" My wife and I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Our room was very nice, comfortable and quiet and we slept well. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and all the staff were very friendly, polite and overall provided an excellent service so a big THANK YOU! Best feature of the hotel is of course the fantastic rooftop pool which is great place to relax before or after sight-seeing. There are fantastic views of the skyline including the Marina Bay Sands hotel. The hotel is also in a great location and with the Somerset MRT (metro) station underneath the hotel, it was very easy to travel to other parts of the city. Also loved Jen the robot who delivers food and drink to your room if requested - fun and something different we haven't seen before. We checked out before 12pm and had a late flight but the hotel allowed us to carry on using the facilities so we relaxed by the pool later in the day, and we were allowed to use a locker and the changing room on the top floor so we were able to shower and change our clothes before a long flight home. Only one negative point, is that there is hardly any parking space at the hotel entrance, so if you have a vehicle transfer arranged to take you back to the airport, the driver won't usually be able to stay parked outside for very long so you need to be early and ready in the lobby for the driver. Our driver came early and we just missed him, so he had to drive around the block and as there was a lot of traffic it caused a long delay and a bit of worry before he was able to come back and pick us up. Overall, this is an excellent hotel and we would definitely stay again. "

" On the whole the Front Desk colleague was helpful when I asked her to call the Taxi company to report that I lost my wallet.

There is a strong cigarette smell in the room which indicated that someone smoked in that room before. "

" Very nice and well located city centre Hotel, staff were excellent and always helpful. Special mention re Elizabeth duty manager who went that extra distance, thanks to her again from both myself and my wife. Choice at breakfast was excellent, the wife thought they did the best omelettes. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!!! "

" Staffs at lobby are friendly. Staffs at ground floor are still OK, but it will be better if they could assist guest to book taxi with free of charge. Room is nice and well equipped. Food is diversified and taste good. "

" My most excellent encounter was with your duty manager Mr Sylvester Tan. He was professional, patient and helpful with queries. He went the extra mile, kudos! The cocktails at the bar lounge were top class. The room had a great view on top of being clean, cosy and well-maintained. i would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends as a preferred short vacation option. "

" We only had one night at the hotel but everything was very good except the fact that the restaurant was out of action as it was fully booked because of a conference. We ate in the lounge area which did not have tables we could easily eat off. We had to lean over a low coffee table. The menu choice was very limited.

However the hotel staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.
The roof top pool was lovely and the changing rooms were very good as we needed to have a shower before leaving for the airport at 10.40 pm. Very clean and well managed.
Would recommend this hotel. Right next to the MRT station too and the shopping mall. "

" Rooms are tiny and there is no room division between the bathroom and actual bedroom. But the staff are extremely friendly and sooo helpful. Top notch customer service. Also, great location. Right in the middle of shopping malls. Easy access to public transportation like bus, mrt, and taxis. And the breakfast buffet is amazing. Best breakfast buffet in any hotel I've ever stayed in. Great place to stay for tourists on their 1st visit to Singapore. The only 2 reasons I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the high price and relatively smaller rooms compared to other hotels in the area. And not having a separate bathroom doesn't help. "

" Update: Last visit to the pool today 13 September 2017, at 5.45 am and the pool attendant ask me to leave because it's not open before 6.00 am. I wasn't swimming, just enjoying sunrise and took pictures. Is that a new policy? Dont like his attitude anyway.

" Orchard Gateway is daunting at first and can take a bit of getting used too but after a couple of days you know your way about, and even find shortcuts via the bridge and underpass. The area is good for shopping and is very busy, but a calm busy. Not everyone is rushing about.The hotel is clean and quiet. The breakfast is fantastic, catering to a lot of different cultures. I would highly recommend the breakfast. The air conditioning in the bedroom is great as the heat and humidity can be quite stressful. You get bottled water daily, there is a safe and a small fridge in the bedroom. The staff are very friendly and look smart in their uniforms. If i was to come back to Singapore i would definitely stay at Hotel Jen and would recommend it. "

22 April 2017Really enjoyed it here. The staff were extremely helpful - three of us showed up around 3AM and only one employee was at the front desk. Within a minute, they'd called in two other employees to help us out and we were checked in quickly.
The breakfast buffet is amazing - very extensive and thorough, you'll have a great time regardless of dietary restriction or preference.
Rooms and bathrooms were modern and sharp, very clean. Highly recommended. "

" The location is convenience in the middle of Orchard and just minute to MRT Somerset. Medium panorama swimming pool is good but the room is just right, simple , clean but not so in design . The Bathroom function is not operated well. Superior is too small to stay. "

My favourite thing about this place: the breakfast buffet. Honest to god, the best breakfast buffet Ive been to. Variety of cuisines and dishes, all really tasty.
The only negative: my girlfriend did not like the smell of the room. "

" We were located at the Panorama Club Room. The room was large. Had a big walk in style closet. The bathroom had a shower and a bath tub. The view from the room is simply magnificent. The Club Lounge provides a separate breakfast every morning which is accessible only to a few hotel guests. Which ensured a very relax morning. The breakfast was great, everything we needed. In the evening the lounge had a light dinner available with an open bar. The rooftop bar and pool was another great treat for us. Everyone at the hotel was helpful and professional. Room service answered all our requests very rapidly. All in all we had a great stay. Thank you Jen! "

" Very nice hotel with a great central locationlocation. Very clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is lobby is on the tenth floor with rooms above andlocated above and roof top infinity pool on the 19th floor. There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel but I haven't visited them. They both seem nice but I prefer to explore outside instead.
21 June 2016There is a bus stop at the hotel entrance and a subway station under the hotel. There is also a shopping center with many restaurants also directly under the hotel. Around the corner a few blocks away there are some great authentic restaurants that are more affordable than those on Orchard road. The is also a small grocery store in that same area to get food, drinks (including beer / wine) and supplies if you have a longer stay. The hotel provides complimentary bicycles with helmet and a basket for bringing things back.
Overall a great hotel and I would stay here again. "

" Nice hotel in top of the 313 shopping center, excellently located in the center of Singapore, close to shops (obviously) bars, restaurants. we were a bit disappointed in the size of the room and in the in-room shower, everything looks so small, anyway, service from the employees is great as expected in Singapore, there is also a metro stop just outside the hotel, so great for mobility to other parts of the city and the airport. would definitively stay here again when in the city "

" Very convenient as it is in the heart of Orchard stretch of shopping. The kids love the rooftop infinity pool. Big minus is how thin the walls are. You can hear any noise from your neighbour. "
