" My favourite pet shop in Johor Bahru is a small place that is not far from Johor Bahru City Square. I recommend getting here early if you are getting big packets of dry food, as they will need about 20 minutes to repackage into smaller bags. "

" Do not consider bringing your dogs here for boarding. There was no care at all for my dogs. My dogs were mistreated, the pen was not washed down regularly - they were lying in faeces, feeding was inconsistent and my dog was poked with a stick. All caught on camera. Dogs came home trembling and traumatised. "

" This Taman Perling Branch gave us the worst experience. It will not take appointment and asked that you to check first if want to do stuff like vaccination, etc. That was exactly what I did this morning and returned 15-20 minutes later with our cats. Cats are really not happy in cages so what pissed us was, although there was no other pets seen around, the staff told us that doctor is in but will not do the vaccination. They seem to ignore the fact that we did asked minutes earlier whether we could get the vaccination done in the morning. No apologies too. WIll definitely avoid this Global Pet Branch! "

" The animal "medical center" here is not very impressive. Putrid air & vet makes an oversight of cat's symptom during checkup. Pointed out to the vet before running the necessary test. Lab test may be done just above the clinic but it is slow to produce results and an even longer wait for vet's availability to diagnose. Credit for having some of the needed facilities/equipments & giving non-generic medications, but severely lacked of skilled vets are a concern. Pale in comparison with those found in KL & 1 other in JB (Koh Animal Clinic). "

" My first time here and I felt it was a horrible and unfriendly experience. I walked in and nobody greeted me. All were busy playing with a Golden Retriever that was behind the counter even though they knew I was there (somebody had to unlock the door). Was I expected to stand there forever? The assistant who finally did didn't even bother saying hi or greeted me or anything to make me feel welcomed. She just asked me what I wanted.
01 September 2013I didn't bring my sick pet as she's really little and might get stressed and I just wanted to see what the place was like. The assistant insisted that I should bring my pet. I told her that I didn't want to stress my pet out. She then told me "Then bring your cat elsewhere." Bring it elsewhere?! Exact sentence: "Bawa tempat lainlah." While it's true that I should have brought my cat, she should have at least been a little bit more helpful, to ask me questions as to how long my cat's been sick or if there were any house call services or something to make me feel welcome instead of just closing the doors on me.
I was a potential customer even though I wasn't going to pay anything in my first walk-in visit. Why didn't they see the fact that if I was happy with how they treated their walk-in-for-info customers I might come back to give business or even recommend this place? I am sticking to Nusajaya Veterinary which is about 8 minutes drive away, the vet is way friendlier and efficient. "
