" Unsatisfied with the service. Major changes should be made including increasing quota, human resource capacity, and processing speed. takes a half day for queuing. Hopefully, the government should concern more and take action to this. have a nice day everyone! "

" Don't forget to do your passport queue registration through mobile apps and dressed properly as rules mentioned. "

" The process itself is quick and easy (as long as you've already prepared the required documents). The only downside was that even if i've submitted online queue, i still had to wait in line for about 2hrs from the scheduled time in the online queue).
14 December 2018But, yea, i belive that you can do a lot of improvement for this ๐ช "

" Visa extension, hassle free staff are polite and English speaking. I don't get the negatives from other comments. Only down side is the queue on the first day and the fact that the whole process takes four days and not three. If you can extend in a smaller town it will probably be much quickeras it was when I extended in Padang Sumatra before. "

" Important to dress as they expect: no flip flops or any shorts
30 September 2018For visa extension they make you come 2 days after request only for picture and finger prints, what doesnโt make any sense since you will waste so much time for the whole process.
Make sure you are at least 4 days in the city for a visa extension "

" It only takes 18 MINUTES to make your new passport. But please make sure all of your document is ready. This is the best of Indonesiaโs bureaucracy ๐ "

" 1. Don't forget to do your online queue (through apps or the website).
02 August 20182. Come at least 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
3. Wear proper clothing. No shorts, sandals, or t-shirts.
4. Follow through with the required documents and don't forget to ask questions to the staffs when you have to. "
Sinta Safira
" Since the queue system has changed into online queue service you can book your queue by signin up into antrian.imigrasi.go.id. No need to come early or subuh to book your queue. There are snacks and drink and kids playground too. The facilities are getting better. The service needs to be improved though. The staffs are taking a long time. "

" DISAPPOINTING.
10 March 2018The new online queue system is a mess. I called the office during office hours for more than 10 times but no one answered. When they finally did, I asked the schedule when the queue opens but the lady didnt know and had to ask other worker and he also didnt know and told me to check everyday and every hour. When I said there was no date available even until next year they couldn't give a proper answer as to why. When I criticized the way they handle the schedule and give unabsolute answer they told me to protest the central office and hang up at the end. Unbelievable. So i had to come to the office and the lady at front surprisingly knew the schedule (she said every saturday and monday) and told me to download the app. I wonder why they didn't have the same information, its so frustrating having had to come there to only get the information that can be given easily through the phone. I'm truly disappointed. "

" Visa on Arrival (VOA) Extend:
14 February 2018Overall experience: everything quite smooth and comfortable: waiting room has aircon and free wifi. Have toilet inside. Staff is quite polite and English speaking. Almost no lines. It takes us 25 minute on the 1st visit, we arrive at 8-45.
How to prepare:
0. Check other websites for a fresh information first.
1. Don't expect western-level service. Be calm. Indonesia is developing quick and of course it's must be some small service gap. Everything would be completely okay, no worries.
2. Dress politely (not a joke), speak politely, be calm.
3. Make a copy of passport: 1st page, visa page.
4. Prepare full local address and phone of your hotel, hostel or whatever.
5. Visa on arrival and sponsor: YOU DONT NEED SPONSOR. Don't worry about that.
6. Be sure, that your visa is less than 14 days left. They check it and refuse to take document for the first time. Don't know why. But at least we don't need to refill the form.
How to save some time:
1. Find the form online.
2. Prepare all data in advance on your phone, so after you come you don't need to think or check documents and can just write it.
What to do during your 1st visit:
1. Go to the office, better more early.
2. On the front desk tell: extend visa or whatever.
3. They give you a number, form and pink folder.
4. Fill the form: uppercase. NO NEED SPONSOR.
5. Fill the first 3 lines of the pink folder: NAME, LOCAL ADDRESS, NATIONALITY.
6. Wait for your number.
- In our case it was very quick. We come, take number, 5 minutes and they call our number.
7. Give everything to officer.
8. Sit and wait.
9. After few minutes officer will call your name directly and will give you a paper for a bank.
That's it. You can go back home and enjoy some good local coffee.
P.S. Next time you need to come take photo, fingerprints and the 3rd time you will pickup your visa. (It takes us 4 working days). But nothing special here.
UPDATE:
1. No need to pay bill at the bank, there is a small kiosk near the main entrance.
2. Go to the basement floor after (small shop at underground parking) to make a copy of payment receipt. "

" an absolute embarrassment to Indonesia. After made to wait 5 hours to submit one form, and then given attitude at the end, I am convinced that these people haven't been educated on the massive contribution by foreigners into Indonesia's economy, and don't get me started on their "Javanese" morals - which are only invoked when it comes time for them to criticize others. None of those values are on display here. Immigration officials should be representatives and ambassadors of the country. If I was an Indonesian, I'd be ashamed of this place. "

" No official announcement that states we should get online queue from android app / official website before coming. And this is bad. A lot of people that haven't understand this forced to come back home and apply for online queue. And guess what? We should wait for 3 weeks to get our time! This is a big issue for people who has scheduled their time and just know about this. Very poor communication from the govement. And the staffs, not helpfull at all. Unclear explanation like they expect us to understand everything. Bad experience. "

" VERY BAD SERVICE. Not all of them though. Some of the workers do well, but I found some of them working unprofessionally. The worst thing they did: THEY LOST MY DOCUMENT and they are still tracing where the document goes. Nobody seemed professional at the time I came to ask question. I decided to go back to my office. Then, I called the call center. They didn't even respond to my call. I called them 3 times in office hours, but no one answered it. Fail to understand why. "
07 November 2017Daan Hogeboom
" People 'working' here just relax. Making personal calls, disappearing for half an hour and unfriendly. Plus you have to wait 2 hours 3 times for visa extension. Great fun! "
29 September 2017Timoteus Setyawan
" Indonesian immgiration has changed a lot. O que.. they work fast. For instance written "can be obtained after 13:00, but came at 11:00 its done" good ๐๐ "

" *VISA EXTENSION*
22 August 2017I don't usually complain but this is too much.If I could rate less than 1 star, I would rate it!!! Poor communication and unprofessional plus unfriendly at all. Do they actually expect us to understand everything?!. Would it be easy if they have explain it earlier and clearer. You have to come back many times to get ur visa EXTENSION done. Worst experience "
Ahmad Alvin Muttaqin
" Actually there are several improvements than 2 years ago. I think the immigration services should make an online service to reduce the amount of repetitive activities. "

" Don't extend your visa. Just leave the country after a month and avoid the horrific experience of Indo immigration.
25 December 2016Terrible communication. The man at immigration is a soulless jerk. To be fair, the women were not so cruel and did help in a very difficult situation. Expect to have to come back many times to get a visa extension done and don't expect clear or helpful communication. It takes at least 5 business days for a visa extension and no one tells you that beforehand so plan to be stuck somewhere for at least a week. This is pretty ridiculous considering you only get an extra month, but if you do have to move quicker let them know before hand and they "might" be able to help you. Ultimately the lack of instruction and the poor communication of the staff resulted in me missing a flight and I almost was stuck in yogya for 4 extra days when I had bookings to be in Bali for xmas. You'd think at an immigration office, the front desk people would be a bit more knowledgable about their asinine processes and speak passing English. "
