia loyalty privileges since the booking had not been made through the Melia website. Refused to give a late checkout beyond 2pm even though that is one of the Melia loyalty privileges. In other words, you get precisely what you pay for, not a drop more. Very transactional but not conducive to building loyalty. "

" Nice hotel, stayed here for a full two weeks while I was in Yogyakarta for work and exploring the city. It's pretty central and has a good concierge that will call you a taxi or private car. It's right beside a supermarket called Progo, where I was able to get a local SIM card and some other necessities. It's also a 5 min walk from Mal Malioboro which was great. It also has a tour company within the hotel.

- Unstable bath hot water (e.g. 2 min hot, then suddenly cold) "
