" Awesome scenary. Recommended to go down below if you like traking n wanna experience bathing under the heavy fall of water. It needs like an hour slow walk to reach below but the road is not that good. There is one spot where the trek is really horrible and can endanger your life. So be careful. Around 15 min from the top, a hut is provided for a short rest or quick eat. After you reach the down another hut is there with some paid snacks and drinks. "

" Very nice scenery, also has a good view of Lake Toba near the parking area. Entrance is IDR4.000 per person. Takes roughly half an hour each way.
03 March 2018Plenty of small stalls along the way to stop at if you're tired, prices are not cheap though. "

" This waterfall is really beautiful. from the top you can already see the waterfall. I do not recommend you to go down because there are too many stairs you have to go through, but if you want to feel the fresh water and see something spectacular then you have try it. On the other side of the hill you can also see lake toba from a distance "

" Best waterfall. there is a steady stream of rivers with rocks. to reach the bottom of the waterfall, we have to descend the stairs. maybe 1000 stairs. You will not regret it because it will get a beautiful view. You can enjoy the river. The air is so fresh. It will take about 15 minutes to get the bottom of the waterfall. Beside that, we can enjoy the toba lake view, green forest and the view along the path to waterfall. There are souvenir shops, culinary. They give rassional price. But you can still bargain to be cheaper. "

" Breathtaking view. If you hike all the way down, you can hear the roar of the waterfall getting louder as you descend. The path is easy to navigate and there are pit stops for drinks and picture taking along the way. "

" Beautiful place yet minim facilities. It takes hundreds stair step to reach the waterfall. You can enjoy the view from a far side, like i did. "

" Pros: beautiful waterfall & you get to exercise when you ascend from below.
26 September 2017Cons: areas surroundg waterfall is dirty, many throw litter & this REALLY spoils the entire image & ambiance of d place. I heard a rat move in rhe crevices as i descended to d base. "

" What an amazing waterfall! From the top, it offers beautiful view to the Toba lake. Climbing down was quite an experience. Sadly, many trash found along the way down. "

" One of the spectacular waterfalls I’ve ever seen in my life. In order to reach the waterfall, we have to climb down more than 600 stairs (correct me if I’m wrong) just to reach the waterfall. Climbing down was easy but you have to be extra careful on the cracked and steep stairs. The problem was at that time we were not sure whether we had stamina to climb up back. 2 of my friends agreed that we’re going to do about 150 stairs only which is a quarter of the journey. You can still see the view of Sipisopiso Waterfall from above actually but we wanted to see a close up just a little bit. It was worth it. "

" Good short hike to the waterfall with refreshing waterfall splash... the only issue here is there was trash everywhere on the trail. I see Indo just threw away all plastic and anything on the floor, sad to see people don't fully keep their country clean. "

" This was our first stop from Medan airport. Bus took us to the visitor center. we walked the 700+ steps down to the bottom of the falls and took the spray and ended up wet, which was fun. The visitor center also provides a great view of part of Toba lake and Samosir island. "
