" Out of this world and into the jungle that was once a cow-covered dairy hill!
22 April 2018Incredible immersive experience on how plant and animal life can reclaim their realms!
Experience this park by being prepared and you will love it here!! Dress for the heat, humidity and insects. Wear bug repellent. Watch where you step. Bring water. Wear sunscreen and/or wear technical fabrics designed for this kind of environment and you'll be fine.
Best things: a bazillion butterflies, squirrels all over, birds hiding in the canopy, old ruins to explore, history, interesting trees like durian and bananas among others...and so many flowers! good trails (and a place to rinse off muddy shoes afterwards), perfect place for photographers. Not crowded. Mysterious shadows and glimmering sunlit patches to explore.
Notes: Flip flops not okay here. Sturdy shoes really are needed. Not recommended for very young children or strollers...at least not on the Wallace Trail and some other trails in the Dairy Farm/Bukit Timah Nature Reserve wilds. Consider bringing gloves and a trash bag and pick up garbage left behind by others. There is not a lot of trash, but enough that it needs attention and removal.
Most of all, wow! I love this place. What a gem!! "

" Reached Daily Farm through a trail from bukit timah summit..
14 April 2018So... many.... steps...... it's quite difficult for me as I don't go regularly. But it's quite fun :) "

" It nice place to be close to nature, only sounds of birds, wind through the trees & rustling of dried leaves being blown by the wind. Extremely soothing to the soul. "

" Great trail for the family. I bring my kids there every now and then.
15 March 2018I like the idea of allowing them to get close to nature and have them walk down that beaten track and climb up that steep hill. It builds confidence, persevere and let them overcome the fear of small insects and animals. "

" Nice trail from here that leads to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and the hill summit. Apart from a portion with steep steps, the trail is very manageable for regular folk. Visit the Singapore Quarry as well if you are here. "

" Nice tropical forest with plenty of wild durians for your picking once a year. The main track is gentle at first but split off into several tracks leading to the summit. One track is a steep slope while other tracks are made of steps. There are signboards showing directions and maps showing your location along the way. You will be panting and sweating when you reach the summit. It's definitely a good workout and worth the effort. "

" Not for the faint-hearted or anyone with poor physique. Very challenging and physically demanding terrain with lots of steep steps. Avoid entering after 6.30pm, it gets dark very quickly with no lights to guide your path. "

" Interestingly this place can connect to the summit of Bukit Timah Hill. Other highlights include the Wallace Education Centre and Singapore Quarry. The fauna and flora is not as pleasant as those at Bukit Timah Hill. "

" Nice park next to Bukit Timah nature reserve. There is a beautiful clearing there. MediaCorp used to like filming kung-fu serials there. "

" Better than Bukit Timah Trail. The trail can be considered one of the most challenging within Singapore given the small land size. "

" There is an interesting exhibit in the former farm building, and you have high chances of meeting monkeys playing around. "

" Excellent walking trials. Occasionally can catch glimpse of monitor lizards, monkeys and even wild boars. Would be more natural if they don't use broken concrete/tiles to lay some of the trials. "

" One of the nicest places in Singapore for jungle and nature walks / hiking. Some of the steps around the slops are rather large and not suitable for young children. "

" Set in a rustic environment with multiple trails for hiking and biking, the 63-hectare Dairy Farm Nature Park offers a host of recreational activities and amenities such as a nature trail and former quarry. The park’s main attraction is the Wallace Education Centre, Singapore’s first field study hub for schools. "
