" A fascinating new museum due to its position on the banks of the Brunei River, and has an attractive area for travelers wishing to know the uniqueness, history and activities that have taken place in the maritime waters of Brunei over the last few centuries. "

" No camera allowed inside the museum unfortunately. We still had a great time though. Once we're finished exploring inside, we ventured outside the museum. Its situated near the brunei river so the scenery was incredible there. "

" No photos can be taken inside except the lobby area. Interesting to find out that BRUNEI used to be a major trading centre in the past n they even build an artificial island to defend their trading port. "

" The shipwreck gallery is impressive. A it dark in the smaller exhibits within the gallery. (seemingly not to protect the artefacts) This gallery is worth the trip out. The second gallery is interesting. You'll only need about an hour if you like to read. The third gallery is for locals, really. With anything else in Brunei, there is no direct us here without a tour so expect to walk from where the bus drops you. "

" Sultan's passion on boating, sea trading of ancient Asia, China pottery-wares lost in a ship wreck around 5-6 AD were there by French's help while studying the sea floor. Nearby the museum, an unfinished /abandoned building in the Brunei river with amazing architectural design. "

" lmao most of the people comment where are just bunch of toxic people, i lived nearby the museum just 5 minute walk. yes there arent any thing to see be side the brief intoduction history of brunei and malay culture, because most of the brunei history is spread out around Sabah and Sarawak (some our sultan are buried in Sarawak ) i enjoy my experiece through the museum eventhough i drive pass by everyday for the last 20 years of my life although it lack the expectation of the people coming by it does give the idea on how big Brunei empire ( half of the south east asia that is ) "

" I prefer the Royal Regalia compared to Brunei Museum but the staff are friendly. Public transportation wise, so so. Once in a while the museum organise interesting exhibition which is not available anywhere else in Brunei. Last one i visited was 'night creatures', was very good. "

" Far away from everything else. Not a lot to see in the museum. Not worth the drive there. "
