" Good place, cheap n confortable "

" Looks like a hospital, not like a hotel. Rooms are really sad, cold light, things are not carefully taken care of for years. The terrace is a construction site... literally. If it weren't for some warm lights and reading lights it would be terrible. This is supposed to be a middle level hotel and in international standards is really low. And not cheap. Around 350 each room. "

" Two other girls and I stayed in Wisma Monika for 2 weeks. We booked one room for the three of us with air conditioning for a very reasonable price. The guesthouse is in the middle of the Rantepao so you can walk all over around the city easly. The house has various terrace areas to sit and read, its really calm. Sometimes there is sound from the motorbikes and chickens, but thats everywhere. It also has a local market and some stores (design t-shirts) next to it. The restaurant Mambo is next to it as well, good if you want to have a quick dinner and go to bed.
25 May 2017They prepare a really nice breakfast, toast, pancakes, Tamarello juice (I miss that) and of course rice. The staff is really friendly and will try to help you anytime. You can also buy fruits or food in the market and give it to them so they prepare it for you on breakfast.
The only drawback is the WiFi. It doesn't work all the time, mostly when there are storms. But just buy a SimCard and you'll be fine
If I ever go back to Toraja, I would definetly go back to Wisma Monika! "
