Galeri Warisan Kota Melaka @ No 1935 Jalan Kota, Melaka Town, is located on 1st floor in an old impressive white colonial style building.
The exhibition is mainly focused on old blueprints, documents and maps regarding the old bastion/fort. Entrance is free and if you pass by you can pop in. But the museum probably attracts "history geeks" more than the ordinary main stream visitor to Melaka.
At the moment (May 2018) there is some sort of renovation going on and it is closed for the public. No information about when it will opens up again. "
