" We stayed at The Beach Villa, a 2 bedroom villa built in a simplistic way with a authentic feel.
15 March 2018We had a massive garden, with a very nice private pool and then a literal stones throw to the beach. which is almost private. The privacy we got was unbelievable. We didn't see another tourist during our 4 days there.
There is a lounge with a TV, we spend time watching movies from our laptop via a HDMI cable, it felt like we were home away from home at times.
The rooms are spacious and fully equipt with an en suite each. The place is cleaned every day and plenty of new towels are provided.
Food was fanatastic from the on site chefs, they can cook a variety of different types, all you have to do is ask. they are very nice blokes too.
All the staff were amazing, friendly and willing to help. Jacqueline who owns the villa is always on hand to help or offer advice, she has a lot of first hand knowledge of the local area so please make sure to use it. Jacqueline really made us welcome and was an absolute star.
There is a local village behind the villa where most of the staff actually come from, our chefs took us around for a tour during their time off and we met many friendly locals who are nothing short of amazingly happy and hospitable people.
there are also 2 bikes available if you fancy taking a little ride around the village or pop off to the harbor which is a 20 minute ride away.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we were isolated from our usual western ways, we met lovely local people and were left alone when we wanted private time.
the best part was going swimming in the pool at 4am, just ask them to turn the lights on.
There is security on site 24/7 and they are very discrete but you have nothing to worry about, we would regularly leave the doors open and nothing ever happened.
My only regret is that we didnt stay there long enough. "
