" Shree Ambaji @ 181 Jalan Ujong Pasir, was built in 1974.
20 December 2017It is the only Gujarati Hindu temple in Southeast Asia. The Gujarati's where among the first to settle in Melaka.
The main celebration here is the 9-day long Navratri Festival in September/October every year. The celebrations ends with a 10 km long procession, where a beautifully chariot, bearing the goddess, decorated with lights is led by two bulls through Melaka.

Temple open daily: 7 - 10am & 5 - 9pm. The young priest, from India, is very friendly and welcoming, but his English is limited. "
