Many rooms available, placed every where. 😀 Some cottage are built on the height, which you can reach by stairs. It has restaurant which serves Indonesian food. Try fruit salad then you will be astonished at the dressing..😀. Dont do any onsite booking because the receptionist close at 23.00 WIB. "

" Can’t recommend this place. Room was full of mold, the promised „hot shower“ non-existing. Staff is trying, but not exactly helpful, clueless would be the more adequate term.
29 December 2017Insanly loud karaoke next door until late. And I mean really loud - as if they were screaming into your ear, drunk and painfully out of key.
In the restaurant we had the worst food on our whole indonesia trip.
So yeah, very dodgy all in all. The 2 stars are for trying and the general goodwill. "

" Great hotel to stay with family! Exotic and ethnical hotel style with superb lake view. We can do jetski and swimming in front of hotel, very fresh water! Breakfast and dinner are great. However, room needs improvement in term of hot water and room conditions, but worth to stay "

" Great situation in the lake with a swimming area including a springboard. The room and bathroom were big, but water was running from the sink an toilet. Also, there was no hot water even though we booked a room with hot water (which did cost extra). We were told that they use solar power to heat the water, and if the weather is cloudy there is no hot water (unfortunately that is exactly the time when you need hot water for a comfortable shower.

" It has amazing views when we sit near the lake. We can swim at the lake. Children can also play at the edge of the lake and it's still safe. To those who would like to try Banana Boat, the hotel provide it as well. "

" Fantastic stay! We got a room with a fantastic view. The place is cozy, the staff are friendly and the restaurant serves delicious and cheap food. A minor negative thing worth mentioning is the lack of hot water in the shower. "

" Pretty hotel by the lake! There's a drop off point within the hotel itself for the ferry to/fro Parapat (that's a great convenience)! I got the Economy Hill Room which was very basic (no aircon or fan but is somehow cooling from the architecture; no water heater; free wifi at restaurant only) but comfortable (it was really cheap too at 150K a night, so that's surely worth the penny); the family rooms facing the lake looked much nicer though.
21 May 2017The hotel is reasonably supported with some amenities - a decent restaurant; a simple mart (postcards and postage stamps and post box available too); a tour desk to help with your tours if required; Cars, motorbikes, bicycles are available for rent from the hotel to go out on adventures around the island. My favourite part? The hotel's "pool" - which is Lake Toba itself with an area marked out by bouys (i assume to keep out unsuspecting boats). Super fun.
Went in May and it was super quiet all around the island so i pretty much had the entire place to myself. "

" Grounds are mostly nice with nice views and access to lake. It seems to be one of the few places with a sandy beach. Rooms are old but clean. There are vents above the windows that can't be closed so you can hear and smell everything outside. They also decided to paint and repair nearby rooms a few days in, so we smelled paint fumes often after that. We had to turn the hot water on and off to get hot water. Food was okay; better earlier in the day than later at night. We didn't get service at breakfast one time when there was a big group but otherwise service is okay. "

" Great location and view, very nice prices. Utterly ridiculous service. The place is such a good location that innovations this. A quick walk outside and you find restaurants that will serve you, laundry places to clean clothes AND return you clothes, and places to rent bikes. "
