" A partially overlooked attraction of Singapore for majority tourists. And that's a good thing. Apart from an intricately decorated temple it's located in Singapore's amazing China town.. the place is a feast for the senses. Highly recommended. "

" It's a beautiful temple in Chinatown. The red paint really makes it stand out when compared to the city. Outside are people taking pictures, but when you go in, you're overcome by this sense of tranquility. If you are in tank tops or anything that is showing too much flesh, you'll be asked to get covering for yourself before entering the shrine. It is more out of respect then a comment on how you are dressed. "

" Beautiful temple. The sound of the monks chanting was a wonderful experience to witness. The fourth floor of the temple is where you can see the Buddha's tooth enshrined in a pure gold alter. There are also meditation areas on the fourth floor. Saw people of all ages meditating. You can also light a candle and place it on the alter for a safe passage home. Here's to a safe flight home in a couple of weeks! "

" beautiful temple with its beautiful architecture. Nice place for those who want to pray or just admire the beauty of this temple. Every floor and section of this temple are worthed to explore. Coming to this place feel you are going out from busy Singapore city, even though it feels so hectic outside the temple. "

" Bliss is the exact word to describe this place. Please wear descent pants and shirt while visiting this temple. This temple takes the inner peace inside you onto a whole new level and this place is too serene in my opinion. There is a buddha tooth placed inside this temple. The temple gets its name from what the Buddhists regard as the left canine tooth of Buddha, which has been recovered from his funeral pyre in Kushinagar, India and displayed in its grounds. The main hall is well decorated, like it's very new. The reception here felt truly at home, and guests are provided with shawls too. The music played here touches your soul and it is too divine, please try to be silent here and try to meditate here. Entry is free. "

" Interesting Chinese temple, if you like Chinese temple stuffs you can come and pay a visit. The main hall is well decorated, like it's very new. Don't expect anything historical here.
28 March 2018The most impressive thing I found in this building is it's architecture beauty. It's not like an ordinary temple isn't it? Instead you could say it looks like some castle in the Middle Ages. Adorable. "

" A warm welcome is provided to tourists, public and locals alike. The reception here felt truly at home, and guests are provided with shawls (for those who may need to cover exposed areas of their body such as the arms and shoulders). The place is truly majestic and one will take time to explore the different levels. Just remember to return the shawls when done with the tour of the place. "

" This is wonderful temple right in the middle of Chinatown. At walkable distance from any part of Chinatown. Temple is beautiful and well maintained. Photography is allowed except level 3 where Buddha tooth relic is kept. I liked the temple more than museum. Do not miss morning and evening prayers on every Saturday! It's a wonderful experience. For women make sure you have proper clothing that's basically covered shoulders and knees covered. Temple provides shawl and a kind of wrapping cloth for legs. Staff is friendly and statues are beautiful. Must visit.. Will take 1 to 2 hrs to see entire temple and more if you atay for prayees which goes on for 90 minutes. Cheers! "

" It is a very beautiful Buddhist temple and one of the most frequented temple by tourists located in China town. Inside the temple there are lots of statues mostly the statues of a Buddha. They play Buddhist sound tracts which make us feel peaceful while walking in and around the temple. It is worthy spending some time making merits. When visiting this temple, wearing descent pant and shirt is recommended. However, they provide some cloths to cover before entry to temple so no need to worry. Visiting China town? Paying your visit to this holy temple will be worth it.

" It's simply great. Tranquil, Serene compact , very clean temple with extremely good collection of idols very well arranged. Found lot of similarity with Hindu mythology. " Well worth a visit, this place is quite a sight to behold. After a quick tour around the ground floor, head up to the relic and the orchid garden. There is a prayer wheel on the top floor and there are a lot of informational signs. No cost for entry, but you'll need to cover up if you have too much skin exposed. "

" The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple is located in the Chinatown district was recently built in 2007, but the temple’s richly designed interiors and comprehensive exhibits on Buddhist art and history tell stories of culture over hundreds of years old. The temple gets its name from what the Buddhists regard as the left canine tooth of Buddha, which has been recovered from his funeral pyre in Kushinagar, India and displayed in its grounds. "

