" Not too bad for a 2 stars hotel. But need more improvement "

" the deluxe rooms and the furniture in bad condition and partially broken. It's not clean enough. There were problems with the electricity and the water.
28 April 2018The staff is trying but having trouble handling problems and finding solutions. "

" Beautiful view. But kayaks a bit on the expensive side "

" Far from being Eden. You’ll be nickeled & dimed before you even arrive at the resort. Want AC? That's 200,000 more. Want an extra bed? That's 200,000 more.
10 April 2018You have to take a taxi to the end of the road, then take a boat to the hotel for 200,000. This is the only way you can access the hotel - via taxi and boat. Therefore, each time you want to leave, you have to pay. Their “captain” only runs during certain hours so if you’re looking to eat dinner anywhere besides this place, forget it. You also have to give them a 1 hour advance notice if you want to go anywhere. Their boat stops running at 5pm so you’re forced to eat dinner here.
Most of what you want to order on their menu isn’t available. Want calamari? “Sorry, we’re out of calamari - order tomorrow” the server told us. Want another mango lassie? “Sorry, that was our last mango.” Want banana flambe dessert? “Sorry, we’re out of vanilla ice cream.” Ridiculous.
WiFi is very weak through the entire island.
While here, you can rent their broken, bitten, moldy and disgusting snorkels and gear for 60,000 for the day or rent a kayak by the hour. If you want to go on excursions like a snorkeling trip to a nearby island, you’ll again be stuck with their nasty snorkel gear and exorbitant excursion costs.
On the upside, the rooms were clean if you can get past the can of raid bug spray they leave behind. Best to use the holey bug nets over the bed. We left here with huge bug bites all over our legs. NOTE: some rooms do have AC and some don't. Ours did because we paid more and the AC was very good. We had excellent views of the bay from our room too. "

" We had a very pleasant stay at Waecicu Beach Inn. The room was very nice with an outdoor shower. The room was equipped with toothbrush, toothpaste and shower gel. The breakfast was served outside and you had the choice of omelette, pancake or scrambled egg along with fresh fruits such as melon, pineapple and banana. You can rent a kayak and paddle around the small islands just outside. The hotel offers a shuttle service between 7am-11pm, if you want to go into town. We went on a boat trip and had to leave at 5am and we could use the shuttle for the same price. The staff was very nice, but we had a few language difficulties. I would definitely go back, because I would rather stay in a nice peaceful resort than in the dusty ugly town. "

" Place is basically very old and run down, somewhat dirty. Not a good value for your money.
01 November 2017Beds are comfy, ocean view bungalows have a stunning view. Staff is friendly enough but not always around (mostly within earshot though). "

" The shower is so slow and it's an old hotel. But have a nice view, also have a cow inside the hotel! Cutie. "

" Probably the most beautiful beach in Labuan Bajo...4kilometres from the centre. 15 min by motorbike.... "

" Location to die for and a property with such a lot of potential let down by a lack of care and attention. I really want to give 4 stars because I want to love this place but 3 is a true reflection of the standard here.
17 August 2017The rooms are nice and worth the climb up the hill for the lovely view, however some general renovation is sorely needed. Breakfast whilst well situated out on a decking overlooking the beach and bay, is pretty homestay standard and the set up a little shaky ( literally). I like and get the rustic feel but careful incase rustic becomes ramshackle.
Staff were very helpful and friendly but to be out of water and beer on a Saturday lunchtime in August is not well managed.
With some small tweaks this place would be fantastic but currently lacking in most areas apart from situation. "

" This place has so much potential...
26 November 2016The view, location out of town and friendliness of the staff would get this place 5 stars! But the whole place is so run down, it's sad to see. Rooms were dirty, outlets hanging out the wall, half of the shower not working, only one power outlet in the whole room, air-conditioning very unreliable and plenty more issues... And that at a pretty high cost.
I'd still recommend it for a night, just to get the snorkeling around the channel in front of the place without having to drive back to Labuan Bajo. With a few hours in the water you get to see a lot of wildlife and a private beach by swimming to the other side.
If they fix their rooms, this is easily a 5 star place! "

" 2 stars for the locations and the view. Food is only accaptable. Internet is fast. The toilets are not good. Water is not drauning, sink is leaking, toilet dirty. Bungalow full of insekts, dead or alive. Nothing to snorcle. Water in the morning not working, was standing there full of soap. To expensive for everything. Not happy. We had two bungalows and we do not feel well here. Would not come again. "

Betrug vom feinsten. "
