" You guys should really come for this church service. Its in a Saturday and Sunday. For service 1, it starts at 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. For service 2, it starts at 4:30 pm and ends at 6:30 pm. Real good atmosphere from different churches and different culture. The preachings are very powerful and they also have pastors from around the world coming to this church too!! I promise you!! You'll never regret if you come attend!! "

24 October 2017HOGC is the embodiment of a church filled with the Holy Spirit, being non-legalistic, filled with a vibrant atmosphere, the tangible presence of God, genuinely nice people, which consistently teaches practical and spiritual principles from the bible over the years with dual focus on building our character and spirituality together.
The pastors, leaders and members are consistent in their biblical views and convictions. The community here is inclusive and supportive. Members take turns to pray for and encourage one another on their own initiative. On top of that, every person serves in church willingly, readily and isn't afraid of hard work. Every person is readily supportive of each other with no one looking out for their own interests first. The church believes in building its members and never using people to build the church.
The pastors and pioneer church-builders have experienced deeply profound and great tribulations in building a youth church (13-16yo/17-19yo), for youths, by youths, according to God's vision to raise a generation of young people who will give Him the best years of their lives. There is a vision and prototype of its kind, not being brought up anywhere else. As you enter the building, youths are found at every corner of this place, yet the place is being run (by youths) with great zeal, professionalism and wisdom. The youths here are capable, mature and responsible beyond their years. It is an anointing that passes down from the pastors and each generation of youth leaders, to the next.
With good pastors, leadership and systems in place, every member is able to serve God with their full hearts and in their full capacities. They are provided opportunities to serve God in various ministries with their God-given abilities, and given room to make mistakes and grow in their character. Having such experiences in HOGC enables one to see that it is an incredibly blessed opportunity to be able to learn and grow up in this church. Members also pick up useful trades and skills that they are able to train in and utilise in the corporate world and in church.
HOGC is currently excellence-in-progress. In this place, people and processes are not perfect, but they are consistently improving (in their own pace). Pastors and leaders believe in prayer, hard work and teamwork, values that members themselves adopt.
This place deserves 5 stars for having character and spirituality-focused teachings, one-on-one and group discipleship sessions, a nurturing culture, cohesive cell groups, regular efforts in performing missionary work and disaster relief, contribution back to the society (e.g. conducting blood donation drives), awesome toilets (ikr!), welcoming people, dedicated leaders, belief in giving opportunities to members, and being a progressive church (in its own pace).
Credibility source: 7+ years (since 2010) of being a member of HOGC, currently at 24 years of age. Status: Loving God, loving life, going strong. "

With good Pastors and leadership, every person is able to serve God with full heart and full capacity, be provided with maximum opportunity to serve with the best that they can, and be given room to make mistakes and grow. Having such privileges in HOGC allowed me to see that it is incredibly blessed to be able to learn in this church.
HOGC is not perfect. We are excellence-in-progress. However, I would rate the church 5 stars for having dedicated leadership, character-focused teachings, one-on-one/group discipleships, emphasis on teamwork, awesome toilets (definitely yes), welcoming people, and giving countless opportunities for members' growth. "
