" I don't normally write reviews but I felt like I should tell everyone about this so they didn't have to go through the same experiences I did. First, we requested a room with 2 beds but they told us when we arrived we booked too last minute so they didn't have that available. Then we got to the room and that fine, but the bed was so squeaky it seemed like it would break at any second. The next morning we woke up to ants in our room and they had gotten into our luggage and on the bed. We told the front desk we could like another room, they said they would check it out and switched us to a different room. The new room seemed totally fine but smelled really musty. I went to shower and saw an entire colony of ants living there. I told them about it and they said they would send someone over but never did. We had to ask multiple times until someone came and sprayed the shower leaving behind a bunch of dead ants. The staff really weren't helpful and the breakfast was gross. Don't stay here. "

" The hotel is strategically central, located very close to the market and the hippiest part of the island but still secluded, quite to sleep safely and sound at night. The swimming pool is great, the staff is very friendly and helpful with our requests!
23 October 2017We book the premiere room and it was pretty spacious, around 90m2. A slight improvement perhaps can be made at 1) the cleanliness of the shower - but this too is still quite manageable as the toilet and mirror part is okay; 2) and the sensitive bed that squeaks everytime we made a move.
Great a la carte breakfast varies from indonesian food (nasi goreng, bubur ayam) to western food (egg benedict, pancake, muesli, granola, etc). We can order 2 drinks per order: any kind of available fresh juice and coffee/tea.
I'd totally recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for an accommodation in Trawangan. "

" As we arrived at Gili one day earlier we booked one night in Gili Amor hotel. The hotel looked great and the check in was fast with friendly staff.
17 September 2017After few days trekking on mount Rinjani we were really looking forward for a nice and relaxing shower, unfortunately the bathroom was very humid with no extractor fan. The walls were filthy, there was no hot water and the water pressure was poor.
The room itself was ok, bed comfortable And it was equipped with TV and AC. Room's windows are just on the side of pool so you need to have curtains closed for your privacy.
On other hand, the star was very friendly, the breakfasts (included with the price) was tasty (poor coffee) and the outside pool was very convenient. "

" VERY uncomfortable bed that squeaks when you turn over. Rubbish shower that is either scolding hot or freezing cold. Door to balcony let's in mosquitos. Can hear other guests banging around and can hear parties all night from Main Street. Mosque speaker faces in hotels direction and plays very loud call to prayer at 5am.

Only saving grace is that the pool is nice and relatively clean and the breakfast pancakes were really nice. "

" Rooms are clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly. WiFi was slow and unreliable but not a major issue for me. The hotel is about 200m back from the main strip which is not far and would take less than a minute to walk. "

" Gili Amor with vintage's style hotel. White wooden unpolished design for doors, bed, and hotel's accent. Clean rooms and friendly service. Mojito as welcome drink and fresh towel. Every 15pm they have compliment tea and coffee as beverages at the restaurant hotel. Minibar in each room are free as complimentary. They have hot water and public swimming pool. Strategic location at central island and not far from Gili Trawangan's dock. The tips is, book your room which is has balcony to the pool side, room 29-30 have terrible view. Enjoy! "
