Oliver's Travel

My name is Oliver, I am 21 years old. I was born in Ambon. I live with my Parents in Sorong West-Papua, I have two sisters and one younger brother. I am a guide for tours to the Raja Ampat.

The Raja Ampat are known for being among the most beautiful islands in the world. It is located in West-Papua (Indonesia). Its underwater world is famous among divers and graced with manta ray (ray fish). It’s islands are fringed with white sandy beaches and it’s forests are jewelled with birds of paradise. Its people still maintain a traditional lifestyle. These are just a few of the beauties the Raja Ampat have to offer.

This is my facebook page called Oliver’s travel. Through this page and my guiding activities I want to put Raja Ampat on the map by making it more accessible to tourists in a sustainable vision.

By sharing my Raja Ampat guiding experience and to help tourists with my Raja Ampat tour packages . To maintain it as a pristine eco-system in all its beauties and to make tourism sustainable and in harmony with the traditional lifestyle of the indigenous. There were many times my guests asking me "why you would chose guesthouse?"Answer: I would help local people. Starting with Herman's family, I hope I could give them some money. I would also show to my guests that Yembuba's people are different, they are goodhearted.
