" A reasonable room standard. However, the service is not consistent. I had 2 guests that came and they complaint that there's no water bottles and bath towels when they checked in. But they compliment the food that was provided for their breakfast which is a food hawker style permise next to the hotel. "

" Simple, affordable hotel. Desk and chair, tv, bed and bedside table. Clean, but old bathroom. All as reflected in the price of the hotel.

No tea or coffee or toiletries provided. No water provided.
Pros: Free transport offered from the airport to the hotel with prior arrangement (very poor public transport in Brunei and taxis will grossly overcharge - as happened to me). This costs 10 bruneian dollars on the way back if requested. Clean room, professional staff. Impeccable location, being immediately surrounded by numerous restaurants (western, eastern and local) as well as shops and walking distance to local sights and the water village.

" They got spacious and comfortable room. From outside of the hotel, everything looked fancy but from the inside, it looked like this hotel need some renovation. The room also need some tweak as we're heading to 2020. Don't let the hotel stayed old school. "

" Cheap and reasonable pricing. Good for short stay. Staff are friendly and room are quite clean. It does not have a lift though. If you have huge luggage, beware! Ample parkings outside the hotel. "

Superb service: displaying interest in Brunei was cruised around the town with multiple long stop for sightseeing all major attractions... all for free with multiple smiles and genuine hospitality on part of two hotel staff...
Also transfered me to the airport for a small fee. "

" There are a few Pros and Cons to this Hotel.
06 August 2016Pros: Nice Lobby, Interesting Hallways, and large rooms. The front desk staff were superb and very helpful. They all spoke english very well. Very close to town.
Cons: The internet was struggling hard when we were there and the bathroom and shower area were really really gross. Even after we asked to have it cleaned it still had stains on the floors and someone elses hair and toothpaste spit around the sink.
The Meh: Area of town is run-down and pretty dirty. No elevator. The free breakfast is okay, but it's not the greatest. It's at the restaurant next door which tries to model "cool" Western food....but its all pretty.... Bleh.
And finally (although they probably can't help it)....but the dogs next door bark A LOT in tje middle of the night. Really annoyed me.
If I went back I would likely stay elsewhere. "
