" The hostel is located right in Chinatown, and it is very easy to get around to just about any place in the city with the MTR near by. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, so there is not much more to ask for there. Breakfast is included, but it is very basic, so that could be either a plus or a minus depending on what you're expecting. The other downside is that the only common area is the kitchen, so if your room is one of the three on that floor it can get loud at night. The atmosphere here isn't crazy, but there is no soundproofing either. "

" Fantastic location! Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Breakfast simple but good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside is a lack of social atmosphere but this was okay for us travelling as a group. Our room was also right outside the breakfast room and we could hear everything going on outside. "

" Clean beds in a nice room. I loved the capsule concept and the personal luggage lockers! Very helpful staff; they even let me take a shower and lend a towel before my evening flight although I was already checked out that morning! Very convenient that luggage can be stored after check-out so you can still explore the city comfortably. The location is very good too, about 20 minutes walking to see the most famous sights. The kitchen could use better cleaning; there were tiny bugs crawling everywhere including the sink, where we prepare our meals. Thanks Wink, for taking care of me during my stay! "

" I enjoyed my stay; had a great rest and sleep. There was chatting on the phone at 1am in the morning by one of the guest and noise in the morning when people wakes up but these were guests-dependent and expected of a hostel. Overall, quite impressed; will want to return for another stay. "

21 November 2017This time I decided to stay there again, wasn't disappointed. The air-conditioning is very very cooling, which is great as Singapore is generally very hot.

23 August 2017Location was so proper, almost every tourist spot felt like a hip skip jump. Chinatown shopping street just 2mins walk.
Almost a 50 restaurants around the street,till late midnight available.
Absolutely clean rooms. Working staff were more like friends. They were so kind,helpful & homely atmosphere. Common washrooms situated on 1st floor,clean but had to climb up stairs everytime.
Family dorms, couple pods available.
Luggage space decent enough for 1 big trolley & a backpack.
Wifi available in every nook & corner.
If planning hostel stay.. WINK is highly recommended... "

" I was amazed to see how great the place was. Should be rated as a 5 star hotel. Very clean, jovial and friendly staff, (to be noted: will go to great extent to help you out), cheapest in the city and extremely comfy. Second time in singapore and I regret not staying here in my first visit. I had come so unprepared for my trip but these guys here helped me out completely. Great place. Must stay here. #Goteamwink "

" Close to MRT, good location, friendly staff. Advertises as pod hotel but it's an upscaled hostel. Dorms a bit cramped, noisy and stuffy at full occupancy. Air-conditioning won't reach all bunks. Bit worn along the edges. You get what you paid for. "

" I met a lot of friendly staff here! I had food poisoning for half of my stay in Singapore so I was stuck in bed most of the time. One of the staff went out and bought me medicine. Beds are about as private as dorm style hostels get. "

" For a capsule-type hostel, the facilities were always well-maintained and cleaned. I always saw housekeeping cleaning up the washroom/showers daily- reassuring that I was truly getting clean. Wifi was fast, and there are several spaces in the hostel that you can just chill out in. Staff are friendly and were eager to help out.
17 November 2015Minus one star as a note of caution to those that get a top level capsule- it is quite a jump from the lowest rung of the ladder to the floor (I assume the lowest rung is so far from the floor so that it doesn't cover the luggage compartment), and I could definitely feel the impact when jumping from it (yes I had to do a mini-jump as I couldn't just step down easily). So word of advice- get a lower-level capsule. "

" It is nice but way over priced. Could have gotten a hotel for the same nights for a cheaper price. I do like the hostel feel better but there were so many little things that would have made this place beter. Like places to hang things to dry, bigger lockers for bags, and they need a much better ladder situation foe the top bunks. Terrible. "

" One of the best hostels ever. Private pods minimize the harshness of sleeping in shared rooms. Each pod has its own light, power outlet and shelf for putting your personal belongings, as well as a secured locker at the bottom of the bed. Access to the rooms and the lockers is only by a keycard that also lights up your locker when you get into your room. It's also just a few minutes walk away from the Chinatown MRT station. Excellent value. "