" Absolutely amazing! I had just a great experience. Everybody who worked there was very friendly and helpful. There are 4 floors plus the rooftop garden. Including a museum and gallery. I went through the whole thing and learned a lot, I suggest you do the same! "

" For first time visitors, please know that there are four levels to this magnificently humongous place and that isn't counting the roof, which houses the orchid garden. You can take one of two lifts. Come in decent clothing but, should you fail to anticipate this need, they have robes available for use to cover up. Most of the gallery/exhibit allows for taking pictures but turn the flash off. Over all, this is a great place visit and it doesn't hurt that admission is free too. "

" It's a Buddhist temple called (Buddha tooth relic )
17 April 2017Contains lots of history's of Buddha and other artifacts are amazing. Guardian gods for the different zodiac animal is kind of fascinating.
The temple consists of Buddha tooth which is the main sacred relic where taking photos are prohibited and most of the devotees come there to pray meditate including tourist where the place is very spacious and they have arrangements for the meditators and the devotees. Definitely worth a visit.

" A very beautiful temple in itself, and there's a lot of staff on-site who's ready to help and guide you through all different questions and things you don't know. The esthetics within is mostly a mixture between red and gold, which gives a 'rich' feeling. There a are literally thousands of statues of Buddha and deities in Buddhism. On the top floor there's a garden as well, so it's well balanced between all. If the staffs were busy, there's also a media board which will help you in navigating around the temple. "
24 February 2017Jonathan Greenstein
" Amazing spot. Well preserved, well run and very nice experience. Having visited dozens of Buddhist Temples around Asia, this is very nice and is worth the trip. While some of the temple are off limits to photography, as are most temples, you will leave with an awesome experience. Every time we have visitors, the temple is on the must see list. "
19 February 2017Jaimie Frazer
" If you only want to go to one temple while you're in Singapore, this would be a good choice. Modestly attired visitors are welcome and you don't even need to take your shoes off for most of the areas. As well as a courtyard and two worship halls full.of beautiful idols on the ground floor, there are further worship spaces, a gallery of eminent sages, a museum of Buddhism, a roof garden with water features, orchids and a giant prayer wheel, and finally also the amazing gold covered stupa housing the tooth relic. There's even a vegetarian cafe and tea house in the basement. There is plenty of informative signage about what you are seeing, and the museum provides some history on Buddhism if you don't know much about it (in English, Mandarin and Malay).
10 January 2017The whole place is air conditioned and there are free, clean toilets on every floor. There is also a cold water dispenser.
If you are interested to observe chanting etc there is a schedule in the main hall.
There are lots of other things to eat and see close by, but this is is a tranquil oasis not to miss. "

" This temple is really beautiful and well-maintained. The entire place is very calming (air-conditioned no less), and there is even a chamber on level 4 with elevated areas near the windows for you to do some mediation/self-reflections (cushions provided). Do check out the roof garden too which is beautifully adorned with many plants, and also houses a giant prayer wheel for you to spin. "

" Typical Buddhist temple. Houses over thousands of Buddha idols each of different styles and postures. Their prayers are very soothing to hear. And this is the only temple where I have seen people are allowed to go inside without having to remove your footware "

" Easily accessible, doesn't require queuing or anything like that, just a very good insight to the Buddhist culture and their worships. Worth a trip to visit. Also fully air conditioned and very majestic sculptures. Just remember not to wear hats or revealing shorts as it is a religious place. "
11 September 2016Robert Chohan
" A stunning new build temple set in an old style. Sort of retro futuristic in a weird way? In any case, this place is beautiful serene, calm and peaceful.
20 July 2016There are many photo opportunities to be had here, though it's best to be mindful of how snap happy you get. The walls are adorned with different Buddhas, and the room at the back provides enjoyment for finding the Buddha that matches the year of your birth and animal.
Definitely worth a visit when in Chinatown "
